- yeah, when I'm flying, nobody can-- NOTHING CAN TOUCH ME.
NO "X"Es No hang-ups.
I've never thought about having a seizure.
- watching that, it kind of-- It sent me into that same place.
It was one of the most beautiful, unique things I've seen live.
It's wonderful.
- it was very relaxing.
It's very spiritual.
It's perfect.
- okay, I'll--I'll start with my own vote.

Backstage, every act dreams of taking their talent From the small stage to the biggest stage in the world-- Las vegas.
While the acts have different talents, The one thing they share Is the feeling they get when they perform.
- when I'm tap dancing, It feels very exciting.
- you just let it go And just be who you really want to be.
- you just have this feeling of elation, And it's, uh it's amazing.
- and someone who's no stranger To the joy a talent can bring Is 32-year-old william scott anderson.

Scott.
- scott.
- I've been in the military for 14 years now.
I'm a medical evacuation pilot, And just got home a month ago.
Probably about 75% of our patient load in afghanistan Was the children.
You know, it wasn't us that did that to 'em, But we really want to take care of 'em.
Performing magic, for me, Was my way of communicating With the iraqi children and the afghani children.
You go in there, and, I mean, The kids are hurt really bad, But you bring a smile.
You know, just to imagine, being a parent, Um, what those people see on a daily basis, That was tough.
You know, I The main reason why I love performing magic Is just when you're there with somebody, And they're having the worst day of their life, And all of a sudden you do something That brings them joy.
Good evening.
- good evening.
And you are? - william scott anderson.
- you're in the military? - I am.
- so first and foremost, I got to thank you for your service.
I really do.

- we honor our troops.
And--and what is it That you're going to do for us tonight? - I'm gonna amaze you with magic.
- let's see the magic.
- okay.
In 1997, I was serving in korea, And I was first introduced to origami, The art of paper folding.
Now, in it of itself, Origami is a fairly simple process, But in the right hands, Can be truly magical.
So tonight we're gonna take origami to a whole new level, And I've prepared for you an illusion That has talent written all over it.
- where'd she go? I have no clue how these things work.
- yay, daddy! - vegas! Vegas! Vegas! Vegas! Vegas! - so, william, you entertained me.
I--I loved your execution.
I loved your style.
And I enjoyed it very much.
- thank you.
- said daddy did good.
- uh, what I loved about what you did Is it was just brilliant delivery.
You were, like, this warrior, you know? - love the blend of the military and the magic.
And I would--I would expand on this.
I would use the military And I'd use the uniform and I'd use the flags, And I would use--I would just build on this.
This was a little small to win it, But it's great.
It's a great start.
And so let's vote.
- it is yes from me.
- a big yes.
- three yeses.
You're going to vegas.
See you there.
- three yeses! - thank you.
- did we do good? Did we do good? Yeah.
And we--well, yeah, all of us-- We got a little one in here too now as well.
