Crossing Jordan s06e03 Episode Script
33 Bullets
SATURDAY FRIDAY MORNING, 17 HOURS EARLIER So, then the guy has to decide, either kiss the elephant or eat the worm.
- He has to kiss the elephant? - Right "smack" on the mouth.
God, that is so wrong.
You know, this reality TV just makes me want to "gag.
" Are you kidding, it's compelling drama, Jordan.
Real people in real situations.
It's like Reality.
Which is the last thing I need after a hard day's work.
Just give me some fake people with fake books and fake jobs any day.
But, you know, he really kissed the elephant? - She seemed to like it, actually.
- Hey, Lu, hi, what do we got? We got two down.
It was the final stop in a high-speed pursuit.
"Perp one" was the driver.
Two patrolmen cornered him in the alley.
He bolted from his car, turned back and fired.
Hit anyone? Patrolman Bellamy caught it in his "Kevlar.
" His partner returned fire.
Look, Lu, we're going to be working together and it's going to be weird if we can't at least say hello or goodbye.
Yeah, I'm sorry, Woody.
No hellos, no goodbyes and as little as possible in between.
Where's body number two? The second unit was just pulling up as the shots were fired.
They realized there was a passenger still in the car.
All four officers approached.
And? The passenger was non-responsive so they drew weapons and they ordered a show of hands.
And? / Jordan, he "drew on them.
" They didn't have a choice.
All four "opened up.
" He's just a kid.
Jordan, we got to cover the bodies.
Something like this doesn't "go down" well.
Well, cops "unloading" on an eight-year-old? I can see why.
CROSSING JORDAN JILL HENNESSY MIGUEL FERRER RAVI KAPOOR KATHRYN HAHN STEVE VALENTINE LESLIE BIBB AND JERRY O'CONNELL CREATED BY TIM KRING My partner and I were on patrol when the call came in.
All available units.
So, you joined the pursuit in progress? We were just pulling up as, uh, suspect one was firing on the other two officers.
What happened next? We were all pretty shook up after that.
I noticed someone was hiding back in the car.
At least it looked like he was hiding.
It never occurred to me he might be just small.
- It's Connor, right? - Yes, sir.
Connor Greco.
Just take it slow, Connor.
Walk me through it.
Uh, we "drew weapons", - approached.
- Show us your hands! Show us your hands and step out of the vehicle! And the door just flung open.
II didn't know he was a kid, I swear.
We just, all we saw was his arm shoot out pointing a gun.
Who fired first? It wasit went fast.
This is important.
Who fired first? He did.
The boy.
Twice.
"THE AMERICAN WEST" BY JAMAAR WILKES "Perp one" is Russell Wilkes, thirty.
I called it in.
He's currently wanted on drug charges and he's been "sent up" twice.
- Trying to outrun his third stint.
- Anything on the boy? Jamaar Wilkes.
Probably Russell's son.
His photo's right here in his wallet.
- At least thirty entrance wounds.
- It's "contagious fire.
" Once the shooting starts, no one knows when to stop.
Is she here yet? - She's coming up.
- What's her time frame? Lu said she can hold the press back until the mother is notified.
After that, expect a "blitz.
" - She here yet? - Coming up.
Just got your message.
I'm not actually on the schedule until The schedule's changed.
You're on now.
This case is about to become very high profile.
The sooner we know exactly what happened, the better we can address the accusations that will undoubtedly fly.
Neighborhood's a "powder keg", too.
Bug, you're with Jordan and the boy.
Kate, Nigel, take the father.
We've got maybe one hour before this is breaking news on every TV in Massachusetts.
Let's try and "ski ahead of the avalanche.
" So, it looks like we're going to be working together.
I hope we can do this amicably.
It's about the work, Nigel.
Amicable or not.
Prep for "trace.
" I'll be in my office.
Hey.
Hey.
You waiting to see the Captain? Yeah.
Next few weeks are going to be the worst in your life.
A thing like this you don't get over it easy.
You were protecting your buddies' lives out there, Connor.
You did what you were trained to do.
Ms.
Caullings? I never should have let him get in that car.
I always knew his father would end up getting him killed one day.
I know this is difficult for you.
Here you go.
But just start at the beginning.
Just tell me everything that happened this morning.
It was about seven-thirty and Jamaar was brushing his teeth and getting ready for school.
Then his dad shows up unannounced as usual - and he said he would take him.
- You and Mr.
Wilkes shared custody? I dated Russell Wilkes for three months.
He just comes around every couple of years when he decides he wants to be a father again.
Do you know exactly what Jamaar took with him? His backpack, lunch box, his homework.
Ms.
Caullings, do you have a handgun in the house? Of course not.
I don't understand what's that got to do with anything? Is somebody going to tell me what's going on? Do you have any leads at all? Leads? When the officers came to your house, what exactly did they tell you? They said that there had been a shooting and that Jamaar was dead and that I needed to come talk to you.
Detective, who shot my son? He was the sweetest boy in the world.
He never caused any trouble.
My grandson did not deserve to die like this, shot down like an animal! Coming as it does on the heels of recent tensions between the police and the black community, the shooting of eight-year-old Jamaar Wilkes has caused Protests are forming, as many voice suspicion of police accounts of the shooting.
In black churches and community centers across this city, some are using the words "cover-up" to describe what occurred here today.
This city is about to combust.
You take three hundred years of racial tension, four cops and thirty-three bullets and, "kaboom.
" Appreciate the optimism.
Macy.
Well, Ithat's not going to be possible.
Paul, it just takes time to oh, she did? She did.
Did she? Okay, well then we'll be there.
I understand you completed your autopsy and your results support the police.
How do I know that? I heard it from the governor's office.
You want to tell me how the governor got autopsy results before I did? They called.
I saw no reason to lie.
Okay, you see, it's called chain of command.
I don't give a damn who hired you, if you leak results one more time, I swear to God, your ass is going to hit the pavement so hard, they're going to hear it in Lowell.
Do you understand? Do you understand? Yeah, I hear you.
/ Because of you, we're being called to testify by the end of the day.
That's a deadline I'm not sure everyone in this case will meet.
I apologize if I work faster than Jordan.
Next time I'll try to pace myself.
"Ballistics" from the boy's gun are coming up.
STRIATION MATCH CONFIRMED "Slam dunk.
" It's just hard to believe.
Jamaar did not get that gun from his mom's place.
So, what kind of man picks his son up from school and hands him a "nine-mil?" - A bad man.
- Where are we? Uh, "G.
S.
R.
" on his hand, Jamaar's prints were on the gun and "striations" match two "slugs" found on the wall and the alley, right behind where the police officers were standing.
Better move on to autopsy.
I need a report on my desk by five.
- Police Review Board has scheduled a hearing at six.
- Garret, we need more time to do this right.
We're talking "trajectories" on thirty-three bullets, full "fluoroscopy", building a timeline I feel your pain, Jordan, but I've got a governor breathing down my neck, a new "M.
E.
" undermining my authority and a special prosecutor trying to open my "jugular.
" Report at five.
Testimony at six.
No justice! No peace! I can say with a reasonable degree of certainty that Russell Wilkes fired at Officer Bellamy before he was fired upon.
On what do you base that opinion? It's simply unlikely that Mr.
Wilkes could have discharged his firearm so accurately once those four "slugs" entered his chest.
You also reviewed the forensic evidence on Jamaar Wilkes? Yes, I did.
Uhum a total of forty-eight "slugs" were discharged on the scene, thirty-three of which made contact with the body.
Eight of those were fired from Officer Bellamy's gun, ten were fired from the gun of Officer Koontz, six were fired from Officer Greco's gun and nine were fired by Officer Vanderleest.
And in your judgment, which of these was the fatal shot? Shots four, five, ten and nineteen "lacerated the right carotid artery", shots twenty through twenty-eight entered the lungs.
Shots twelve, thirteen, fourteen and twenty-nine shattered the spinal column, shots eleven, thirty and thirty-one entered the heart.
The question, Doctor Cavanaugh, is which caused the fatality? We're talking about a fifty-nine pound child shot at "point blank" range.
At least twenty-eight of those bullets could have been fatal.
Did the handgun found beside the boy yield any evidence of value? Fingerprints on the "nine millimeter" match those taken from Jamaar's body and "G.
S.
R.
" on his hand indicates that he had fired the weapon.
That's a lie! You're all liars! My baby didn't shoot that gun! Doctor Cavanaugh, is it accurate to say that your findings support the view that the boy fired at the officers? That the police on scene did, in fact, follow proper protocol? - Doctor Cavanaugh? - Yeah, uh yes.
It appears that Jamaar fired the gun.
After hours of testimony by police, "C.
S.
U.
" and the Medical Examiners office, the Chairperson of the Police Review Board addressed a tense and crowded hearing room with the following.
As tragic as the death of Jamaar Wilkes is, there is no evidence that police protocol was breached.
The officers fired only when fired upon.
We therefore see no cause for disciplinary action to be taken against the officers involved in this regrettable incident.
Thirty-three bullets, Lu.
That little boy's insides were so decimated you couldn't tell one organ from another.
I wouldn't stick around too long if I were you.
Kate, we've got to get out of here.
Come on.
All right, people, give me your ear.
I need "E.
D.
T.
" deployed on Essex, "Q.
R.
S.
" teams right behind.
Homicide, drug and gang, undercover, tonight everyone's in uniform.
It's about a police presence.
It's about being seen.
This thing is far from over, people.
I need every available on the street.
Hey, man, what are you still doing here? You should be home by now.
Yeah.
I was just heading out, man.
My bike's parked outside.
No, come on, I'll give you a ride.
You're a little too famous to be traveling alone on a night like this.
It's getting nasty out there, people.
Move in teams, wear vests, be safe.
- Now what? - I'll try Federal.
No, we just tried Federal, Federal's blocked.
No, that was Devonshire.
Half the streets are barricaded, the other half are a bloody war zone! You said you could get us back! And you insisted on driving! Out of the car! Now! Move! Hurry up! - Now! Move! Now! Hurry up! - Okay.
Okay.
Did you hear what I said? Get out the car! Hurry up! Kate! / Open the door and get out the car.
What's wrong with you? Hear what I said? Hurry up! You I can't believe this! You let him steal my car! I saved your life! Come on! All I'm saying is the police shouldn't waste any time before moving in strong.
It's called crowd control.
When a mob gets violent you have to act fast to break up the "group think.
" Beating people to stop violence makes about as much sense as "bombing for peace.
" What would you suggest they do? Hold hands and sing "Kumbaya?" - I don't know.
- Well, then save the criticism until you do.
Because those officers are out there tonight risking their lives for this city.
I know, Lu, I can I catch up with you later? Ms.
Caullings? - I'm Jordan Cavanaugh.
I'm - I know who you are.
I can't tell you how sorry I am.
He was a builder.
You know how some kids are about riding their bikes or playing ball? Jamaar was about building.
He'd sit in his room making log cabins out of "Popsicle" sticks, model airplanes, anything he could get his hands on.
You really believe what you said at that hearing? That he shot a gun at those officers? that'sthat's what the evidence indicated.
I know Jamaar.
And he wouldn't do that.
You're wrong, Doctor Cavanaugh.
You made a mistake.
As most of you know, the violence has spread so the Governor's issued a dusk until dawn curfew.
No one is going to leave the morgue until morning.
We're in the middle of the "hot zone", but this is a government building so you will have police protection.
The good news is we're safe and we're together.
Any of you are inclined to pray, now would be a good time.
That's it.
Souh - we're in lockdown now? - Yeah, looks like it.
You know, there's no way I'm going to stay here all night.
I mean how long do you think it's going to be before this whole morgue goes up in flames? You okay? Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm just I'm just feeling a little claustrophobic.
Come on, we've pulled "all-nighters" before.
You'll be fine.
the clashes that have every available police and fire unit on the streets tonight.
Rioting has intensified Hey! Please, my husband! Help him! Call it in! "Code one!" Sir, sir you all right? Can you hear me? You all right? Yes.
- You want to tell me what this is about? - Protection.
It's registered.
All right, well, I'll just hold on to it for you, okay? The dispatch says, "no go.
" What? / Fire and medical won't come inside "the zone.
" An ambulance was shot at, the driver got hit.
I need your help.
I think my arm's broken.
We're going to need doctors.
Jorge, sir, you ready? Here we go.
Come on.
I got you.
You see this discoloration? His trigger finger appears bruised.
An artifact like that takes about twelve hours to manifest, which means it probably occurred around time of death.
- From pulling the trigger? - It wouldn't have happened if he fired that gun on his own.
It could, however, if somebody wrapped his finger around the trigger and pulled "postmortem.
" Jordan, it's a big jump.
One bruise on a finger and you're telling me those four cops "framed" him? A lot of cops carry a "drop gun", Lu.
We both know that.
There's more.
There was a thin "veneer" of sweat on his palm as you'd expect.
But suspended in the perspiration was something else.
Small "specks", nearly microscopic.
The "mass spectrometer" identified it as cheap black paint, probably manufactured in China.
But the "nine millimeter" had a plain wooden grip with no black paint.
And that tells us what? He was clutching something very tightly in his hand when he died.
And it was not that gun.
I was on site four minutes after that shooting.
I spent the day pouring over every shred of evidence.
There was nothing in the "perp's" car, in the police car, at the scene or brought in by "C.
S.
U.
" that fits that description.
Maybe it's still in the alley.
Come on.
We'll "hole up" in here just until things calm down.
- Thatthat could take a week.
- You got any better ideas? Yes.
We keep going until we get back to the morgue.
It's too dangerous out there.
Ten blocks, we'll never make it.
- We're staying here.
- No, we're going back! You got my car stolen! Yes! Yes, I did.
In fact, you know what, I planned the whole thing.
Hey, you know the guy with the gun? He's a dear personal friend.
- You are buying me a new car.
- You're bleeding.
This is crazy.
You cannot leave this building tonight.
Look, you said it yourself, within minutes that alley was "crawling with uniforms.
" There's no way evidence was smuggled out of there.
Whatever it was, it's still at the scene.
- And if it's there now, it'll be there tomorrow.
- By morning, it'll be contaminated, if not burned.
- I mean those four can still go back and clean up whatever they left.
- Jordan, there's a riot going on.
Yes.
Yes.
A riot brought on by a lie.
A lie that I helped to tell.
Hey, there's nowhere else to take them.
Can't get them to a hospital, "E.
M.
T.
's" won't come into the zone.
Bug! Garret! Anybody! We need help at reception! We've been walking for blocks picking up injured along the way.
- How many? Five? - Eleven.
/ Right this way.
Go.
All available hands please! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, where are you going? I'm going back to the crime scene.
It's important.
So is staying alive.
She doesn't speak English.
Her granddaughter can translate for her.
Hi, can youcan you tell me where it hurts? Connor, stay put.
I'll be back in twenty.
I'm going with you.
End of discussion.
We were locking up the store.
Some guys came in and took radios and my grandmother ran after them with her cane.
Yeah, I know, I should have seen the other guy, right? - Excuse me? - She has aa mild concussion.
Try to keep her still.
I'll get you an ice pack.
Thank you.
I tell you, it was terrible.
We were just driving home and these men, these "hoodlums", they threw a brick through our windshield and we crashed.
- So the officer found you? - There were three of them.
They must have run off when they saw the police.
We were sure they were going to kill us both.
- Like a pack of wild animals.
- We're going to have to "suture" this up.
We've got a lot of badly injured out there.
I've tried hospitals, "P.
D.
", the mayor, "Fema.
" Circuits are down, the city's in chaos.
Okay, just hold still for a second.
Oh! Yeah, some "jack-hole" shot me! All right.
I get it.
My leg.
I think there's a bullet in my leg.
Bullet, leg.
Could you just suffer a little more quietly please? Are you a real doctor? 'Cause you is not acting like a real doctor right now.
Hold still.
I think I see something.
Just don't move at all.
What is it? A bullet.
You've been shot.
That's what I've been trying to tell you! You're right.
Oh, no, you ever been on a real body before, man? I got to eat.
- Cupcakes or "snowballs", what's your pleasure? - I don't do well with processed sugar.
Well, then I'm afraid you're going to starve.
So, how long have you suffered from "A.
C.
S.
?" "Ann Coulter Syndrome.
" Wherein the afflicted gains strength through the hatred of others.
Niceness is overrated.
Ow.
I never saw the point.
It's all based on lies anyway.
"How are you?" "Have a nice weekend.
" The truth is I don't give a crap how you are or what kind of weekend you have.
- Wow, well, you're a "bucket" of sunshine.
- Ow.
I got to eat something or I'm going to pass out.
- Don't say I didn't warn you.
- Yeah, right, the sugar.
It brings up anger.
I have some rage issues.
That's a shocker.
Listen, we were up in my "crib", right? Just laying low and the next thing you know I hear this big crash.
I went out to the street to see what's going on.
This Hispanic dude is all twisted up inside his "pick-up.
" So I go over there and try to help him out and he starts shooting at us, man.
I mean ain't this supposed to be the "city of brotherly love?" That's Philadelphia.
And this is going to hurt.
- I need another doctor, man! - Well, you're stuck with me! - Look, I don't want to be here either, okay? - Everything okay? / No.
Yes.
Bullet in his "gastrocnemius.
" "Vasculature" was intact so I went in after it.
I wasn't talking about you.
Will you excuse us for a minute, would you? Come here.
Crazy.
/ I know you've got a lot going on with Lily and the pregnancy No, I'm fine.
Okay, "bedside" manner isn't usually an issue in a morgue, but tonight it is.
- Try to fake a little sympathy.
- Oh, hell! I didn't ask you to come, Woody.
If you want to leave, go.
No way am I leaving even if you do say goodbye.
Remember this morning I suggested we both start saying hello and goodbye to each other and, you were like, "no way is that going to happen.
" So, that's what I was saying.
Maybe it's not here anymore.
Imaybe it never was.
Walk me through it.
Um, I pulled up and I was met by Greco and Vanderleest.
- Where? - Right over there.
And then Koontz and Bellamy were standing right over there by that wall.
And when they saw me, they approached like they wanted to talk about it.
That's it.
/ Maybe they didn't want you coming over here.
Woody, look.
It's a model airplane.
Cheap black paint.
Boom.
They checked the body, they panicked.
They know they only have moments before back-up arrives.
One of them had a "drop gun", put it in Jamaar's hand and "squeezed off" a couple rounds.
How's it looking out there? Feels like all of Boston's on fire.
It kills me what's happened to this city.
People don't like being lied to.
The truth is a powerful thing.
Sometimes just standing up and saying it out loud can make a world of difference.
I'll get a list going, names and injuries.
Woody? I've been trying to get through for ten minutes.
What was that? / There's been sporadic gunfire down here, Jordan.
We found something.
We're on our way back.
Look out! Woody! Okay, if you get a "tetanus shot" in the next couple of days, you're going to be fine.
- Thank you, Doctor.
- All right.
That's him! That's him! That's the one that shot me! You threw a brick through our windshield! You and your friends! I didn't throw no brick! You just shot at the first black man you saw! Hey, take it easy.
Take it easy.
Back off, all right? Back off.
You people What? What did you say? Hey! Hey! Here.
It looks like a punctured lung.
Get a table ready.
"Sutures, forceps, morphine" if we've got it.
She's going to need a chest tube.
Find something we can use.
- We can't do a procedure like that here - If we don't, she's going to be dead in half an hour.
Go! Go! And get these two out of here! It's impressive, really, how "Malic Acid, Magnesium Hydroxide and modified starches" can together create a lifelike "facsimile" of actual food.
- All right.
That's it.
I'm out of here.
- Kate, we talked about this.
In a few hours, it'll be morning.
Once the sun's up, the streets will undoubtedly I can't wait another few hours.
And I can't stand looking at your face for another minute.
Especially when you talk! Stop talking! Because of you I got my car stolen! Give me your purse! No.
- Give it to me! - Give it, Kate.
Just give it to him.
You will get my purse when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.
Trust me, friend, you do not want to be messing with her right now.
I'm not going to say it again! Do I come waving a bat in your face, huh? Big man with a stick, huh? Do I come and threaten to knock your ugly face off of your head? Who are you anyway, huh? Who are you, huh? Get out of here! You are going to be blood and guts on this floor and then I am going to rip out your kidneys and I am going to take them home and feed them to my dog, "Binky.
" Because there is nothing "Binky" loves more than the taste of human kidneys! Go on! Get out of here! Are you coming or what? "Versed" should keep her out for another ten minutes.
"Anesthesiology" for amateurs, right? Pulse? I'm going to say one twenty.
So, you want to talk about it? - Talk about what? - Whatever it is you don't want to talk about.
Well, you know, it's been a long day, a lot of stress.
- Her breath's fading.
Garret, she's suffocating.
- Hang on.
Hang on.
Ssh, ssh, ssh, ssh.
Okay.
July, 1981.
"Toxteth" riots in Liverpool.
My dad had a shop on Selbourne Road.
When the fighting broke up, we locked up and ran for him, but the violence was all around us.
We saw a man trapped in a burning car and my dad, he reached in and he pulled him out.
You were just a kid.
Yeah.
Nine-years-old.
And five days later, when we finally returned to Selbourne, our whole block had been burned to the ground.
And my dad just stood there in the ashes of his shop.
Both his hands in these big white bandages.
He looked he looked broken.
You know, peoplepeople think of cities as these big solid things, bricks and cement.
But they're not.
When you live through something like that you realize, you realize how fragile a city is.
Woody! Jordan! Jordan! Lu's been shot.
A car drove past.
I never even got a look at him.
There's a "gurney" in the back of the van.
God, it's been a pretty lousy night, huh? It's been a lousy day from the "git go.
" Okay, hold my hand.
- Scar's going to look good on you.
- Yeah? - Nothing like a blond with a bullet scar.
- Yeah? Very hot.
Sort of that, uh, tough tender thing.
I got one myself from a year and a half ago.
It's right above my I know about your scar, Woody.
I've seen it before.
Remember? You're going to be fine, Lu.
It's just a scratch.
You're going to be totally okay.
Okay, got the kit.
Let's, uh let's take a look and see what we're dealing with here, huh? Okay.
Mm.
Mm.
Ah! Ah! Oh! What? It hurts so bad.
- Drive.
/ How bad is it? - Just drive fast.
Okay, I got this.
You're going to be at Boston General in a few minutes.
Guess you were right about the processed sugar.
That was some rant.
Stuff about feeding kidneys to your dog "Binky.
" That will brilliant.
Like you'd have a dog.
"Dandie Dinmont Terrier.
" Three time "champ", registered "A.
K.
C.
" - He's a show dog? - Noted for his luxuriant coat.
- 'Cause of the "Folic Acid" - Abundant in the human kidney.
- You scare me.
- You're buying me a car.
- You got that model airplane? - Yeah, I got it.
Just a couple more miles.
We're almost there.
I'm not going to make it, am I? Internal bleeding, right? - I've seen cops die before, Jordan.
- Would you lighten up with the bad vibe stuff? No one is dying here, Lu.
Okay? 'Cause you and I, we've got a lot of stuff to work out.
God, you did arrest me after all.
I never received a formal apology for that.
- Not to mention the Woody thing.
- Sorry about that.
No, don't apologize to me, okay? Argue with me.
I can't.
I'm too tired.
Too tired to argue? What kind of crap is that? Okay, I'm staining your reputation here.
It's okay.
I feel calm.
No, there's nothing to feel calm about! Lu Jordan, tell Woody.
No, you tell him yourself, okay? - I'm sorry.
- Lu! Lu, stay with me, okay? Look me in the eyes.
Stay with me and do not blink, and do not fall asleep and don't feel calm! Okay? Do you understand? Lu? Lu? Lu? Okay.
Okay.
Come on, Lu.
Work with me here, okay? Lu, come on! I'm sorry, "hon.
" She wanted me to tell you that she's sorry she didn't say goodbye.
¢ÜAnd when I see the sign that points one way.
¢ÜThe lot we used to pass by every day.
¢ÜJust walk away Renee ¢ÜYou won't see me follow you back home.
¢ÜThe empty sidewalks on my block are not the same.
¢ÜYou're not to blame.
¢ÜFrom deep inside the teams I forced to cry.
¢ÜFrom deep inside the pain I chose to hide.
¢ÜJust walk away Renee ¢ÜYou won't see me follow you back home.
¢ÜNow as the rain beats down upon my weary eyes.
¢ÜFor me it cries We didn't know.
We thought he had a gun.
I'm sorry.
Don't tell me you're sorry.
Tell his mother.
In fact, tell all of Boston.
Following a horrific night of the worst violence Boston has seen in decades, it appears this morning that, once again, order is returning to this city.
Casualty assessment is preliminary but officials estimate at least forty million dollars worth of property was destroyed.
And the lives of eight civilians and three police officers were lost last night.
The surprise confession this morning by one of the policemen involved in the shooting of Jamaar Wilkes has prompted the "D.
A.
's" office to say they now expect criminal charges to be filed against all four of the officers involved.
¢ÜYour name and mine inside a heart upon a wall.
¢ÜStill find the way to haunt me though they're so small I ever tell you how we met? She took my parking space at the station.
Ouch.
I was so "pissed.
" I almost punched her "lights out.
" - You don't take a man's parking space.
- No, you just don't.
She thought I was some crazy "hot head.
" That I had "issues" that I needed to deal with.
You? Issues? Nah.
You want to know the part that hurts the most? We were this close to becoming friends.
I know.
¢Ünot the same.
You're not to blame
