to the remote town of Broome,
which lies amongst one of the most
picturesque regions on the planet.
Broome is the gateway
to the Kimberley region,
Western Australia,
where the outback meets the ocean.
A spectacular land of red earth,
white sand and blue skies,
and its culture
has shaped its history.
It is the epic location
of our finale,
the thrilling final leg
of The Amazing Race Australia.

the multicultural heart and soul
of Broome since the 1800s
when Chinese and other Asian migrants
converged on the town seeking work,
alongside the Indigenous locals,
in the lucrative pearling industry.
And today, this heritage-listed area
is still considered to be
the epicentre of the town's commerce.
In this challenge,
teams must come to Sun Pictures,
which opened in 1916,
making it the oldest operating
picture garden in the world.
It's here where they must feed
each other sweet and sour pork
with giant 2.4-metre-long chopsticks.
Once they successfully pick up
and eat one full portion each,
they'll receive their next clue.

We arrived at the chopsticks
challenge in second position
and we left first - boom!

A Road Block is a challenge
that only one team member
can complete
based on a cryptic clue.
Broome is the pearling capital
of Australia.
Established as a pearling port
in the 1880s,
it still produces some of
the finest pearls in the world.
Our teams will have to come here
to Willie Creek to peg oysters,
which is basically pulling pearls
out of these bad boys.
In this Road Block,
one team member must go out
and collect a panel of oysters
from the pearling boat,
take them back to land
and submerge them in water.
Then they have to gently coax
four of them to open up.
And the locals reckon
if you talk to them, it helps.
Come on, pearlie, pearlie, pearlie!
Once opened, they'd better be quick
to get the metal clamp in their mouth
before it closes.
Then they must push a peg inside
and hand them to the master pearler
to see if it holds a pearl.
If it does,
they'll receive their next clue.
My wife likes expensive things

In this challenge, one team member
has to get a boat to a sandbank,
grab an oyster shell
with a Yawuru word inscribed on it,
meaning 'dust storm',
and then write the word in the sand.
Then the other team member must jump
in a chopper and take to the skies
and identify the word written
in the sand within three minutes.
If they get it wrong, they have to
do the whole process over again.
But if they get it right,
they'll receive their next clue.

And it's time to get racing again.

It's also time to start
paying close attention.

So in this final challenge,
their memory will be tested.
Firstly, they'll be given
six replica clock towers
which they must arrange
in the order they visited.
Once they've put the clock towers
in the correct order,
the judge will give them
six clock faces
set to the six times
they were at each clock tower.
They must then put those times
in the correct order
to reveal a 6-digit code.
If it's a 2-digit time,
they have to add them together.
That code will unlock two padlocks
to open a chest.
And inside the chest
is their final clue.
And I'll see you at the Pit Stop.
