1 My very favourite time of the year is here again.
Christmas is always special in Hope Valley.
I love our town customs, new and old.
But this year we have something extra to celebrate.
Lucas Bouchard has inspired Hope Valley to put on its very own Christmas Festival.
Just like the ones he visited when he travelled with his parents.
He has got the whole town involved.
People are enjoying familiar treats.
And some new ones.
Even my student choir is pitching in.
They will be performing at the festival finale on Christmas Eve.
For me, this holiday is special because it is also Little Jacks first birthday.
I want to make Christmas as wonderful for him as it was my sisters and me when I was growing up.
A full house overflowing with beauty, laughter and good cheer.
Oh, it's alright.

I can't believe it's almost Christmas.
We open another window in our advent calendar this morning.
There was a little bell inside.

Every year my dad carves a new animal for the manger scene.
This year it's a lamb.
Well, that's a lovely tradition.

Well, every Christmas Eve, my parents would hide a brand new ornament somewhere on the tree and then my sisters and I had to find it.

We decorated our Christmas tree last night.
