NCIS Los Angeles s07e22 Episode Script
Granger, O.
1 You totally committed.
That barrel was sick! Yeah, too bad I didn't see that closeout section in front of me.
El Niño giveth, and El Niño taketh.
(laughs) Hey, do you want to go grab a pressed juice or something? I'm sorry.
I'm sure you have plans.
What's wrong?! (grunts) Whoa! Whoa! Hey! Watch it! Hey! (tires screech) (grunts) Please, you got to help me.
No, no, no, no.
No, no, no.
Wait! Please (gunshot) (crowd screaming) (tires screeching) NCIS: LA 7x22 Granger, O.
@elderman (excited chatter) MAN: Give me that shot! J.
J.
Reddick! (cheering) Just a girl making it rain.
Treys all day! Threes from overseas! You know you're down ten, right? Next time we score, we win.
Yeah, but we play better under pressure, right, baby? Yeah, right.
- Come on, baby.
Ball in.
CALLEN: Is this your first time playing? Is it your first time? KENSI: I don't know.
Come on, baby.
Considering my shots! Oh! Two in the paint! We rollin' now.
That's what we do.
We shoot, we score, we win, and we take home the trophy.
SAM: No, no.
You lose, you sulk, carry our trophy home, and you buy us lunch.
Ball in.
You know you're supposed to say "ball in," and then you throw the ball.
My bad.
My bad.
You gonna give-and-go on me? Oh! Hoist it up, my man! No, no! (grunts) Oh! That's the game! Oh! Oh! Nice assist, partner.
Guys, best two games out of three.
SAM: It's your self-esteem.
No, because we have exposed your weaknesses.
We're ready.
We'll make this quick.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Two-on-two? No one, uh, thought about asking me and the Nellster to play? Oh, you and the Nellster, you guys been practicing? No.
Not-not really, but I did want to say that last time we all played together, I-I don't think I ever mentioned to you, but I was Eric, focus.
Spit it out.
You're needed up in ops.
Okay.
Fair enough.
We should've had that game.
I know.
We're staying home this weekend and practicing.
No, we're not.
We have Kat's wedding.
Ugh, it's gonna be 250 guests.
It's gonna be terrible.
It's gonna be great.
Three years on varsity, bitches.
What do you got, Nell? Venice Beach, this morning.
Surveillance video.
Some nice sleds.
NELL: Aaron Kim spots these two guys, and rabbits.
Boy's got skills on that board.
KENSI: Oh, did not see that coming.
Neither did he.
NELL: Or this.
CALLEN: Look at those moves.
Professional.
Did they go after the girl? NELL: Nope.
LAPD interviewed her.
She had just met Aaron this morning out in the water, so she can't help us.
So who is Aaron Kim? Why were we sent this? Remember the counterfeit handbag king from Christmas? Mike Hobbs.
Dude also falsified documents to help North Korean spies sneak into the U.
S.
And made a list of those spies' names.
And a joint FBI/NCIS task force has been running down all the names on The Hobbs List.
Appropriate title.
Hmm.
NELL: But because this murder was so public, and in our own backyard, SECNAV wants us running point now.
Everyone is accounted for on The Hobbs List, except for two names.
NELL: By accounted for, he means either dead or in custody.
Aaron Kim was on that list, so now there's only one.
ERIC: Exactly.
And this is the last name.
Hobbs created the identity of Han Choi and brought him into the U.
S.
But then the trail stopped cold on that name once he cleared customs.
We know he's using an alias; we just don't know what it is.
The joint task force can't locate him either.
SAM: If we're pulling this case, they believe Choi's in L.
A.
NELL: Which leads to surveillance video of Han Choi in this Venice hardware store.
DEEKS: What do you mean? That's it? That's all we got? No footage of him coming or going.
But we did get a clean image on the two men who attacked Aaron Kim this morning.
Facial rec matched them to these fake passports they used at a boarder checkpoint in Tijuana three days ago.
All right.
Sam and I will go after them.
Kensi, Deeks, see if you can find Han Choi.
On it.
Done.
Where's Granger? The Assistant Director is en route to Jennifer Kim.
You remember her, right, G? North Korean assassin that laid the smack-down on you.
ERIC: They sent her here to kill the agents on The Hobbs List.
So now they're sending someone to pick up where she left off.
Think she'll have any information that could help us? Even is she does, would she help us? HETTY: That's what the assistant director is going to find out.
Good luck, gentleman, on locating the shooters.
Come on, let's go.
Guys, this has been a whirlwind courtship, and really, I'm just thrilled that the mighty FBI is taking the time to show a humble private fitness trainer the world.
Do you ever stop talking? It's called flirting.
There's just something about cheap nylon windbreakers that really do it for me.
Ugh, you start screen-printing big yellow letters on them, it's like catnip.
Meow.
We aren't getting rid of this one fast enough.
Getting rid of me? Oh.
Who am I gonna get to play with now? (chuckles): Oh, joy.
FBI AGENT: Assistant Director.
Authorization release.
(tablet beeps) She's all yours.
This thing with you always showing up, it's bordering on an obsession.
I hope you didn't come here thinking you could break me, get me to start singing a different tune than what I've been telling the FBI for weeks.
Give me your hands.
I'm not helping you.
I didn't expect that you would.
Let's go.
What makes you think I'm not gonna make a run for it? You don't strike me as somebody who wants to get shot in the back of the head.
ERIC: We're scanning for additional camera feeds, but the street up on your right is the last one that the shooter's sedan was spotted on.
CALLEN: Got it, Eric.
Thanks.
Where'd you go last night? What makes you think I went anywhere? Your right inner wrist.
Ah.
Very good.
Think about becoming a detective or something.
(laughs) I'm a natural.
Mm-hmm.
The Whiskey.
The Whiskey on Sunset? Mm-hmm.
Rock club? The one and only.
All right, so you're sitting there on a random weeknight in your furniture-less house I got furniture.
When something comes in a tiny box with a million screws and becomes a complete bedroom set, that's not furniture.
The Swedes do know how to pack a box.
Although, writing directions, not so much.
Okay, so you're sitting there on your disposable couch, and you're thinking, "I'm a little out of touch with the current state of rock and roll.
" Anna wanted to go.
(chuckles): What? She doesn't know anyone in L.
A.
, and there's some thrash metal band she wanted to see.
Okay.
Couple things.
First of all, she knows people in L.
A.
She knows Kensi.
She knows Deeks.
She knows me.
She knows you.
But only one of us got the call.
That's right.
And second? Secondly, what classifies a band as thrash metal? (laughs) Sounds like farm equipment or something.
I don't know.
What I could gather, it's the perfect blending of volume and growling.
Volume and growling.
You'd have loved it.
G.
There's the car.
(engine running) (engine stops) Ditch the car at an empty house, hope someone steals it.
Would have sent us on a wild goose chase.
That's a pretty nice move.
The trunk.
(sighs) (camera clicking) So this guy's known to LAPD.
His name is Hunter Henderson.
He got popped for selling automatic weapons.
Well, that makes sense.
Nell said that two of the North Korean shooters came across at a border crossing.
Which means when they got to L.
A.
, they wouldn't have had any weapons.
They call a guy like Hunter.
Set up a meet.
Instead of paying him, they kill him and take his ride.
That's just rude.
Ops have any luck locating them after they ditched the car? Not yet.
Still searching.
I got something.
(grunts) Got a phone.
And it's still on.
Well, see if Eric can pull anything off this.
- All right.
Thank you so much.
- Mm-hmm.
What do you got? No one's Se Cho You find out anything? Not about Choi, but I did learn that hipsters don't actually like being called hipsters.
Okay.
What do they like being called? "Bearded men, very tight pants, dirty Chuck Taylors.
" I don't think that flows as well.
Yeah.
Okay, so Eric and Nell say they have footage of Han Choi in the hardware store, but not coming or going.
There's no other footage from any other camera on this street.
Uh what if he didn't enter the store from the street? Oh, a teleporting North Korean spy? I'm with you.
What if he came down from one of these apartments? A flying teleporting spy.
Pretty sure there's a movie pitch in here.
Fire escape.
Back door.
Or Choi's private staircase and entrance to overpriced, handcrafted hipster tools.
Sure.
I got this.
Um, I don't think you have to, 'cause we can just go around Baby, I got this all day.
That's why they call me White Chocolate.
What you got girl? Okay.
You're gonna hurt yourself.
(grunting) I'm go around the front and see if I can find the owner.
Oh, that's a good idea.
And by the way, jumping like that is exactly why we lost the game this morning! You want some tea? Mm.
How about some bubbly? They got any Veuve back there? Just take the tea.
Maybe you should see someone about that temper.
So, let me guess.
You had so much fun with me on the flight to D.
C.
that you volunteered to fly me to Cabo for a little fun in the sun.
Where's Th agent these days? The cute one that I beat up in a furniture store.
You didn't beat up Agent Callen.
You wouldn't be in custody if you had.
He doesn't fight fair.
Do you? Not if I can help it.
Have you ever heard the name Aaron Kim? Yeah.
He's one of the people Hobbs helped smuggle into the U.
S.
Okay, he was killed this morning.
Did you know him? I'd met him.
They sent a version of me to kill everyone on The Hobbs List, and now you want my help.
Jennifer, it has nothing Jennifer? (chuckles softly) She never told you my name.
No, she didn't.
Will you? Where is your mother? (sighs) I don't know.
Did she tell you about me? Yeah.
Because I always figured your mother would never I knew.
The whole time.
I knew a man named Owen Granger was my father.
Tea's cold.
I'm gonna get a fresh cup.
Hey, boys.
So, the victim, Hunter Henderson, may have been dead, but his phone was very much alive, and with that, I was able to track the movements of the shooters.
Where was Henderson killed? Well, looks like right here, in, uh, Culver City.
'Cause right after that, the phone went to Venice Beach, where Aaron Kim was murdered, and there's no sign of Hunter in the sedan, so he was probably in the trunk by that point.
After Venice, any stops before the house where we found the car? Just one.
Here.
Parking lot near Whole Foods on Lincoln.
I know that place.
Really? You know a place where they sell organic, natural food? I'm evolving.
Ah.
They've got a wine bar at that Whole Foods and extensive beer collection.
And the burger joint in the parking lot has a very good chili dog, thank you.
What did the shooters do when they got there? Looks like they picked up some reinforcements.
There's two guys inside the SUV, but with the tint, can't make out their faces.
SAM: Parking lot's less than a mile from where we found Henderson's body.
They must have ditched the car and jumped in the SUV.
I have the SUV headed west on Pico 20 minutes ago.
Looking for a current location.
We're headed that way.
I will let you know when I get a hit.
So you've seen this man entering the apartment? Uh, yeah, once or twice.
With this hippie chick.
Hippie, huh? Well, uh, you know, the clothes.
Not the ideas.
Ah.
KENSI: I'm sorry, what was your name again? Just call me the Captain.
Okay.
Uh, Captain, uh, this man is the tenant? I don't know.
Well Yeah, I mean, maybe.
Uh, a corporation rented it.
You know, they sent me a cashier's check for two year's rent in advance.
(chuckles) So this guy, he-he do something? I mean, he in trouble? When was the last time you saw him come here? Don't know.
It's been a while, actually.
Do you mind if we take a look around the apartment? Sure thing, toots.
Just follow the Captain.
She called me "toots.
" She just called herself "The Captain.
" Nice beard.
(knocking) Hello? (rap music playing faintly) Hello? I-I got the, um Oh, what do you guys call yourselves? Federal agents.
We just have a few questions for you.
Hello? KENSI: Do you mind if we just take a look around? Captain's got to keep a schedule.
Have at it.
Just take a second, so if we, uh, could just Oh, wow.
She just (whistles) Got a punching bag in the living room.
I can do this.
You know, a little workout, watch a movie.
(hisses sharply) Yeah.
We could have a punching bag in the living room.
I just won't be living there.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
So no boxing paraphernalia in the living room.
Noted.
I'm not really finding any personal items in here.
No mail, no notes, nothing.
Well, he is a spy, so leaving about a bunch of junk mail with your alias on it may not be the best of I get it.
Yeah.
Wow.
Huh.
Yeah.
If he is living here, he hasn't been here for a while.
Or he doesn't dust.
Turns out, some people just don't dust.
Or maybe we spooked him when we arrested Hobbs and Jennifer Kim.
Well, if that's the case (door opens) Federal agents! Are you her? Oh, now Cory's bringing his slutty side-pieces here? The place I stay at? Oh, oh, okay.
All right.
Slutty side-pieces? Yeah.
Get off of me.
Back away.
Back it up.
Either I hold onto you, or she shoots you.
Totally your call.
You ain't his type, anyway.
You need a ass implant.
Mm-hmm.
(rap music playing) Turn that damn music down! (music quiets) So you're saying you've never hooked up with Cory.
We're federal agents.
I've never even met Cory.
And I'm supposed to take you at your word? Well, now that trust has been established.
This is Cory, right? Yeah.
Wait, if you two are really federal agents We are.
then why are you interested in Cory? He's a lying cheat, but he's not a crook.
Okay.
Cory's real name is Han Choi.
Or we don't know what his actual given name in Korea is, but Han Choi is the name under which he entered the U.
S.
Korea? Entered the U.
S.
? Cory grew up in Thousand Oaks.
He thinks culture is eating kalbi down on Western.
I think you have the wrong guy.
What's Cory's last name, and what does he do for a living? Sung.
And he's an artist.
What kind of artist? Like, a painter or a sculptor? Like denim.
Cory crafts these one-of-a-kind custom jeans.
Japanese selvedge but with a little stretch.
Well, you can't forget the stretch.
No.
Just a little.
Like, two percent.
So where exactly does he make these jeans? His workshop.
And where is his workshop located? And the workshop is located? I don't know.
Cory always talked about it, but he never took me.
Wait.
Are you guys thinking that Cory was copying his designs? Like, like they weren't his own custom creations? Shooters pulled down this street.
Ops hasn't seen them since.
Must be holed up in one of these buildings.
Garages, warehouses-- he could be anywhere.
You having a seizure there? (laughs) Nah, endorphins.
While you and Anna were getting your thrash metal on last night, I went to the boxing gym.
Six rounds.
Fresh guy each round.
Come on.
Give it to me.
Give it to me.
What, was the ring set up in an old folks' home? Was it ten-second rounds? Give it to me.
Come on.
I-I got nothing.
Six rounds is impressive.
I just thought you had a bad knee, and you were pulling back on the sparring, that's all.
I was, but that was before cryo.
Cryo? Cryotherapy.
Fountain of Youth, baby.
Feel like I could jump over a bus when I'm done.
Okay, so is that like a fancy way of saying that you took an ice bath last night? No, no, no.
Negative 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Three minutes, done and done.
I got it.
Okay.
So it's more like a, uh, a carbonite experience.
You're kind of like Han Solo.
We'll hit it up this week.
I'm telling you, G, it'll change your life.
Frostbite usually does.
L.
A.
has clearly gotten to you.
I mean, can you imagine what a Midwest farmer would say when he found out that you paid someone to freeze you? "That Sam Hanna's one cool guy.
" You've lost your mind.
So Granger's escorting Jennifer Kim back to L.
A.
, 'cause there's a pack of North Korean shooters operating here.
Want to hear my theory? First of all, "a pack" of shooters? Well, yeah.
Sounds better than "gaggle," right? I guess.
Anyway, my theory.
Do you want to hear it? That's not really a question, is it? I think Granger and Jennifer Kim are having a thing.
What? No.
No, Eric.
(scoffs) Think about it, Nell.
He escorted her to D.
C.
three weeks ago, and now he's there again.
Are you asking me if I think Owen Granger is having romantic relations with a verified North Korean spy and having trysts, while en route to various interrogation locations? Is that what you're asking me? Well, you don't have to be so mean about it.
Oh, come on.
(computer beeps) Whoa.
Check this out.
Cory Sung-- Han's alias.
He's listed as a subleaser on a commercial space downtown.
That's less than a half a block away from Callen and Sam.
Yep.
(sighs) All they've got to eat are these protein bars.
Want one? I'm gonna take a pass.
Probably just as well.
They taste like chalk.
So when we had our talk before down by the beach That's a beautiful way of saying "when you were interrogating me in that shack.
" You were right.
Well, kind of.
My mom taught me English when I was a child.
But we moved around a lot.
She always had jobs.
Yeah, government jobs.
Like mother, like daughter.
I lived with her until I was 12, and then I went to What did you call it? Spy school in the mountains.
But no one took me.
I wanted to go.
And she just signed off on it? She just let you go? No.
I ran away.
Well, I flew into town for your tenth birthday.
I'm sure you never heard about it.
Your mother didn't think it was a good idea for me to It didn't come from her.
She told me you were in town.
I didn't want to see you.
Well, I can understand that.
Good.
In your eyes, I abandoned you, so why would you want to see me? No.
It wasn't about you abandoning me.
It wasn't about you, really, at all.
I had everything I needed.
All the love.
Everything I could ever want, I got from her.
She was my mother and my father.
You you were just an American, sitting in a hotel room, calling us on the phone.
Sorry.
That was a little harsh.
See, I told myself that your, uh, mother was the one keeping me from you, keeping us apart.
And, you know, it was a good thing.
It was, it was easier.
It helped me reconcile not being a part of your life.
I'm so sorry about everything.
It's not a sad story.
I mean, some kids never know the love that I had with my mother.
Well, I missed the opportunity to be your father.
So maybe someday I can be your friend.
I'm suspected of being a North Korean spy.
Are those the friends you tend to keep? I don't tend to make friends.
Well that's something we have in common.
Maybe with a little cryo you'd be able to keep up.
Just open the door, Iceman.
Federal agent! Hands over your head! Oh, thank God you're here.
Cory Sung? Yeah.
Don't move.
Keep your hands right there.
These guys, they they came here.
They tried to hurt me, but they took off when they heard you guys.
You're here alone right now? Yeah.
SAM: We're gonna take you into custody.
We're gonna protect you from them.
Okay.
(grunts) (car engine starts) Eric, you got eyes on that SUV yet? We're running all the cameras in the area, but as of now, we lost them.
All right, stay on it.
Copy that, Sam.
(whistles) You guys good? Yeah, we're good.
So, Han Choi was the poison pill, huh? Yeah.
That's a nice little plan.
Send him in with the original group of spies.
Anything goes wrong, he's here to clean up.
CALLEN: Get anything more out of his girlfriend? DEEKS: No, no.
Clementine isn't exactly the most helpful, or useful, witness.
(clears throat) Or perhaps the brightest.
Although, she is pretty convinced that Choi and Kensi over here are having an affair.
Even I'm getting a little suspicious.
So, uh, you guys get anything from the shooters you took out? No.
They were clean.
Hold on a second.
Aaron Kim was the last name on that list, and they took care of him this morning.
But Choi and his men are still in town.
They have a new mark.
Jennifer Kim.
Choi must know that she's coming back to L.
A.
But Granger's only in the air with her for another hour.
We have to find those shooters before that plane lands.
Yep.
Okay.
Thanks, Henrietta.
Up until this moment, we thought Han Choi was the next target.
Two agents have just gone to apprehend him.
But Choi's not a target.
He's running the operation to take out everyone on The Hobbs List.
And where does he stand with that? Everyone on the list is either dead or in custody.
Well, if he goes under, you'll never catch him.
But you have one thing working in your favor.
What's that? He won't go under until he's killed me.
All right, so I've got footage of the SUV entering this mall parking structure, but it hasn't exited.
They could be driving anything by now.
Ugh, all right.
I'm gonna review footage of drivers exiting the structure.
Sounds like a plan.
Hey, Nell.
Yes? You know the whole, um, Owen Granger and Jennifer Kim are-are lovers thing? Yeah? Yeah, can we keep that between us? Oh.
I already forgot you said it.
Thanks.
I don't know if they'll believe it.
Well, that's the thing.
North Korea won't have time to vet the information.
They'll just pass it on to Choi.
Sit down.
Okay.
What do you want me to say? Okay, tell them you've killed me and taken control of the plane.
Now, this plane is supposed to land at Santa Monica Airport, but NCIS will be there, which is why you're rerouting it to Burbank.
You need immediate assistance.
Okay.
Done.
So if we're straight in our thinking, Choi will know exactly where his next target is gonna be.
Okay.
Are you gonna loop in your team? Send them to Burbank to intercept him? No.
We're going radio silent.
We're gonna do our own thing on this one.
Why is that? If Choi finds out we're baiting him to Burbank, he's gonna go underground until he figures out his next move.
And like you said, he goes under, he's a ghost.
But how would Choi get word that it's a trap? I just don't want to take the chance.
Is there someone in your organization that you don't trust? You have a mole.
Priceless.
You been able to talk to Granger? Earlier, but I can't get through now.
Nell's trying to contact him through the pilot for me.
Hetty, it's obvious Granger has some kind of personal interest with Jennifer Kim.
What is it? It's complicated.
I've got the REACT Tactical at Santa Monica Airport, waiting to escort Granger and Jennifer Kim to a safe house.
Well, there's no telling how much information that Choi's gonna have on Jennifer's whereabouts, so we'll meet the REACT team, we'll be there when Granger lands.
That's a good idea.
Hetty.
The assistant director's plane just changed direction.
It was making its approach to Santa Monica Airport, and then it diverted.
And where's it heading? Burbank Airport.
It's landing right now.
All right, we won't involve the local PD.
I'll get the REACT Team moving, and you need to go.
Nell, alert Kensi and Deeks.
Copy that.
You wait.
Looks like we're still clear.
They're not here yet.
All right, go into the main building, tell them to lock the doors and keep security and PD away.
I'll handle this.
Get going.
(tires screeching) Run! Go.
Give me your backup weapon.
I can't be unarmed if Choi comes after me.
Thanks.
All right, I'll take the east side, you run the west wall.
We'll meet We'll corral them into the middle of the hangar.
Yeah.
Hey.
(gun clicks, rapid gunfire) Don't.
(panting) No closer.
Let her go.
There's no one around here.
No one will see if you just walk away.
No one will ever know.
Well, that's not gonna happen.
She's an enemy of your government, and she's going to die.
You should be happy with that outcome.
You shouldn't die with her.
Had a feeling you took a little souvenir from the plane.
It was a good fork.
CALLEN: This could've gone south fast.
GRANGER: Yeah, but it didn't.
Kinda did.
DEEKS: Granger Danger for the win! Assistant Director.
Yeah, but Assistant Director Danger doesn't really have the same pop to it, now does it? Too risky to loop us in? Choi's surveillance could've picked it up, or he could've found out it was a trap through other means.
The mole.
Look, this has gone on too long.
We need to identify and take out this mole.
Hetty and I are doing that.
All right, well, let's get out of here.
You need a ride? I'm gonna take her to the safe house.
(vehicle engines starting) DEEKS: I'm not saying that I don't want to go.
Wait a minute.
Did I say that I don't want to go? No, but you were making fun and you were laughing about it, so I just figured you weren't interested.
Baby, Kat is one of your closest friends.
If she's getting married, of course we're gonna celebrate that together.
Thank you.
And by the way, I completely acknowledge that this is not your kind of wedding.
Baby, this shouldn't be anyone's kind of wedding.
She's gonna have actual show ponies there.
(laughs) Kat does love her ponies.
Everyone loves ponies, but I'm just saying, spending thousands of dollars on hundreds of people that you barely know just to show off Whoa, whoa, whoa.
She's not showing off.
She's genuinely happy.
Okay.
You're right.
You're right.
I guess I'm just saying that I'm more of a wedding on the beach kind of guy, with just a few people that you love and that love you.
I love you.
I love you, too.
And I know that a small beach wedding sounds absolutely incredible.
It does, right? Mm-hmm.
Be just me and you and the moms and Monty digging a hole in the sand.
The surf is right there.
It-it could be magical.
Yeah, it could be.
Now I think we should get you some food, because you're about to get hangry.
I need a chalupa.
(both laugh) (sighs) Oh, but, um, the guys from work have to be there.
Obviously, the guys from work.
Yeah.
And-and my girlfriends.
I mean Mandy, Mindy, Tiffany and Tiffany.
Wouldn't be a party without them.
Also, maybe the friends that invited me to their weddings, 'cause I don't want to be rude.
Yeah, that's, like, ten people.
Well, more like 15.
Oh, God, I hate when people don't invite with plus one.
So dates.
Everybody gets to bring a date.
Wait.
Seriously? Everyone gets a date? Ooh, my friends from sniper school.
We totally need to invite them.
Okay, we just crossed over the hundred guest mark.
Also, you want to combine Mandy, Mindy, Tiffany, Tiffany, the sniper school guys and alcohol? (laughs): Oh, what could possibly go wrong? (sighs) So another big night out on the Sunset Strip, huh? Nah.
(chuckles) What exactly does Callen thrash metal attire look like, anyway? Pretty much what Callen at work attire looks like.
Good evening, gentlemen.
CALLEN: Hetty.
How is, uh, Granger doing? Well, I think that's probably a question better suited to him.
You said his interest in Jennifer Kim was complicated.
Mm.
What does that mean? Well, again, that's a question better suited to him.
Clippers tickets.
First row behind the bench? Yeah.
Where'd you get these? They arrived today, courtesy of Mr.
Ballmer.
To celebrate NCIS's 50th anniversary.
Why didn't you take the tickets, Hetty? Are you kidding? I'm a Lakers girl.
Guys, you're gonna miss tip-off.
Get out of here.
Thank you, Hetty.
Oh, yeah.
Hold on a second.
Did she say she was a Lakers girl or Laker girl? (both laugh) JENNIFER: The California dream.
Never thought it was real.
Look at them.
Don't you ever feel like everyone in the world is happy, carefree, everyone except us? Maybe they're looking at us thinking the same thing.
Yeah, probably not.
Listen, everybody in the world's dealing with something.
Are you gonna get in trouble for doing your own thing today? No.
I'm the assistant director; I get to do what I want.
Granger.
What's up? I want out.
Okay.
I'll tell you everything I know, but I'll need I'll protect you.
I'll help you cut ties with the North Koreans, and we'll work with Justice on your incarceration.
If you become an asset, there are things that can be done.
Do you know where my mother is? No.
Will you help me find her? Yes.
She's not gonna be easy to find.
We'll find her together.
Yujin.
Yujin.
You should know my name.
If you still want to be friends.
GRANGER: I'd like that.
@elderman
