stomped on Brendan
and Connor's spirits.
Teams went back in time
and got their yokes on.
Ah!
A glamping challenge proved
anything but relaxing
for Jesse and Marika.
Is it this stupid shell?
But for Catherine and Craig,
the world was their oyster
That's good!
winning their
second leg of the race.
Oh my gosh!
They just went that way.
And in a race to
the pit stop
This is intense.
the brothers
took a big risk.
But with some
smart navigation,
they were spared
from elimination.
You're team number five.
Yeah!
Let's go!
Court, Ali, you've been
eliminated from the race.
Aw.
Now, five teams remain
as they race to win

And, The Amazing Race Canada.
this is the
Acadian Peninsula.
Today, this seaside
community
will act as the 10th
starting point,
as teams battle it out
for a spot in the final leg
of Canada's favourite
summertime adventure.
-Where are we going?
-I don't know.
I can- don't let it
blow away. Okay.
"Ready to fly to
Bowmanville, Ontario."
"Fly to Bowmanville,
Ontario."
"Fly to Bowmanville,
Ontario."
-Okay!
-Alright, let's go, let's go!
Back to Ontario.
Here we come,
Bowmanville!
All teams are now traveling
on the same flight,
over 1100 kilometres from
Bathurst, New Brunswick,
via Montreal, to Toronto
Pearson International airport.
When they land, they'll
receive their next clue,
and drive over
100 kilometres east
to the town of
Bowmanville.
Woo!
Go, Franca, go, Franca,
go, Franca.
Right here,
baby, right here.
Get the clue!
-Here we go.
-Yeah.
"Route Info.
Drive yourselves to Canadian
Tire Motorsport Park and
search for your next clue."
-Let's go!
-Let's go.
Concession 10,
Road 10 in Bowmanville.
Let's get out of here.
We're ready for a race.
We want to experience what
The Amazing Race Canada
can offer us to the fullest,
and that has to
include the finale.
-Good job, Nella.
-Yeah, good run.
We got this.
We're powerful
Filipino women,
and we're coming
for the win, Canada!
We're gonna get through it,
whatever it is.
Ooh, that was a good
little run, man.
-It was.
-We've not won a leg yet. Ah!
We're fighting to get a spot
in the last leg of the race.
It's huge, we have to be one
of the top three teams
on this leg to get,
get that chance.
Our strategy for this leg of
the race is something that
I had to learn the hard way
in the last leg, which is
know when to push hard, and
know when to work smart.
We've got five teams and there's
typically only three so,
we think this could
be a double elimination.
And we're headed to the
Canadian Tire
Motorsport Park
so, we could be driving
some sport cars, baby.
Get this moustache
going in the wind.
Let's go, baby, let's go!
-Road Block.
-Road Block.
-Yeah!
-"Who likes to be precise?"
In this Road Block, one racer
will get behind the wheel of
a brand-new 2022 Chevrolet
Corvette Stingray.
Then, they'll take to the
Driver Development Track,
a 3-kilometre-long advanced
training course and
proving ground for some of the
top drivers in the world.
Accompanied by an
instructor from the
Ron Fellows
Driving Experience,
racers will have to perfectly
execute this precision
driving course while
maneuvering through a series
of cones, and stopping on a
dime inside this box.
Once they've completed
the course in under
2 and a half minutes,
they'll receive
their next clue.
"Brendan, Franca,
Craig and Veronica
must do this Road Block."
-Awesome.
-Oh, lucky girl!
It's good that
you're gonna drive.
Line forms here.
"Marika, Brendan,
Franca, Craig, Veronica
must do
this Road Block."
-Dude!
-What's going on?
We're missing driving
the Corvette?
I know.
- Dammit.
- Yeah.
Pew!
I've been jealous of
every Road Block
Veronica's gotten to do.
But it's okay, it's okay,
it's okay, it's okay.
Cutest race car driver ever.
Welcome to
Motorsport Speedway.
-Oh!
-Woo!
Rip it!
That's my big brother.
- All business.
- Yeah.
Okay, 3, 2, 1, go.
That was good,
that was a speedy start.
That was moustache engaged.
The most important thing here
is that he has a moustache
because that's just
built for speed.
For this Road Block, you've
got to make it around the
racetrack in under
2 minutes and 30 seconds,
and then land the car
in the finish box.
I saw, I saw a little wiggle
coming into the corner there.
Shake and bake, baby.
I'm really harnessing my
inner racer right now.
Nice!
Let's go!
-Super quick time, Brendan.
-Alright, here we go!
-And a phone!
-Nice!
Where are we going?
"Fly in a seaplane to
Tobermory, Ontario."
No way!
Teams will now use the OnStar
Guardian app to help them
locate a pilot at the
Oshawa Executive Airport.
When they arrive,
they'll stock up on a
selection of Guru Organic
Energy Drinks to provide them
with good energy for
the rest of the race,
and sign up for one of three
float planes that will arrive
10 minutes apart from each
other in Tobermory, Ontario.
Located at the northern
most point of the Niagara
Escarpment, Tobermory is
home to ancient reefs,
rock formations, and
centuries-old shipwrecks,
offering some of the best
scuba-diving in North America.
And today, teams will race
through the traditional
territories of the Anishaabe,
Ojibway, and Saugeen Nations,
as they race to make
it to the final leg
of The Amazing Race Canada.
"There's three
flights to Tobermory.
First come, first serve."
-First place, baby!
-Let's go!
"Use your OnStar
Guardian app to get you
to the Oshawa Airport."
Oshawa Executive Airport.
-Perfect.
-We're flying to Tobermory.
We're on
Georgian Bay, baby.
Need to focus because if
we don't pay attention-
Look at this peacock!
You don't see that every day.
No kidding.
Look it, is that,
is that a wild peacock?
Want to go to Tobermory?
Okay, 3, 2, 1, go.
She got out of the
gate fast, and
hopefully, she gets the time,
and I think she's got to stop
in the box up here, so
that's gonna be key.
Go, go, go, go, go, go, Riki.
She's got to go and stop.
-Excellent job, Marika.
-Thank you, that was fun.
Woohoo, nice work!
"Oshawa Executive Airport
located at
1190 Keith Ross Drive
in Oshawa."
Do you know what
your top speed was?
-I wasn't looking at all.
-Yeah, that's good.
Yeah! Oh, yeah, baby!
Woo! Come on, Franca!
-Wow.
-Get in there!
Your nose was just
outside the pylon.
Quick enough, but you've got
to stop short of the stop box.
Shoot! One small error puts
us to the back of the pack.
It's just this stupid pylon.
It is super important for us
to be in front of other teams
because we are here
to make the finale.
We can't make any mistakes.
-We're gonna make it up.
-Yep.
Woo, go, Craig!
My dad owned a Corvette.
He didn't ever let me drive it,
but he owned a Corvette.
So, there's got to be
something in there
in the Ramsay blood that
loves that speed.
Woo!
Yeah!
Oh, yeah.
Woo! My Little speed rat.
Woo!
I would have liked to be out
of here off the first hop,
but it's okay. There's still
lots of race left in the day.
We just have to reset
after this, focus,
get to the next challenge
'cause anything can happen.
We'll get back on track.
Oh god, wow.
Yeah, woo!
-Hoo-hoo-hoo.
-Stop, stop, stop, stop.
Yes, okay!
-Oh yeah!
-Woo!
Chuck Ramsay is
gonna be very proud.
My heart is like pounding.
Woo, woo!
-You did that so fast!
-Did I?
-Yeah, you did, ah!
-Let's go, let's go.
Come on, she's got it.
Oh-ho-ho!
I feel so much pressure now,
right, just being last.
Stop, stop, stop!
-She got it.
-Thank you!
"There are three
flights to Tobermory.
First come, first serve."
-Let's go!
-Okay, let's go.
We just left the Canadian Tire
Motorsport Track in last place.
It's 1-1-9-0
Keith Ross Drive.
It's like a flight
centre on that road.
-There's 3 different flights.
-3 flights to Tobermory.
There's the Guru
signup board, I see it.
Ha-ha-ha,
flight number one!
-Let's go, baby!
-We're t.
-Nice, Woo!
-Let's go, baby.
-Alright! Guru time.
-Guru time.
We're on flight number one
going to Tobermory, baby.
-Only team on that flight.
-Yes, let's go.
That's the penthouse.
-Okay
-Ah! What?
Brendan and Connor
got that first flight.
Kind of a bummer that
there's not two teams
on the first flight.
Because Team Franella
failed the challenge,
I'm pretty sure we're gonna
be on the second plane.
Sorry, not sorry.
I think the fastest
way is to 57.
This is our first time ever
in this race being
in last place, and feeling
that pressure.
Every second counts,
especially in this
leg of the race.
The stakes have
never been higher.
We need to be ahead.
You cannot be last
place right now.
-Say what?
-What?
Oh yes, plane number two,
this is marvelous!
We're with Jesse
and Marika. Wow!
-Holy cow.
-I think we're good.
We're on plane number three.
It's the last plane so we
don't feel great about it,
but it's still early in the day,
so we can make up time.
Get there, gotta get,
gotta get- right here. Okay.
Signing up for this
seaplane in last place,
we cannot make
any more mistakes.
There is 0.00001%
margin for error.
All five teams are now
traveling on three separate
float planes that will touch
down 10 minutes apart
on Georgian Bay in
Tobermory, Ontario.
Once they land, teams will
search the town for ??,
where they'll find
their next clue.
"The Numbers Don't Lie."
Here at Fathom Five
National Marine Park,
just below these
crystal-clear waters,
is 22 perfectly
preserved shipwrecks.
Here, in the shipwreck
diving capital of Canada,
these barges, schooners and
steamers sunk due to the
area's notorious weather,
and the shallow,
hidden sandbanks
in the harbour.
Teams will now make their
way to Little Tub Harbour.
Once here, one racer will
have to dive into
the cold waters
of Georgian Bay,
and use these buoys
to guide them to
four famous Tobermory
shipwrecks
known as "The Tugs".
Once they find
their four numbers
corresponding to their
chosen team colour,
they'll need to relay the
information to the teammate,
who must then find
the right combination of
their numbers to unlock
their treasure chest
out of 24 different
possibilities.
Once they crack the code and
find the right combination,
their treasure chest will
open to reveal the key to the
first ever Chevrolet
Equinox RS,
where they'll find
their next clue.
Only one of us can be
in the water at a time.
-Yeah, yellow.
-Okay, I'll go first.
Brendan's going first.
Okay, yell the numbers out
to me as you find them.
-They're gonna be single digit.
-Okay.
Zero to 9. Let's go, dude.
We have to find the
numbers underwater.
The tag's associated to our
colour, so we chose yellow.
And there's four numbers- we
need to unscramble the code.
- 9!
- 9!
This is awesome!
-2!
-2!
Keep going!
Okay, Jesse,
you've got this.
-Let's take this one.
-That's way too dark.
No, blue!
I'm gonna shout
the numbers to you.
Yeah.
-Green'll be easier to see.
-No, not with this.
-Oh right.
-I think this.
We're choosing
purple, purple.
-Like The Color Purple.
-Like The Color Purple.
-This water is so cold.
-Come on, go, Craig.
I'm freezing!
It's entering into my body
from every single place.
-Okay, you can do it.
-Oh my gosh, oh my gosh.
Oh my gosh.
Yell out the numbers
that are purple.
So, Brendan's out
there right now.
He's looking for
numbers right now.
He's given me two of them.
We're, we're yellow.
-5!
-5!
9-2-5-8!
I'm just gonna
write them all out,
the different combinations.
There's 24 different
variations of the numbers.
I have to listen to the
numbers that he's calling out.
There's four numbers.
You've got this, Jesse!
Remember blue.
-8!
-5-2-9
-Try the first one I gave you.
9-2-5-8.
It went 9-2-5-8
from the far side.
Pull down.
What's that backwards?
8-5-2-9.
Ha-ha!
We're here for our treasure!
Ar, we got it, alright!
I was thinking the
orders that I found them,
flipped it backwards
-And reversed it.
-Turned it around.
Put the thing down, flip it and.
Ba-da-boom, ba-da-bing.
-5!
-Was that 5?
I think that was 5.
1-6-8-5.
I'm gonna go 5-8-6-1.
Which one is it?
Lock it.
Here, let's rip and read.
Ready? Right now.
"Face Off."
Teams must now drive the
first ever Chevrolet Equinox RS,
75 kilometres south
to the town of Wiarton,
home of Canada's famous
groundhog, Wiarton Willie.
Willie predicts it's
an early spring!
Once here, they'll
search the town for
Lloyd's Convenience Store and
Pool Hall where they'll play
The Amazing Race Canada
version of snooker.
Yes!
The object of this game is
to score more points
than your opponent by
pocketing the balls that have
specific point value,
from 1 to 7.
Players keep shooting
until they miss
or scratch, which allows
their opponent to place the
cue ball wherever they
want on the table.
The first team to catch a
lucky break and score the
most points will win the
Face Off and
receive their next clue.
The last team at the Face Off
will have to wait out a
predetermined penalty before
they can keep on racing.
Felt good to get
into Georgian Bay.
That's the first swim in
Georgian Bay of the year.
This is crucial for sure,
this Face Off,
like the last leg we
were in with Face Offs,
we came in last.
You've got this, okay.
The colour is the base
of your chest, so red.
I love this!
Beverley is a
certified diver so,
she knows what
she's doing. She's got this,
I'm just dressed
like this for moral support.
-Hi.
-Hi.
This one, green
Yeah, you got it,
Nell, good job.
We are both not
strong swimmers.
Water and Franella
don't mix.
You've got it,
green, green, green!
-You just yell at me.
-Okay.
Go to that one!
He's got three numbers.
-4!
-I got it, come on in!
-Have we done 1-6?
-1-6-5-8.
-Yup, here we go.
-Sick, okay, 1-6-5-8.
-Okay.
-Okay, here we go, take that.
-Okay, let's go, let's go.
-Okay, here we go.
"Face Off." We've got to
take advantage of this.
To potentially take
home a win today.
Catherine, what can
I help you with?
9-3, I'm just
trying to decode it.
You can make all the numbers
for me, and cross them off.
It looks so
beautiful out there,
but I'm confident
that Beverley
is gonna get all of them.
Veronica, 4!
-Got it!
-Got it?
-4!
-Okay!
I can't tell if
Beverley's yelling.
I can't tell if
Nella is yelling.
I don't know who's who.
All the voices are
starting to sound the same,
and I'm hearing
multiple numbers.
-4!
-Okay!
We'd have to go through
every single team
losing pool to not get
out of their first.
-And I love pool.
-Oh, there's the boys.
It's time for a
Face Off, woo!
This is the back room
in Lloyd's Smoke Shop.
-Let's do it.
-Alright.
This pool hall, the outside
looks like convenience store.
Full pool hall in the back.
This is some old school stuff.
Brendan and Connor,
you're breaking.
Sit.
Ball is placed back,
free shot.
1-nothing, Jesse and Marika.
-Veronica?
-What?
4-2-7!
- 3!
- 3 for what?
-What are you talking about?
-What?
-What are you talking about?
-Number 3!
I know, but you gave
me already 5 numbers!
4-1-7-6, and now
you're giving me 3.
-4-2-7-1.
-Yup.
So that was the 3
you found over there.
-Okay.
-So let's try 3-9-5-4.
Yes, good job, Catherine!
Okay, Chevrolet car keys.
Nella, you gave me 7 numbers.
-No, I didn't.
-Or 5 numbers.
I didn't.
-Just keep trying.
-Yeah.
-Yeah, you did!
-My first number was #1.
Your first number was 4.
You yelled 4 at me!
So is it 4?
My first number was number 1.
Well then why did you say 4?
-I didn't.
-You did!
-Maybe it was Beverley.
-No, you said 4.
Well, I don't know what
numbers are right and
what's not, Nella, so you might
have to go back in there.
Like I'm using 4, Nella,
because you said 4.
Okay, I'm going back in!
Nella, relax, please!
Do you want to
give it a shot?
Oh, what?
Ow. Sweet.
We don't know what
the numbers are.
She told me five numbers.
I don't know which
ones to use, so
Cool!
Oh, my god, Face Off.
Amazing, let's go.
We're pretty close behind
Catherine and Craig,
and now we just need
to make our way to
a little town
called Wiarton.
Oh my god, I bet Jesse's
like a pro at snooker.
Oh, I used to go to
the Olympics for pool,
but then I switched to cross
country skiing, after croquet.
-Sick, Jesse!
-Don't, don't, don't, don't.
Ah!
That ball doesn't count.
-Gets placed back.
-What?
No points awarded
and free shot.
Dang it.
That is 8 to 4.
We're on the
ropes right now.
The hard thing in snooker
is it's anyone's game,
right 'til the end.
You can sink lots of balls
at the beginning of the game,
but as long as you can sink a
couple of big balls at the end,
especially that black ball,
you can win.
The point differential,
if Brendan and Connor
score one more ball,
they win.
Get in the pocket.
-Sit! Yes!
-Let's go, baby!
Let's go, baby.
-Good game, guys.
-Let's go, good game.
-Good game, guys.
-Good game, guys.
-Good game.
-Sorry, that was so close.
That's okay, Jesse,
you almost had it.
-Good job, guys!
-There they go, there they go!
"Route Info. Don't lose
your train of thought."
Teams must now drive
themselves over 60 kilometres
to CFB Meaford, home of
the 4th Canadian Division
Training Centre, serving as
the primary training base of
the Canadian Armed
Forces in Ontario.
Here, teams will get a taste
of what it's like to train
with the 4th Canadian
Division of the
Canadian Armed Forces.
Wearing protective equipment and
military issued tactical vest
teams will have to run
through this physically
demanding obstacle course,
under the watchful eyes
of a training officer.
A good soldier
values fairness.
The range safety officers
will be conveying the
4th Canadian Division's seven
critical military values,
which racers must memorize
while they complete
the course.
-A soldier needs integrity
-Loyalty.
-Courage.
-Excellence.
-Responsibility.
-Honesty.
Fairness.
Once they've soldiered
through the course and
recite all seven
values correctly,
Major Wheeler will give
them their next clue.
-Alright, let's do it.
-Let's go.
It looks like we're playing
Catherine and Craig.
I've never played so,
this should be interesting.
There's lots of points
on the table still.
We've just got to
sink a few of these.
-You can't touch any other ball.
-I can't?
Just touch the yellow.
-Good job.
-I did it!
-You did it.
-I did it!
3-nothing.
I'm working with
4-1-7-6 and 3.
That ain't right.
-Nella?
-Yeah?
You might want to go
to the far one first.
Okay!
No 4, no 4, no 4, no 4.
Good job, Nell!
Do 1-7-3-6.
6-1-7-3.
We need to win this first
game of snookers
in order to get out
of last place.
No room for error-
we have to win, Nella.
Yes.
Thanks for having
us today, guys.
-These are great boots.
-Yeah.
Having the opportunity to
get suited up in the
Canadian Forces uniform
is a true honour.
Welcome to the 4th
Canadian Division
Training Centre
obstacle course.
Are you guys ready to
tackle this course?
-Yeah, we're ready.
-Oh yeah.
Now, there's something we
have to say at the end.
Yeah, to the Major.
What do you think
he'll ask us?
-I don't know.
-3, 2, 1, go.
High knees, high knees.
For this challenge,
we have to go through
a Canadian Forces
training course, and then
answer a question at the end,
but we have no idea what
the question is gonna be that
the Major's gonna ask us.
A soldier needs integrity.
Corporal Kwan
starts yelling out
different values in
the Canadian forces.
Let me see your loyalty.
We start to pick up that
we're gonna need to memorize
these words while we're
going through the course.
Integrity and loyalty, Connor.
Integrity and loyalty.
You've got this, Jesse.
15-15.
Tie game, next ball wins.
Argh!
That ball doesn't count.
It gets placed back,
and free shot.
I just lost the game for us.
Congratulations.
-Thank you so much.
-Thank you.
Oh my god, Craig,
that was amazing.
Yeah, I play pool.
-Wow, wow, okay.
-That's okay.
To see Marika be
upset over that loss,
I don't want to
see anyone suffer.
-No, me either.
-It breaks my heart.
-Oh, we meet again, friends.
-Hi.
This time around, ah
This is what this looks like?
Here we are,
third time playing.
Hopefully,
third time's a charm.
Terrible start.
I go to the pool hall
with my boyfriend, so
pretty much,
the game is ours.
Nice.
It's very tense
in this room.
Very tense.
Always strive for excellence.
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, and
and excellence.
This course is physically
and mentally demanding.
Loyalty, courage,
and excellence.
But, if that's what we have to
do to get to the finale
Bring it on.
Integrity, loyalty, courage,
excellence and responsibility.
-A good soldier values fairness.
-Fairness.
In order, what soldier values
have you learned today?
Okay, you try.
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, honesty-
I'm sorry, that answer
was incorrect.
-You'll have to try again.
-Okay, let's do it.
I'll remember
the first three,
and then you
remember the last.
3, 2, 1, go.
Just pace yourself,
pace yourself.
Alright, next one blue,
what do you think?
I'm gonna go over there
into one of these.
I've never seen that
before in my life.
And free shot.
No pressure, but if I shoot
this awkwardly angled
pink ball, then we move on.
I believe in you,
my little pool shark.
Congratulations.
Dude, you totally
carried that.
Is this our leg or
is this our leg?
There's definitely gonna
be another challenge.
And we can do it.
Yeah, okay, focus up.
We showed up in second,
and we really can't afford to
leave in last, at this point.
Jesse, just please, do not get
the white ball in this time.
Yeahl, yeah.
Jesse!
Always strive for excellence.
I got those four.
What soldier values
did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, excellence.
Responsibility,
honesty and fairness.
-Congratulations.
-Let's go, buddy.
-Thank you.
-Appreciate it.
Yeah.
Teams will now make their way
to The Inn at Cobble Beach
and search the 574-acre
resort for the lighthouse
on the 17th hole.
Today, the Cobble Beach
Lighthouse will guide
five teams, as they race for
a spot in the finale of
The Amazing Race Canada.
-Alright, let's do it.
-Let's do it!
We're going to find Jonny boy
at the pit stop mat!
Oh, we're excited alright,
oh, yeah.
Looking like a first place,
but we don't want
to jinx it here.
Pace yourself with this
and breathe.
-Just pay attention, okay?
-Okay.
Go!
-A soldier needs integrity.
-Here we go, integrity.
Reporting for duty.
-Go.
-Woo!
High knees going
through the tires!
Use those arms, Veronica!
Get those knees high!
-I'm good.
-A soldier needs integrity!
-Why is he yelling at us?
-He's so encouraging.
-Let's see your loyalty.
-Loyalty.
-You've gotta have courage.
-Courage.
You've got the first 3,
Catherine?
To memorize these words,
I am saying them to myself.
I have integrity, I have
loyalty, and I have courage!
Integrity, courage.
-Right behind ya.
-Okay.
In order, what soldier
values did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty, courage.
Excellence, responsibility
Honesty
And fairness.
-Congratulations.
-Thank you.
Thank you for your service.
-We're going to the finale.
-We're going to the finale!
Let's get there, though.
-Let's get there.
-Let's get there.
Yeah, baby, bring it home!
In order, what soldier
values did you learn today?
Oh my god, obviously.
We didn't read
the clue properly.
-It was like integrity.
-Show me your loyalty.
Um, show me your loyalty.
You need to try the
obstacle course again.
Okay, let's go for it.
3, 2, 1, go.
A soldier needs integrity!
You've got it, Nella
Yes! Good job.
This Face Off is our moment
to get out of last place.
Sorry, we love you guys,
but we need to win.
Yes, good job!
The score is 13 to 10.
The last ball wins.
Woo! Let's go!
-Congratulations.
-Thank you!
-Thank you!
-Let's go, let's go!
Can we start the
timer like right now?
- Ah!
- Good job, good job!
Talk about pressure!
That's the race,
that's the race for ya, folks.
Please start it now!
Jesse and Marika still have
to wait another 15 minutes.
We know the top three teams
make it to the finale.
-We are in
-4th place.
4th place, so we're
panicking a bit.
We've just got to make sure
we get to Jon on time.
Yeah, someone's
got to go home,
and it's not
gonna be Franella.
I'm so mad right now.
Okay, just be mad,
it suck- this sucks.
That really sucks.
I'm sorry we didn't get it.
Stupid game of pool.
This isn't the
end of us.
We just have to get,
get back ,
let's persevere
-Okay, yeah.
-Get going.
Get the next clue
and get after it.
Yeah.
-Here you guys go.
-Thank you.
-Good luck.
-Okay, let's go.
We have to be top three
today to make sure that
we're there on
the final leg.
We will not give up until
-Until we get to the mat.
-Until we get to the mat.
It's what we've been working
for the whole time, baby.
What we've been working for
this whole time
is to get to that final.
I also want to really thank
this moustache for
guiding us through today.
Bring it in, you guys!
Bring it in!
-Ah!
-Ha!
-Are we glad to see you!
-Hell yeah.
Welcome to the Lighthouse
at Cobble Beach
on the beautiful shores
of Georgian Bay.
Thanks for having us.
Brendan, Connor
You're team number one!
Hey!
First place, baby!
We're back on top!
You've earned your
spot in the finale!
Let's go! Let's go!
As the winners of
this leg of the race,
you've also won a trip for two
to Auckland, New Zealand.
-No way, let's go!
-Yeah!
And to bump it up just
a little bit more,
a $3500 Marshalls gift card.
Having a first place finish
rolling into the finale,
kind of gives you that
extra bit of confidence.
We'll see you at the
next and final mat.
-Thanks, thank you.
-Take care.
We're back in our pocket!
A soldier needs integrity!
Next one.
Let me see your loyalty!
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, excellence.
Oh, yeah, 10, hup!
I can't believe I'm
doing this because
I'm not physically fit.
3, 2, 1, go.
Come on, Franca,
you've got it.
We have to memorize something.
-A soldier has integrity.
-Yeah, we have integrity!
You've gotta have loyalty.
A soldier has
integrity and loyalty!
Good work, Franca!
I'm eating mud.
A soldier has
integrity and loyalty.
- Yes!
- Loyalty
Okay, let's do this.
Every team is ahead
of us right now.
Franca and Nella are
right in front of us here.
I see Beverley and
Veronica further down.
Headed for excellence.
So we have to get it
right the first time.
3, 2, 1, go.
-Okay, let's go, Riki!
-A soldier needs integrity.
-Integrity.
-Integrity!
-Let's see your loyalty.
-Integrity, loyalty.
A good soldier values fairness!
-Responsibility
-Courage.
Wait, wait,
responsibility, loyalty.
What was the last one?
What soldier values
did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty, courage
Ah, and
Sorry, that's incorrect.
You have to do
the course again.
-V!
-My brain, I'm trying!
It's okay, let's go.
-This is 10th.
-This is 10th?
-Okay, sorry.
-That's okay.
Right on 10th.
We need to stop and ask.
I don't think we've ever
done anything
more stressful than this race.
-No.
Excuse me, we're looking
for Cobble Beach.
-Do you have a cell phone?
-Yeah.
Can you put it
into there, please?
-Yeah, we're in a big race.
-Cobble Beach.
Make a right on
2nd Avenue West,
and we go for 12
kilometres on that.
There's a big golf course, it
says Cobble Beach Golf Course.
Awesome, thank you so much.
-Thank you so much.
-Really appreciate you.
-Thank you.
-Let's go!
A good soldier
values fairness.
Integrity, loyalty, courage
Come on, Franca, hurry!
What soldier values
did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty, courage,
strives for excellence
And responsibility,
honesty and fairness.
I love you, I love you.
-Thank you, thank you.
-Congratulations.
-Let's get out of here.
-Let's go.
-Yeah, we've got to go.
-We left two teams behind.
-Who was there?
-Beverley and Veronica.
And we left Jesse and Marika,
so we've got to go!
-We're going to see Jon!
-We're gonna be in the race!
-I'm so proud of you, Franca!
-We're 3!
-You've got this.
-Courage
Nice work, let's go.
Go, go, go, go, nice.
-Excellence.
-Responsibility.
Honesty, fairness.
-Is that the right one?
-Yeah, yeah.
I thought fairness
was the sixth.
Approach the Major,
we have to-
I thought fairness
was the sixth.
No, fairness is the last one.
Whatever you think.
Integrity, loyalty, courage,
excellence,
responsibility
Honesty, fairness.
-Oh, thank you!
-Congratulations.
"Drive yourselves to
Cobble Beach and search the
shoreline on foot for the
lighthouse and Jon
at your next pitstop."
Okay, let's go.
We think it could be
a double elimination.
We just have to hope people
make a mistake on the road.
I just hope that we
can run that last leg.
What soldier values
did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, excellence
Responsibility, honesty,
fairness. I'm so sorry.
-Congratulations.
-Thank you.
We're only like
20 minutes behind, so
I'm looking for
a golf course.
Making sure that we're on
the right side of the water.
We have to be on the
other side of the water.
Can we ask you a question?
We're looking
for Cobble Beach.
Around the bend,
it's on your left.
Okay, where the
golf links are.
-Okay, thank you!
-We went too far.
-Yeah.
-We got it, we got it.
-Yeah.
-We've got this, okay?
Okay.
I need to see if I
can see a lighthouse.
It's really hard to see.
-There's a lighthouse.
-Yes, yes.
A lighthouse, that way,
this way!
-This way!
-What do you mean?
Let's just go.
Let's go to the mat, Riki.
Let's go,
let's go, let's go.
Woo!
-Oof!
-Oh my gosh.
- There he is!
- Yes!
Who is that?
That's Catherine and Craig.
Oh gosh.
Hi, guys.
Catherine, Craig
Jesse, Marika
You're teams number
Two and three.
How did that happen?
Oh, my gosh!
Everyone has just earned a
spot on the final leg of
The Amazing Race Canada.
-It sounds unbelievable.
-I know, it sounds amazing.
Yeah, considering
how our day went,
it honestly sounds
unbelievable.
One more leg on The
Amazing Race Canada.
We'll see you at
that final mat.
-Hi, Jon.
-Hi, Jon.
Franca, Nella
You're team number four.
As you know, we've only ever
had three teams
on the final
leg of the race.
Okay.
But this year,
we're taking four.
We did it.
Ladies, you have a shot to
win The Amazing Race Canada.
-What's Mama thinking?
-She's so proud.
We're gonna win because
we just think about
our mom's strength,
and she's with us,
and she raised really
strong women.
We've beat all of these
teams before, twice,
and third time's
a charm, Jon.
No holds barred
on that final leg?
No holds barred.
-Promise?
-Promise!
Franella, we'll see
you at that final mat.
I'm fine, yeah, no, I'm fine.
This is like what makes me sad
when I watch The Amazing Race,
and people are driving at night,
and they're like
Last.
Oh, my god, thank you so
much for waiting for us.
Oh my god.
Beverley, Veronica, you are
the last team to arrive.
-We know, we know.
-Wow.
I am sorry to tell you this,
but you've been eliminated
from the race.
We're like
mentally exhausted,
physically exhausted.
We put everything
that we had out there.
We made it to the 10th leg.
That is unbelievable, and I
know that this race would
not have been half as fun
with anybody else.
Our friendship has just
surpassed anything
we thought possible.
You've been shining
examples on how to run
The Amazing Race Canada
with honour and dignity.
-And integrity.
-And integrity.
-And loyalty.
-And loyalty.
Beverley and Veronica,
your energy is infectious,
and I wish you all the best.
-Thanks.
-You too.
-Thank you so much.
-We crushed it.
-I'm so proud of us.
We did it together.
Next time, on the
season finale of
The Amazing Race Canada,
for the first time ever in
Amazing Race Canada history
We're very excited!
four teams
plunge into battle.
Let's go, baby!
-Whoa!
-Yay!
You've got it!
We're here to play.
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go!
-You've got it!
-Geez, this is hard.
This is the most
important day.
I'm so frustrated.
I know, I'm,
I'm frustrated too.
The stakes are high.
Eee!
Everything counts
during this finale.
-Yeah!
-No!
No, no, no, no!
You need to go faster!
It's a fight to the finish.
Jesse!
And the gloves are off.
Don't get
frustrated, please.
It's winner take all.
-Whoa!
-Welcome to the Franale Show.
Woop-woop!
Previously on The
Amazing Race Canada
Bathurst, baby!
Six teams raced along
the Acadian Peninsula
There can only be one winner
and it's gonna be Franella.
-Bring it!
-Bring it!
where a step dancing

Um, I'm gonna
need a notepad.
stomped on Brendan
and Connor's spirits.
Teams went back in time
and got their yokes on.
Ah!
A glamping challenge proved
anything but relaxing
for Jesse and Marika.
Is it this stupid shell?
But for Catherine and Craig,
the world was their oyster
That's good!
winning their
second leg of the race.
Oh my gosh!
They just went that way.
And in a race to
the pit stop
This is intense.
the brothers
took a big risk.
But with some
smart navigation,
they were spared
from elimination.
You're team number five.
Yeah!
Let's go!
Court, Ali, you've been
eliminated from the race.
Aw.
Now, five teams remain
as they race to win
Ha!

And, The Amazing Race Canada.
this is the
Acadian Peninsula.
Today, this seaside
community
will act as the 10th
starting point,
as teams battle it out
for a spot in the final leg
of Canada's favourite
summertime adventure.
-Where are we going?
-I don't know.
I can- don't let it
blow away. Okay.
"Ready to fly to
Bowmanville, Ontario."
"Fly to Bowmanville,
Ontario."
"Fly to Bowmanville,
Ontario."
-Okay!
-Alright, let's go, let's go!
Back to Ontario.
Here we come,
Bowmanville!
All teams are now traveling
on the same flight,
over 1100 kilometres from
Bathurst, New Brunswick,
via Montreal, to Toronto
Pearson International airport.
When they land, they'll
receive their next clue,
and drive over
100 kilometres east
to the town of
Bowmanville.
Woo!
Go, Franca, go, Franca,
go, Franca.
Right here,
baby, right here.
Get the clue!
-Here we go.
-Yeah.
"Route Info.
Drive yourselves to Canadian
Tire Motorsport Park and
search for your next clue."
-Let's go!
-Let's go.
Concession 10,
Road 10 in Bowmanville.
Let's get out of here.
We're ready for a race.
We want to experience what
The Amazing Race Canada
can offer us to the fullest,
and that has to
include the finale.
-Good job, Nella.
-Yeah, good run.
We got this.
We're powerful
Filipino women,
and we're coming
for the win, Canada!
We're gonna get through it,
whatever it is.
Ooh, that was a good
little run, man.
-It was.
-We've not won a leg yet. Ah!
We're fighting to get a spot
in the last leg of the race.
It's huge, we have to be one
of the top three teams
on this leg to get,
get that chance.
Our strategy for this leg of
the race is something that
I had to learn the hard way
in the last leg, which is
know when to push hard, and
know when to work smart.
We've got five teams and there's
typically only three so,
we think this could
be a double elimination.
And we're headed to the
Canadian Tire
Motorsport Park
so, we could be driving
some sport cars, baby.
Get this moustache
going in the wind.
Let's go, baby, let's go!
-Road Block.
-Road Block.
-Yeah!
-"Who likes to be precise?"
In this Road Block, one racer
will get behind the wheel of
a brand-new 2022 Chevrolet
Corvette Stingray.
Then, they'll take to the
Driver Development Track,
a 3-kilometre-long advanced
training course and
proving ground for some of the
top drivers in the world.
Accompanied by an
instructor from the
Ron Fellows
Driving Experience,
racers will have to perfectly
execute this precision
driving course while
maneuvering through a series
of cones, and stopping on a
dime inside this box.
Once they've completed
the course in under
2 and a half minutes,
they'll receive
their next clue.
"Brendan, Franca,
Craig and Veronica
must do this Road Block."
-Awesome.
-Oh, lucky girl!
It's good that
you're gonna drive.
Line forms here.
"Marika, Brendan,
Franca, Craig, Veronica
must do
this Road Block."
-Dude!
-What's going on?
We're missing driving
the Corvette?
I know.
- Dammit.
- Yeah.
Pew!
I've been jealous of
every Road Block
Veronica's gotten to do.
But it's okay, it's okay,
it's okay, it's okay.
Cutest race car driver ever.
Welcome to
Motorsport Speedway.
-Oh!
-Woo!
Rip it!
That's my big brother.
- All business.
- Yeah.
Okay, 3, 2, 1, go.
That was good,
that was a speedy start.
That was moustache engaged.
The most important thing here
is that he has a moustache
because that's just
built for speed.
For this Road Block, you've
got to make it around the
racetrack in under
2 minutes and 30 seconds,
and then land the car
in the finish box.
I saw, I saw a little wiggle
coming into the corner there.
Shake and bake, baby.
I'm really harnessing my
inner racer right now.
Nice!
Let's go!
-Super quick time, Brendan.
-Alright, here we go!
-And a phone!
-Nice!
Where are we going?
"Fly in a seaplane to
Tobermory, Ontario."
No way!
Teams will now use the OnStar
Guardian app to help them
locate a pilot at the
Oshawa Executive Airport.
When they arrive,
they'll stock up on a
selection of Guru Organic
Energy Drinks to provide them
with good energy for
the rest of the race,
and sign up for one of three
float planes that will arrive
10 minutes apart from each
other in Tobermory, Ontario.
Located at the northern
most point of the Niagara
Escarpment, Tobermory is
home to ancient reefs,
rock formations, and
centuries-old shipwrecks,
offering some of the best
scuba-diving in North America.
And today, teams will race
through the traditional
territories of the Anishaabe,
Ojibway, and Saugeen Nations,
as they race to make
it to the final leg
of The Amazing Race Canada.
"There's three
flights to Tobermory.
First come, first serve."
-First place, baby!
-Let's go!
"Use your OnStar
Guardian app to get you
to the Oshawa Airport."
Oshawa Executive Airport.
-Perfect.
-We're flying to Tobermory.
We're on
Georgian Bay, baby.
Need to focus because if
we don't pay attention-
Look at this peacock!
You don't see that every day.
No kidding.
Look it, is that,
is that a wild peacock?
Want to go to Tobermory?
Okay, 3, 2, 1, go.
She got out of the
gate fast, and
hopefully, she gets the time,
and I think she's got to stop
in the box up here, so
that's gonna be key.
Go, go, go, go, go, go, Riki.
She's got to go and stop.
-Excellent job, Marika.
-Thank you, that was fun.
Woohoo, nice work!
"Oshawa Executive Airport
located at
1190 Keith Ross Drive
in Oshawa."
Do you know what
your top speed was?
-I wasn't looking at all.
-Yeah, that's good.
Yeah! Oh, yeah, baby!
Woo! Come on, Franca!
-Wow.
-Get in there!
Your nose was just
outside the pylon.
Quick enough, but you've got
to stop short of the stop box.
Shoot! One small error puts
us to the back of the pack.
It's just this stupid pylon.
It is super important for us
to be in front of other teams
because we are here
to make the finale.
We can't make any mistakes.
-We're gonna make it up.
-Yep.
Woo, go, Craig!
My dad owned a Corvette.
He didn't ever let me drive it,
but he owned a Corvette.
So, there's got to be
something in there
in the Ramsay blood that
loves that speed.
Woo!
Yeah!
Oh, yeah.
Woo! My Little speed rat.
Woo!
I would have liked to be out
of here off the first hop,
but it's okay. There's still
lots of race left in the day.
We just have to reset
after this, focus,
get to the next challenge
'cause anything can happen.
We'll get back on track.
Oh god, wow.
Yeah, woo!
-Hoo-hoo-hoo.
-Stop, stop, stop, stop.
Yes, okay!
-Oh yeah!
-Woo!
Chuck Ramsay is
gonna be very proud.
My heart is like pounding.
Woo, woo!
-You did that so fast!
-Did I?
-Yeah, you did, ah!
-Let's go, let's go.
Come on, she's got it.
Oh-ho-ho!
I feel so much pressure now,
right, just being last.
Stop, stop, stop!
-She got it.
-Thank you!
"There are three
flights to Tobermory.
First come, first serve."
-Let's go!
-Okay, let's go.
We just left the Canadian Tire
Motorsport Track in last place.
It's 1-1-9-0
Keith Ross Drive.
It's like a flight
centre on that road.
-There's 3 different flights.
-3 flights to Tobermory.
There's the Guru
signup board, I see it.
Ha-ha-ha,
flight number one!
-Let's go, baby!
-We're t.
-Nice, Woo!
-Let's go, baby.
-Alright! Guru time.
-Guru time.
We're on flight number one
going to Tobermory, baby.
-Only team on that flight.
-Yes, let's go.
That's the penthouse.
-Okay
-Ah! What?
Brendan and Connor
got that first flight.
Kind of a bummer that
there's not two teams
on the first flight.
Because Team Franella
failed the challenge,
I'm pretty sure we're gonna
be on the second plane.
Sorry, not sorry.
I think the fastest
way is to 57.
This is our first time ever
in this race being
in last place, and feeling
that pressure.
Every second counts,
especially in this
leg of the race.
The stakes have
never been higher.
We need to be ahead.
You cannot be last
place right now.
-Say what?
-What?
Oh yes, plane number two,
this is marvelous!
We're with Jesse
and Marika. Wow!
-Holy cow.
-I think we're good.
We're on plane number three.
It's the last plane so we
don't feel great about it,
but it's still early in the day,
so we can make up time.
Get there, gotta get,
gotta get- right here. Okay.
Signing up for this
seaplane in last place,
we cannot make
any more mistakes.
There is 0.00001%
margin for error.
All five teams are now
traveling on three separate
float planes that will touch
down 10 minutes apart
on Georgian Bay in
Tobermory, Ontario.
Once they land, teams will
search the town for ??,
where they'll find
their next clue.
"The Numbers Don't Lie."
Here at Fathom Five
National Marine Park,
just below these
crystal-clear waters,
is 22 perfectly
preserved shipwrecks.
Here, in the shipwreck
diving capital of Canada,
these barges, schooners and
steamers sunk due to the
area's notorious weather,
and the shallow,
hidden sandbanks
in the harbour.
Teams will now make their
way to Little Tub Harbour.
Once here, one racer will
have to dive into
the cold waters
of Georgian Bay,
and use these buoys
to guide them to
four famous Tobermory
shipwrecks
known as "The Tugs".
Once they find
their four numbers
corresponding to their
chosen team colour,
they'll need to relay the
information to the teammate,
who must then find
the right combination of
their numbers to unlock
their treasure chest
out of 24 different
possibilities.
Once they crack the code and
find the right combination,
their treasure chest will
open to reveal the key to the
first ever Chevrolet
Equinox RS,
where they'll find
their next clue.
Only one of us can be
in the water at a time.
-Yeah, yellow.
-Okay, I'll go first.
Brendan's going first.
Okay, yell the numbers out
to me as you find them.
-They're gonna be single digit.
-Okay.
Zero to 9. Let's go, dude.
We have to find the
numbers underwater.
The tag's associated to our
colour, so we chose yellow.
And there's four numbers- we
need to unscramble the code.
- 9!
- 9!
This is awesome!
-2!
-2!
Keep going!
Okay, Jesse,
you've got this.
-Let's take this one.
-That's way too dark.
No, blue!
I'm gonna shout
the numbers to you.
Yeah.
-Green'll be easier to see.
-No, not with this.
-Oh right.
-I think this.
We're choosing
purple, purple.
-Like The Color Purple.
-Like The Color Purple.
-This water is so cold.
-Come on, go, Craig.
I'm freezing!
It's entering into my body
from every single place.
-Okay, you can do it.
-Oh my gosh, oh my gosh.
Oh my gosh.
Yell out the numbers
that are purple.
So, Brendan's out
there right now.
He's looking for
numbers right now.
He's given me two of them.
We're, we're yellow.
-5!
-5!
9-2-5-8!
I'm just gonna
write them all out,
the different combinations.
There's 24 different
variations of the numbers.
I have to listen to the
numbers that he's calling out.
There's four numbers.
You've got this, Jesse!
Remember blue.
-8!
-5-2-9
-Try the first one I gave you.
9-2-5-8.
It went 9-2-5-8
from the far side.
Pull down.
What's that backwards?
8-5-2-9.
Ha-ha!
We're here for our treasure!
Ar, we got it, alright!
I was thinking the
orders that I found them,
flipped it backwards
-And reversed it.
-Turned it around.
Put the thing down, flip it and.
Ba-da-boom, ba-da-bing.
-5!
-Was that 5?
I think that was 5.
1-6-8-5.
I'm gonna go 5-8-6-1.
Which one is it?
Lock it.
Here, let's rip and read.
Ready? Right now.
"Face Off."
Teams must now drive the
first ever Chevrolet Equinox RS,
75 kilometres south
to the town of Wiarton,
home of Canada's famous
groundhog, Wiarton Willie.
Willie predicts it's
an early spring!
Once here, they'll
search the town for
Lloyd's Convenience Store and
Pool Hall where they'll play
The Amazing Race Canada
version of snooker.
Yes!
The object of this game is
to score more points
than your opponent by
pocketing the balls that have
specific point value,
from 1 to 7.
Players keep shooting
until they miss
or scratch, which allows
their opponent to place the
cue ball wherever they
want on the table.
The first team to catch a
lucky break and score the
most points will win the
Face Off and
receive their next clue.
The last team at the Face Off
will have to wait out a
predetermined penalty before
they can keep on racing.
Felt good to get
into Georgian Bay.
That's the first swim in
Georgian Bay of the year.
This is crucial for sure,
this Face Off,
like the last leg we
were in with Face Offs,
we came in last.
You've got this, okay.
The colour is the base
of your chest, so red.
I love this!
Beverley is a
certified diver so,
she knows what
she's doing. She's got this,
I'm just dressed
like this for moral support.
-Hi.
-Hi.
This one, green
Yeah, you got it,
Nell, good job.
We are both not
strong swimmers.
Water and Franella
don't mix.
You've got it,
green, green, green!
-You just yell at me.
-Okay.
Go to that one!
He's got three numbers.
-4!
-I got it, come on in!
-Have we done 1-6?
-1-6-5-8.
-Yup, here we go.
-Sick, okay, 1-6-5-8.
-Okay.
-Okay, here we go, take that.
-Okay, let's go, let's go.
-Okay, here we go.
"Face Off." We've got to
take advantage of this.
To potentially take
home a win today.
Catherine, what can
I help you with?
9-3, I'm just
trying to decode it.
You can make all the numbers
for me, and cross them off.
It looks so
beautiful out there,
but I'm confident
that Beverley
is gonna get all of them.
Veronica, 4!
-Got it!
-Got it?
-4!
-Okay!
I can't tell if
Beverley's yelling.
I can't tell if
Nella is yelling.
I don't know who's who.
All the voices are
starting to sound the same,
and I'm hearing
multiple numbers.
-4!
-Okay!
We'd have to go through
every single team
losing pool to not get
out of their first.
-And I love pool.
-Oh, there's the boys.
It's time for a
Face Off, woo!
This is the back room
in Lloyd's Smoke Shop.
-Let's do it.
-Alright.
This pool hall, the outside
looks like convenience store.
Full pool hall in the back.
This is some old school stuff.
Brendan and Connor,
you're breaking.
Sit.
Ball is placed back,
free shot.
1-nothing, Jesse and Marika.
-Veronica?
-What?
4-2-7!
- 3!
- 3 for what?
-What are you talking about?
-What?
-What are you talking about?
-Number 3!
I know, but you gave
me already 5 numbers!
4-1-7-6, and now
you're giving me 3.
-4-2-7-1.
-Yup.
So that was the 3
you found over there.
-Okay.
-So let's try 3-9-5-4.
Yes, good job, Catherine!
Okay, Chevrolet car keys.
Nella, you gave me 7 numbers.
-No, I didn't.
-Or 5 numbers.
I didn't.
-Just keep trying.
-Yeah.
-Yeah, you did!
-My first number was #1.
Your first number was 4.
You yelled 4 at me!
So is it 4?
My first number was number 1.
Well then why did you say 4?
-I didn't.
-You did!
-Maybe it was Beverley.
-No, you said 4.
Well, I don't know what
numbers are right and
what's not, Nella, so you might
have to go back in there.
Like I'm using 4, Nella,
because you said 4.
Okay, I'm going back in!
Nella, relax, please!
Do you want to
give it a shot?
Oh, what?
Ow. Sweet.
We don't know what
the numbers are.
She told me five numbers.
I don't know which
ones to use, so
Cool!
Oh, my god, Face Off.
Amazing, let's go.
We're pretty close behind
Catherine and Craig,
and now we just need
to make our way to
a little town
called Wiarton.
Oh my god, I bet Jesse's
like a pro at snooker.
Oh, I used to go to
the Olympics for pool,
but then I switched to cross
country skiing, after croquet.
-Sick, Jesse!
-Don't, don't, don't, don't.
Ah!
That ball doesn't count.
-Gets placed back.
-What?
No points awarded
and free shot.
Dang it.
That is 8 to 4.
We're on the
ropes right now.
The hard thing in snooker
is it's anyone's game,
right 'til the end.
You can sink lots of balls
at the beginning of the game,
but as long as you can sink a
couple of big balls at the end,
especially that black ball,
you can win.
The point differential,
if Brendan and Connor
score one more ball,
they win.
Get in the pocket.
-Sit! Yes!
-Let's go, baby!
Let's go, baby.
-Good game, guys.
-Let's go, good game.
-Good game, guys.
-Good game, guys.
-Good game.
-Sorry, that was so close.
That's okay, Jesse,
you almost had it.
-Good job, guys!
-There they go, there they go!
"Route Info. Don't lose
your train of thought."
Teams must now drive
themselves over 60 kilometres
to CFB Meaford, home of
the 4th Canadian Division
Training Centre, serving as
the primary training base of
the Canadian Armed
Forces in Ontario.
Here, teams will get a taste
of what it's like to train
with the 4th Canadian
Division of the
Canadian Armed Forces.
Wearing protective equipment and
military issued tactical vest
teams will have to run
through this physically
demanding obstacle course,
under the watchful eyes
of a training officer.
A good soldier
values fairness.
The range safety officers
will be conveying the
4th Canadian Division's seven
critical military values,
which racers must memorize
while they complete
the course.
-A soldier needs integrity
-Loyalty.
-Courage.
-Excellence.
-Responsibility.
-Honesty.
Fairness.
Once they've soldiered
through the course and
recite all seven
values correctly,
Major Wheeler will give
them their next clue.
-Alright, let's do it.
-Let's go.
It looks like we're playing
Catherine and Craig.
I've never played so,
this should be interesting.
There's lots of points
on the table still.
We've just got to
sink a few of these.
-You can't touch any other ball.
-I can't?
Just touch the yellow.
-Good job.
-I did it!
-You did it.
-I did it!
3-nothing.
I'm working with
4-1-7-6 and 3.
That ain't right.
-Nella?
-Yeah?
You might want to go
to the far one first.
Okay!
No 4, no 4, no 4, no 4.
Good job, Nell!
Do 1-7-3-6.
6-1-7-3.
We need to win this first
game of snookers
in order to get out
of last place.
No room for error-
we have to win, Nella.
Yes.
Thanks for having
us today, guys.
-These are great boots.
-Yeah.
Having the opportunity to
get suited up in the
Canadian Forces uniform
is a true honour.
Welcome to the 4th
Canadian Division
Training Centre
obstacle course.
Are you guys ready to
tackle this course?
-Yeah, we're ready.
-Oh yeah.
Now, there's something we
have to say at the end.
Yeah, to the Major.
What do you think
he'll ask us?
-I don't know.
-3, 2, 1, go.
High knees, high knees.
For this challenge,
we have to go through
a Canadian Forces
training course, and then
answer a question at the end,
but we have no idea what
the question is gonna be that
the Major's gonna ask us.
A soldier needs integrity.
Corporal Kwan
starts yelling out
different values in
the Canadian forces.
Let me see your loyalty.
We start to pick up that
we're gonna need to memorize
these words while we're
going through the course.
Integrity and loyalty, Connor.
Integrity and loyalty.
You've got this, Jesse.
15-15.
Tie game, next ball wins.
Argh!
That ball doesn't count.
It gets placed back,
and free shot.
I just lost the game for us.
Congratulations.
-Thank you so much.
-Thank you.
Oh my god, Craig,
that was amazing.
Yeah, I play pool.
-Wow, wow, okay.
-That's okay.
To see Marika be
upset over that loss,
I don't want to
see anyone suffer.
-No, me either.
-It breaks my heart.
-Oh, we meet again, friends.
-Hi.
This time around, ah
This is what this looks like?
Here we are,
third time playing.
Hopefully,
third time's a charm.
Terrible start.
I go to the pool hall
with my boyfriend, so
pretty much,
the game is ours.
Nice.
It's very tense
in this room.
Very tense.
Always strive for excellence.
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, and
and excellence.
This course is physically
and mentally demanding.
Loyalty, courage,
and excellence.
But, if that's what we have to
do to get to the finale
Bring it on.
Integrity, loyalty, courage,
excellence and responsibility.
-A good soldier values fairness.
-Fairness.
In order, what soldier values
have you learned today?
Okay, you try.
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, honesty-
I'm sorry, that answer
was incorrect.
-You'll have to try again.
-Okay, let's do it.
I'll remember
the first three,
and then you
remember the last.
3, 2, 1, go.
Just pace yourself,
pace yourself.
Alright, next one blue,
what do you think?
I'm gonna go over there
into one of these.
I've never seen that
before in my life.
And free shot.
No pressure, but if I shoot
this awkwardly angled
pink ball, then we move on.
I believe in you,
my little pool shark.
Congratulations.
Dude, you totally
carried that.
Is this our leg or
is this our leg?
There's definitely gonna
be another challenge.
And we can do it.
Yeah, okay, focus up.
We showed up in second,
and we really can't afford to
leave in last, at this point.
Jesse, just please, do not get
the white ball in this time.
Yeahl, yeah.
Jesse!
Always strive for excellence.
I got those four.
What soldier values
did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, excellence.
Responsibility,
honesty and fairness.
-Congratulations.
-Let's go, buddy.
-Thank you.
-Appreciate it.
Yeah.
Teams will now make their way
to The Inn at Cobble Beach
and search the 574-acre
resort for the lighthouse
on the 17th hole.
Today, the Cobble Beach
Lighthouse will guide
five teams, as they race for
a spot in the finale of
The Amazing Race Canada.
-Alright, let's do it.
-Let's do it!
We're going to find Jonny boy
at the pit stop mat!
Oh, we're excited alright,
oh, yeah.
Looking like a first place,
but we don't want
to jinx it here.
Pace yourself with this
and breathe.
-Just pay attention, okay?
-Okay.
Go!
-A soldier needs integrity.
-Here we go, integrity.
Reporting for duty.
-Go.
-Woo!
High knees going
through the tires!
Use those arms, Veronica!
Get those knees high!
-I'm good.
-A soldier needs integrity!
-Why is he yelling at us?
-He's so encouraging.
-Let's see your loyalty.
-Loyalty.
-You've gotta have courage.
-Courage.
You've got the first 3,
Catherine?
To memorize these words,
I am saying them to myself.
I have integrity, I have
loyalty, and I have courage!
Integrity, courage.
-Right behind ya.
-Okay.
In order, what soldier
values did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty, courage.
Excellence, responsibility
Honesty
And fairness.
-Congratulations.
-Thank you.
Thank you for your service.
-We're going to the finale.
-We're going to the finale!
Let's get there, though.
-Let's get there.
-Let's get there.
Yeah, baby, bring it home!
In order, what soldier
values did you learn today?
Oh my god, obviously.
We didn't read
the clue properly.
-It was like integrity.
-Show me your loyalty.
Um, show me your loyalty.
You need to try the
obstacle course again.
Okay, let's go for it.
3, 2, 1, go.
A soldier needs integrity!
You've got it, Nella
Yes! Good job.
This Face Off is our moment
to get out of last place.
Sorry, we love you guys,
but we need to win.
Yes, good job!
The score is 13 to 10.
The last ball wins.
Woo! Let's go!
-Congratulations.
-Thank you!
-Thank you!
-Let's go, let's go!
Can we start the
timer like right now?
- Ah!
- Good job, good job!
Talk about pressure!
That's the race,
that's the race for ya, folks.
Please start it now!
Jesse and Marika still have
to wait another 15 minutes.
We know the top three teams
make it to the finale.
-We are in
-4th place.
4th place, so we're
panicking a bit.
We've just got to make sure
we get to Jon on time.
Yeah, someone's
got to go home,
and it's not
gonna be Franella.
I'm so mad right now.
Okay, just be mad,
it suck- this sucks.
That really sucks.
I'm sorry we didn't get it.
Stupid game of pool.
This isn't the
end of us.
We just have to get,
get back ,
let's persevere
-Okay, yeah.
-Get going.
Get the next clue
and get after it.
Yeah.
-Here you guys go.
-Thank you.
-Good luck.
-Okay, let's go.
We have to be top three
today to make sure that
we're there on
the final leg.
We will not give up until
-Until we get to the mat.
-Until we get to the mat.
It's what we've been working
for the whole time, baby.
What we've been working for
this whole time
is to get to that final.
I also want to really thank
this moustache for
guiding us through today.
Bring it in, you guys!
Bring it in!
-Ah!
-Ha!
-Are we glad to see you!
-Hell yeah.
Welcome to the Lighthouse
at Cobble Beach
on the beautiful shores
of Georgian Bay.
Thanks for having us.
Brendan, Connor
You're team number one!
Hey!
First place, baby!
We're back on top!
You've earned your
spot in the finale!
Let's go! Let's go!
As the winners of
this leg of the race,
you've also won a trip for two
to Auckland, New Zealand.
-No way, let's go!
-Yeah!
And to bump it up just
a little bit more,
a $3500 Marshalls gift card.
Having a first place finish
rolling into the finale,
kind of gives you that
extra bit of confidence.
We'll see you at the
next and final mat.
-Thanks, thank you.
-Take care.
We're back in our pocket!
A soldier needs integrity!
Next one.
Let me see your loyalty!
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, excellence.
Oh, yeah, 10, hup!
I can't believe I'm
doing this because
I'm not physically fit.
3, 2, 1, go.
Come on, Franca,
you've got it.
We have to memorize something.
-A soldier has integrity.
-Yeah, we have integrity!
You've gotta have loyalty.
A soldier has
integrity and loyalty!
Good work, Franca!
I'm eating mud.
A soldier has
integrity and loyalty.
- Yes!
- Loyalty
Okay, let's do this.
Every team is ahead
of us right now.
Franca and Nella are
right in front of us here.
I see Beverley and
Veronica further down.
Headed for excellence.
So we have to get it
right the first time.
3, 2, 1, go.
-Okay, let's go, Riki!
-A soldier needs integrity.
-Integrity.
-Integrity!
-Let's see your loyalty.
-Integrity, loyalty.
A good soldier values fairness!
-Responsibility
-Courage.
Wait, wait,
responsibility, loyalty.
What was the last one?
What soldier values
did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty, courage
Ah, and
Sorry, that's incorrect.
You have to do
the course again.
-V!
-My brain, I'm trying!
It's okay, let's go.
-This is 10th.
-This is 10th?
-Okay, sorry.
-That's okay.
Right on 10th.
We need to stop and ask.
I don't think we've ever
done anything
more stressful than this race.
-No.
Excuse me, we're looking
for Cobble Beach.
-Do you have a cell phone?
-Yeah.
Can you put it
into there, please?
-Yeah, we're in a big race.
-Cobble Beach.
Make a right on
2nd Avenue West,
and we go for 12
kilometres on that.
There's a big golf course, it
says Cobble Beach Golf Course.
Awesome, thank you so much.
-Thank you so much.
-Really appreciate you.
-Thank you.
-Let's go!
A good soldier
values fairness.
Integrity, loyalty, courage
Come on, Franca, hurry!
What soldier values
did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty, courage,
strives for excellence
And responsibility,
honesty and fairness.
I love you, I love you.
-Thank you, thank you.
-Congratulations.
-Let's get out of here.
-Let's go.
-Yeah, we've got to go.
-We left two teams behind.
-Who was there?
-Beverley and Veronica.
And we left Jesse and Marika,
so we've got to go!
-We're going to see Jon!
-We're gonna be in the race!
-I'm so proud of you, Franca!
-We're 3!
-You've got this.
-Courage
Nice work, let's go.
Go, go, go, go, nice.
-Excellence.
-Responsibility.
Honesty, fairness.
-Is that the right one?
-Yeah, yeah.
I thought fairness
was the sixth.
Approach the Major,
we have to-
I thought fairness
was the sixth.
No, fairness is the last one.
Whatever you think.
Integrity, loyalty, courage,
excellence,
responsibility
Honesty, fairness.
-Oh, thank you!
-Congratulations.
"Drive yourselves to
Cobble Beach and search the
shoreline on foot for the
lighthouse and Jon
at your next pitstop."
Okay, let's go.
We think it could be
a double elimination.
We just have to hope people
make a mistake on the road.
I just hope that we
can run that last leg.
What soldier values
did you learn today?
Integrity, loyalty,
courage, excellence
Responsibility, honesty,
fairness. I'm so sorry.
-Congratulations.
-Thank you.
We're only like
20 minutes behind, so
I'm looking for
a golf course.
Making sure that we're on
the right side of the water.
We have to be on the
other side of the water.
Can we ask you a question?
We're looking
for Cobble Beach.
Around the bend,
it's on your left.
Okay, where the
golf links are.
-Okay, thank you!
-We went too far.
-Yeah.
-We got it, we got it.
-Yeah.
-We've got this, okay?
Okay.
I need to see if I
can see a lighthouse.
It's really hard to see.
-There's a lighthouse.
-Yes, yes.
A lighthouse, that way,
this way!
-This way!
-What do you mean?
Let's just go.
Let's go to the mat, Riki.
Let's go,
let's go, let's go.
Woo!
-Oof!
-Oh my gosh.
- There he is!
- Yes!
Who is that?
That's Catherine and Craig.
Oh gosh.
Hi, guys.
Catherine, Craig
Jesse, Marika
You're teams number
Two and three.
How did that happen?
Oh, my gosh!
Everyone has just earned a
spot on the final leg of
The Amazing Race Canada.
-It sounds unbelievable.
-I know, it sounds amazing.
Yeah, considering
how our day went,
it honestly sounds
unbelievable.
One more leg on The
Amazing Race Canada.
We'll see you at
that final mat.
-Hi, Jon.
-Hi, Jon.
Franca, Nella
You're team number four.
As you know, we've only ever
had three teams
on the final
leg of the race.
Okay.
But this year,
we're taking four.
We did it.
Ladies, you have a shot to
win The Amazing Race Canada.
-What's Mama thinking?
-She's so proud.
We're gonna win because
we just think about
our mom's strength,
and she's with us,
and she raised really
strong women.
We've beat all of these
teams before, twice,
and third time's
a charm, Jon.
No holds barred
on that final leg?
No holds barred.
-Promise?
-Promise!
Franella, we'll see
you at that final mat.
I'm fine, yeah, no, I'm fine.
This is like what makes me sad
when I watch The Amazing Race,
and people are driving at night,
and they're like
Last.
Oh, my god, thank you so
much for waiting for us.
Oh my god.
Beverley, Veronica, you are
the last team to arrive.
-We know, we know.
-Wow.
I am sorry to tell you this,
but you've been eliminated
from the race.
We're like
mentally exhausted,
physically exhausted.
We put everything
that we had out there.
We made it to the 10th leg.
That is unbelievable, and I
know that this race would
not have been half as fun
with anybody else.
Our friendship has just
surpassed anything
we thought possible.
You've been shining
examples on how to run
The Amazing Race Canada
with honour and dignity.
-And integrity.
-And integrity.
-And loyalty.
-And loyalty.
Beverley and Veronica,
your energy is infectious,
and I wish you all the best.
-Thanks.
-You too.
-Thank you so much.
-We crushed it.
-I'm so proud of us.
We did it together.
Next time, on the
season finale of
The Amazing Race Canada,
for the first time ever in
Amazing Race Canada history
We're very excited!
four teams
plunge into battle.
Let's go, baby!
-Whoa!
-Yay!
You've got it!
We're here to play.
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go!
-You've got it!
-Geez, this is hard.
This is the most
important day.
I'm so frustrated.
I know, I'm,
I'm frustrated too.
The stakes are high.
Eee!
Everything counts
during this finale.
-Yeah!
-No!
No, no, no, no!
You need to go faster!
It's a fight to the finish.
Jesse!
And the gloves are off.
Don't get
frustrated, please.
It's winner take all.
-Whoa!
-Welcome to the Franale Show.
Woop-woop!
