At that time, i probably looked Kind of feminine 'cause i was Wearing a lot of make-up.
I looked crazy.
For my solo this year, i'm Really just trying to show them That i can dance in a masculine Manner.

Hey, man, you said i wasn't Popping, baby.
I don't appreciate that.
You've just been rude to me, So you don't take criticism.
I'm on national tv arguing With nigel lythgoe.
Think i give a ? I'm right here right now.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, No, no.
Welcome back to So you think you can dance, Where one dragon house dancer Has already been sent straight To callbacks.
Fellow crew member branden "sideshow" feimster, was hoping He could still be the Main attraction.
I'm one of the dragons That doesn't animate.
I couldn't hit when i first got Into dragon house, And everybody made fun of me.
So i picked up another style.
I'm a funk style dancer, and Funk style means legit Popping and locking.
I like to be the funky guy, The fun guy, the guy who's got The smile on his face.
I don't want to be like All day.
I want to be like, "what's up, Guys? I'm sideshow.
" I literally am a cartoon, And i belong in the circus.
I'm gonna get up onstage, and Later, like, i'm just gonna Tear a hole so hard that They're gonna be like, "yeah, give this kid a ticket.
Actually, yeah, give him A ticket.

Great to see you all as well.
Thank you very much, sir.
I love the hat.
Thank you.
thank you.
It's my trademark.
I don't leave the house Without it.
Yeah.
what's your name? My name is sideshow.
Sideshow.
Yes.
How old are you, sideshow? I'm 22.
And where are you from? Detroit, michigan.
Detroit.
What style of dance do you Do? I do true pop locking.
True pop locking.
The real pop locking.
The funk, baby.
The funk, okay.
You know what's up.
And-- I'm all day.
And-- I can see that.
And how long have you been Doing that? How long i been doing this? My whole life.
I've been dancing in my mama's Belly since i was three months.
That's right.
She was a bartender.
I danced in her belly In my stomach.
To the beat of the drums.
Kicked so hard that people Would be like, "is that your Baby?" They thought i was possessed.
My mother and my grandmother Are right here, right now.
I have not had a car since I started working when i was 16, But i'm right here, right now To prove that we can do this.
Hold on.
So i don't want to talk No more, nigel.
I want to dance.
Whoa! Tell 'em! tell 'em! Tell 'em! Just went-- Took a turn.
Start it up, branden! And cue music.
? ?everybody get up ?whoo ?everybody get up ?hey hey hey ?whoo Turn it up.
?if you can't hear ?what i'm trying to say ?if you can't read ?from the same page ?maybe i'm going deaf ?maybe i'm going blind ?maybe i'm out of my mind ?okay, now he was close ?tried to domesticate you ?but you're an animal ?baby, it's in your nature ?just let me liberate you ?you don't need no papers ?that man is not your maker ?and that's why i'ma take ?a good girl ?i know you want it ?you're a good girl ?can't let it get past me ?you're far from plastic ?talk about getting blasted Okay, thank you.
All right.
Um, i was-- He said he was doing The original pop lock, though.
I missed the original pop lock.
I didn't-- Yeah, it says pop locking.
Okay, um You said you were gonna do some Original pop locking, and yet That was an awful lot More pantomiming going on there.
Well, miming is popping, sir.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, No, no.
I learned from a few guys.
No, no, hold on, hold on.
Pop locking is totally different From what you were doing.
I understand that, Mr.
lythgoe.
Yeah? I mean, suga pop was never Doing things like that.
They were--they were-- That's my style, though.
They were--huh? That's my style.
Yeah, no, i understand-- I'm not gonna look like A suga pop.
I understand that.
But you said you were doing Original pop locking.
That is original, authentic Pop locking with my twist on it.
I was looking to see your Original pop locking, And i didn't see it.
I got you.
Now, knowing that we didn't See that, i think you're quite A good dancer.
You're a fun character.
Thank you.
I still think i need more, But i did enjoy it.
Thank you.
That's all i wanted anyway, Was for you to enjoy it, Not nigel.
Oh, thank you.
Hey, man, you said i wasn't Popping, baby.
I don't appreciate that.
I'm sorry? You said i wasn't pop And locking, man.
That--that's not cool.
'cause that hurts my feelings When you tell me i'm not doing Something that i learned.
That hurts my soul.
So if that's not pop locking, I don't know what is, because It's what you do with your own Style-- I think--i think in the Beginning, when he asked your Style, you should have just Let it be known that you do your Own twist on pop locking instead Of just telling him you do Original pop locking, because I just didn't see too much Pop locking, but-- There wasn't one lock That i saw there.
I understand that.
Sorry.
go ahead.
Yeah, but you're very-- I mean, everything was Entertaining.
I love your character.
I understand that.
I love the hat.
I mean, that's my favorite hat.
I take it in stride.
It's constructive criticism, And i take it well.
No, you don't.
I do.
You don't.
You've just been rude to me, so You don't take criticism at all.
All right, okay.
So it's a no for me today.
I'm sorry.
Sorry, branden, it's a no For me.
It's okay.
Yeah, i'm sorry, man.
You're a good dancer.
Hey! Shh! It's a shame.
Dragon house is such A good house.
We are so sorry on his Behalf.
Sorry.

?i can turn it on I was about 15 when that Happened, and it was really-- It really tore our family apart Because it was, you know, a Really traumatic situation.
She's definitely a different Person.
I know a part of her isn't Here anymore.

My mother needed to be taken Care of instead of her taking Care of us.
What led to her stroke was that There was--there's a hole in her Heart that some people are Born with.
So my sister and i got checked, And i happen to have The same hole.
?but i'm only human ?and i bleed when i fall down It really keeps me going, Understanding that it's Important to take every day Seriously.

No, you don't.

?i can turn it on I was about 15 when that Happened, and it was really-- It really tore our family apart Because it was, you know, a Really traumatic situation.
She's definitely a different Person.
I know a part of her isn't Here anymore.
?the weight of worlds Has it changed your life? It really did.
