(CHEERING) This is Britain's Got Talent.
Please welcome your hosts, Anthony McPartlin And Declan Donnelly! # Let's go on with the show # (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Thank you, ladies.
Hello! (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Thank you.
Ah, you're lovely.
Hello, and welcome to our brand-new home and the start of live semi-final week on Britain's Got Talent! (CHEERING) Yes, after seven weeks of unforgettable auditions, we've now got 40 brilliant acts all hoping they can make it to Sunday night's final and win one of the biggest prizes on TV - £250,000 and a spot on the bill at The Royal Variety Performance.
(CHEERING) Good prize! And And we're also making Britain's Got Talent history this year because for the first time ever, you and you alone will decide which acts make it to the final.
The power is in your hands.
The judges have no say in who goes through and who goes home.
Talking of the judges, let's say hello to the awesome foursome who chose every single one of this week's acts.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's your Britain's Got Talent judges! We've got Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
(CHEERING) And Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell.
(CHEERING) Hello! Hiya.
He's fine, David, he's fine.
Welcome Good to see you all.
.
.
to semi-final week, judges.
You're all looking lovely.
Let's have a little chat with you and find out what you've been up to.
Simon, it's all down to the public this year.
Thank God.
/f They'll choose who goes through.
As you've done this job for years, what advice have you got for our people at home? Think with your hearts and do what we would do.
By the way, I am really, really happy we are not the ones making the decision this year.
You're happy it's the public? 100%.
We get so much grief when it's us.
(LAUGHTER) David, you dropped your trousers on Saturday night's show.
(CHEERING) (WOLF-WHISTLES) Can we expect any more cheek from you this evening? Definitely not.
And it's wonderful to be back with the three people that I love most in the world.
You little liar.
Not Rita Ora? (LAUGHTER) Not Rita? (LAUGHS) What a liar.
Alesha, what do you think of the new place? This is gorgeous, isn't it? It's beautiful.
It feels cosier, actually.
It's like a theatre.
A proper theatre.
It was a lot cheaper than the other place.
It was.
We got it for a song.
Amanda, you wanted a magician to win last year and a magician won.
You'd like a comedian to win this year.
Can a comedian win it? I really hope it does, because I'd prefer variety to win this show cos it's Britain's Got Talent, it's a variety show.
We shall see.
Thank you, judges.
Your judges, ladies and gentlemen.
Let's get going with the live semi-final.
Yes, all right.
Now then, our first act tonight is a choir of small children with great voices who all wear matching green V-neck jumpers.
I don't even know where you get green V-neck jumpers in extra small.
Your wardrobe.
Shut your face.
(LAUGHTER) It's The St Patrick's Junior Choir Drumgreenagh.
We are St Patrick's Junior Choir and we are from Northern Ireland.
St Patrick's School in Drumgreenagh is a very small school made up of 76 pupils.
The choir has 39 members and is run by Miss McCaughey.
Remember, take a good, deep breath.
I love teaching the children.
They have a lot of fun together.
It brings out the best in every child.
What I love in the choir is we are friends.
I think Bobby's a wee bit naughty.
We all like to be a wee bit naughty.
I think Connor's the annoyingest.
Yous two are good friends, though.
I know.
(LAUGHS) Where are you all from? County Down.
County Down.
Yes.
On our audition day, I saw Ant and Dec, but I tried to calm myself down so I wouldn't get hyper on stage.
# Oh, simple thing # Where have you gone? # (CHEERING) In our audition, everyone was cheering.
It was like a dream come true.
Every single one of you sang with so much passion.
You've done a wonderful job with them.
The pressure's really on tonight after such a wonderful audition.
If we won Britain's Got Talent, we would probably buy a pet shark.
(LAUGHTER) (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) (MUSIC INTRO) (MUSIC CONTINUES FOR TOO LONG) Yeah, come on.
Two secs.
Two secs.
(MUSIC STOPS) Everything OK? We're gonna just stop it there.
(TAPE PLAYS) Hold on, hold on.
Technical problems.
Our first act of the semi-final.
SIMON: That didn't take long! (LAUGHTER) It's a new set.
It's a new studio.
There's still work Are we ready? Are we ready backstage? Hang fire, kids.
Are you all OK? ALL: Yes.
They're ready for anything.
Are you ready to go again? Yes.
Let's give them a massive round of applause.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Let's start again.
St Patrick's.
Good luck.
(MUSIC INTRO) # I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath # Scared to rock the boat and make a mess # So I sat quietly, agreed politely # I guess that I forgot I had a choice # I let you push me past the breaking point # I stood for nothing # So I fell for everything # You held me down, but I got up # Already brushing off the dust # You hear my voice, you hear that sound # Like thunder gonna shake the ground # You held me down, but I got up Hey! # Get ready cos I've had enough # I see it all, I see it now # I got the eye of the tiger # A fighter, dancing through the fire # Cos I am a champion # And you're gonna hear me roar # Louder, louder than a lion # Cos I am a champion # And you're gonna hear me roar # You held me down but I got up # Get ready cos I've had enough # I see it all, I see it now # I got the eye of the tiger # A fighter, dancing through the fire # Cos I am a champion # And you're gonna hear me roar # Louder, louder than a lion # Cos I am a champion # And you're gonna hear me roar # Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh # Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh # Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh # You're gonna hear me # Roar # (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) (WHISTLING AND CHEERING) Well done.
Well done.
Well done, everybody.
Well done.
We'll cross to the judges.
Bit of a sound issue there - they couldn't hear the track so we let them start again.
David, what did you make of that? I thought it was fantastic, and well recovered from that hitch, cos those things can throw people.
But it didn't throw you at all.
And a choir like this only works if every single one of you is giving 100% and singing with passion, and you all were.
And it's fantastic to hear kids singing a song as a choir that they would actually WAN to sing.
So well done.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Yeah, you guys were first out and that is never easy.
I can't imagine how nervous you all must feel.
But I looked at every one of your faces and you looked like you were having the time of your lives.
That was a fantastic performance.
Great song choice, like David said.
You should all be so proud.
You should be extremely proud of them.
Well done.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Absolutely.
You did a great job.
You represented your school beautifully and, of course, Ireland.
And I loved the song choice.
Brilliant.
The actions were fantastic.
Honestly, it felt joyful and hopeful, and in the light of absolutely all the trauma we've been through over the last week or so, you were a b Well done.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Simon.
You know, what was making me laugh is that I know the chaos that was going up in the gallery, where they direct the show, when this was going wrong.
And you were like so calm.
"This is normal, we'll start again.
" First half was kind of like you were getting your groove, second half was when you got your confidence, the choreography, you sounded amazing.
You know what I love? I love your personalities individually, and that's what makes this choir special.
Congratulations.
Thank you, judges.
Well done.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Give us one big roar.
(ROARS) Well, you deserve it.
Listen, it's all down to you at home this year, and if St Patrick's Junior Choir Drumgreenagh is your choice for the final, the number to call from a landline is: But not yet - the vote doesn't open till we've seen all eight acts.
One more time, ladies and gentlemen, St Patrick's Junior Choir Drumgreenagh.
# I've got the eye of the tiger # And you're gonna hear me roar # (APPLAUSE) Ohh! They handled it like professionals.
It was so good.
You might haven noticed a cheeky little reference to the BGT app.
I know what you're all thinking at home - "I'm enjoying the show, Dec, and your friend Ant there, but how can I make buzz predictions, get backstage news and gossip plus the BGT buzzometer? Good question, viewers.
Glad you asked.
Well, download that Britain's Got Talent app.
It's sponsored by AO.
com and free on your tablet or Smartphone.
Then you'll have your answer.
Get involved.
Time for a quick break now, but we'll be right back with PC Dan.
See you for that in a few minutes.
(CHEERING) (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Welcome back to the first semi-final of the week on Britain's Got Talent.
Eight fantastic acts, viewers deciding their fate, and holding it all together, two Geordie idiots.
Can't wait to meet them.
Next up tonight is a dancing policeman from Surrey.
We saw him in rehearsals and he said when it came to introducing him we didn't really have to say anything.
But anything we did say might be taken down and used in evidence against us.
He's a stickler for the rules.
It's PC Dan.
I'm PC Dan Graham.
I'm 33 years old and I'm from Surrey.
Kilo 2-2, receiving.
Being on Britain's Got Talent is a great way for me to show that there is a human behind the uniform.
Police officers are fun.
We are normal.
We have hobbies, and mine is dancing.
On the day of my audition, I was so nervous.
I was just eager to get out there and just have fun.
# Have a good time out there # (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) # WILL SMITH: Gettin' Jiggy With It You are a brilliant entertainer and the audience loved you.
(CHEERING) And I like you too.
Well done.
It was really overwhelming.
Since the audition, the general public have been really supportive and encouraging.
I love being a police officer.
When I'm out in the community, it can be really rewarding because you are helping people .
.
with directions.
(LAUGHTER) # Gettin' jiggy with it # I am desperate to get to the final.
I want to make my community and my colleagues proud.
I can't wait for tonight.
I'm gonna go out there and give it my all.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) (MUSIC PLAYS) # CHRIS BROWN: Girl I Want To See You Tonight # Girl I wanna yeah, yeah, yeah # I wanna see you tonight yeah, yeah, yeah # Girl I gotta yeah, yeah, yeah I gotta see you tonight # Oh, oh, oh whoa # Let me see your hands # Oh oh, oh whoa oh oh # Tonight is the night # You can't stop the tears from falling down # Give me your love # I need it # Give me your heart # I'm bleeding # Give me your love # I need it # Oh, yes # Why don't you give me your love? # Why don't you give me your love? # Why don't you give me your love? # (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) (WHISTLING AND CHEERING) Awright? (LAUGHS) Well done.
Take a breath.
Get your breath.
Alesha, we'll start with you.
Oh, Dan, if only all policemen could be like you.
Could you imagine getting stopped by someone like you and then you bust out some moves? Have you inspired any of your colleagues to take up street dance? That's gonna take some work, but I'm getting to it, yeah.
Do you know what? You are amazing.
You're such a charismatic guy.
You did a great job.
You owned the stage.
Well done.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Yeah, I think you said it yourself on the audition - what's really refreshing, apart from the fact that you're a good dancer, is that behind the uniform there is a hot bobby who can th You really moved up there.
You used the stage.
Is that one of your genuine colleagues? Yes.
Yes! I wondered.
She volunteered.
Thank you very much.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Good work.
But it's true.
Behind the uniform there is a human being.
You did a great job.
Well done.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) I've got to be honest with you, Dan, when I watched that first audition back, I was thinking "What have we done? And what are you gonna do going into the finals?" Um, I don't know if this is gonna win or not, but you actually turned something which was not very good the first time into something much better this time.
I thought the whole staging (AUDIENCE JEERS) I'm being nice! This is a compliment.
No, I think from where you started to where you are now, this was so much better.
Because you must have had so much stick with the people you work with.
Er, believe it or not, they're all behind me.
They appreciate my goal, my aim, and they're backing me all the way.
(APPLAUSE) It's a new thing for the police and they've been behind me.
For a lot of reasons, this is good for you.
I'm glad you've made the finals.
Congratulations.
Just quickly, David.
Who knew you were so skilled with balls as well? I had absolutely no idea.
Fantastic.
You're a great advertisement for the police service.
And all I can say is: arrest me now.
(LAUGHTER) Er, well done, Dan.
Hot bobby? I think that one might stick.
I'll take it.
Hot bobby! To get behind PC Dan tonight, call But not yet.
The vote doesn't open till the end of the show.
One more time, let's hear it for PC Dan! (APPLAUSE) Stop it, you! Stop it.
Time for a break.
We'll be right back with Niels Harder and Kyle Tomlinson.
We'll see you after a few minutes.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Welcome back to the start of semi-final week on Britain's Got Talent, where your votes and your votes alone decide who wins those two coveted places in this year's final.
We're here with some of tonight's acts and can I just say it's nice to be finally standing next to some decent talent on the telly.
Yeah! Hi, guys.
Next up tonight is a crazy Dutch magician whose audition involved putting my head into a guillotine.
I've never been so scared.
It was funny, though.
Funniest thing I've seen in a long time.
Which poor idiot's been roped into helping him out tonight? (CHUCKLES) It's not, is it? Yes it is! It's Niels Harder.
Cra-a-a-a-a-a-a-zy! My name is Niels Harder.
I'm 26 years old, I'm from Amsterdam, and I'm a crazy magician.
Yeee-aaah! Cra-a-a-a-a-zy! Yes! I love you! Mwah! Hey, baby! When I was six years old, I fell in love with magic.
When I perform it's crazy, bonkers, and a lot of do-do-do-do-do-rargh! I mean to win Britain's Got Talent and perform for the Royal Family.
So, hello! I'm here! Britain, are you ready? My audition was very scary.
I thought: are they gonna hate me? (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) The British audience embraced me.
Thank you so much.
Ha! Simon was the only judge who was not standing, so Simon, watch out, I'm going to impress you.
Rargh! Tonight, fasten your seatbelt.
Because it's gonna be bigger, better and more craziness.
(CRIES OUT) (HEARTBEAT) No! No! No! (YELLING) Great Britain, it feels so good to be back! (CHEERING) Are you ready to party? Simon, are you ready? Because we are going to party! BEYONCE: Crazy In Love Come on! Stop! (MUSIC STOPS) (RHYTHMIC BEAT) Are you ready? Let's go! Oh! Amanda, no! Oh! Oh, baby! Oh! Yeah! Come on! (DANCE MUSIC STARTS) Wait a sec! Is my hair OK? Simon, is my hair OK? (BUZZER) No, no, no! Dec, come here.
I use you.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the power of magic.
Look at it.
And magic.
Apple.
Sharp.
Sharp.
There.
OK, Great Britain (OMINOUS DRUM BEAT) .
.
are you ready to party? (CHEERING) Here we go! Oh, my God! (SCREAMING AND CHEERING) Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Go Yeah! (WILD CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Oh! Thank you for not killing my friend.
Erm Amanda? Yes, well, I have no words, really.
Except I bet Steve Mulhern thought he was in with a good chance to take font colo Forever! It was a lot of fun.
You're kind of a cross between like Beyonce and Christopher Biggins.
(LAUGHTER) You probably don't know who Christopher Biggins is but I love him.
It was a lot of fun.
I think I preferred your audition if font co Oh! Simon.
Well, I think it's quite clear how I felt.
Niels, I like you.
I thought the act was a nightmare.
I really did.
I just didn't (BOOING) I didn't understand it.
I didn't know what was going on with the crazy singers, erm, the dancing.
It was just a total, utter mess (JEERING) It was a beautiful mess! And I loved it.
(CHEERING) And Dec, you found something you can do in the future.
You could be the new Debbie McGee.
(LAUGHTER) Thank you.
There's always the fallback option.
I have to say, Niels, out of all the acts tonight, you are the one I was actually most looking forward to seeing.
But I was a little bit disappointed.
However, I still love you.
You're bonkers, you are an eccentric and you should embrace that.
I love you! I do love you.
You've got to teach the ground, you've got to feel the air, move your body, baby! That's why we love you.
And what you've got to remember is in the first audition which you loved, it was me.
Second audition It was you.
Might have something to do with it.
Might have let you down.
But if Niels Harder is your choice then call - Remember, voting doesn't open until the last act has performed.
One more time, Niels Harder.
I love you! (CHEERING) Off you go.
Off you go Thank you, Niels.
(LAUGHS) Enough of that.
Next up is a singer who first auditioned for us three font color= and received some very harsh comments from David Walliams.
(BOOING) Yes, it was like having another Simon Cowell and that's the last thing the world needs, two Simon Cowells.
There's barely room for one.
But three years on, David has changed his tune and he made him his Golden Buzzer act.
It's Kyle Tomlinson.
(CHEERING) I'm Kyle Tomlinson, I'm 15 and I'm a singer from Sheffield.
I live with my mum and my dad.
I first auditioned for Britain's Got Talent in 2015.
I think you need to go away and work with a singing teacher or something.
I'm sorry, today it's a no.
Coming back to Britain's Got Talent, I was more scared than ever.
I never thought I'd be in the semi-finals.
(SINGS NOTE) When David pressed the Golden Buzzer I was like, "What? What's happening?" I just cried.
(LAUGHS) I felt really overwhelmed.
I'm really glad you came back and proved me wrong.
Thank yo When I first auditioned for Britain's Got Talent I don't think I was ready.
It were right what David said.
I practice every day singing in my house, I've done singing lessons for three years.
I want to do this for the rest of my life.
My dad was singing the pubs and clubs and that had a massive impact on me.
I like to perform anywhere.
Karaoke, school, every Sunday at my local pub but I really want to be a worldwide recording artist.
When I start singing, it's like I get filled up with electricity.
I do love singing, I really do.
I've got a lot of pressure tonight to deliver.
I really, really, really, REALLY want to get to the final.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) # Everybody loves the things you do # From the way you talk # To the way you move # I've been by myself all night long # Hoping you're someone I used to know # You look like a movie # You sound like a song # My God, this reminds me # Of when we were young # Let me photograph you in this light # In case it is the light time # That we might be exactly like we were # Before we realised # We were sad of getting old # It made us restless # It was just like a movie # It was just like a song # And a part of me keeps holding on # Just in case it hasn't gone # I guess I still care # Do you still care? # It was just like a movie # It was just like a song # My God, this reminds me # Of when we were young # Let me photograph you in this light # In case it is the last time # That we might be exactly like we were # Before we realised we were sad of getting old # It made us restless # It was just like a movie # It was just like a song # When we were young # (WILD CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) You enjoyed that, didn't you? Well done.
Come here.
Well done, pal.
Well done.
David, your Golden Buzzer act.
I'm just so proud of you.
That was an astonishing performance.
Utterly brilliant.
And so emotional, I've got tears in my eyes.
And the journey you've been on through this show in the last few font color="#1 you know, I was the bad guy.
But maybe I gave you some good advice because this was world-class.
Fantastic.
(WILD CHEERING) Thank you, David.
David's emotional! Alesha? Amazing comeback, to come back three years later and stand up there, that was so much stronger than your audition which I loved.
And like David said, it was from the heart.
It was genuine.
We couldn't ask for anything more.
You smashed it.
Well done.
(CHEERING) I mean, you really did.
I mean, Adele is a huge person to follow and I bet if she's watching she thinks that was an amazing performance.
You growing up in the background was heartbreaking about how fast time goes, I bet.
Erm, honestly, it was so emotional and beautifully, beautifully sung.
Incredible.
You're ready to go, whether you win or not.
(WILD CHEERING) Er, Kyle, bearing in mind how awful David was to you three years ago .
.
could have broken your confidence.
But look, you were good when we saw you on the audition.
I'm gonna be honest with you, I wasn't sure what to expect of you tonight.
You absolutely amazed me with the song.
(WILD CHEERING) You did.
Kyle, was this your choice? You chose the song? Erm, my granddad - Use your microphone.
My granddad, he's in hospital, erm, and I really wanted to dedicate that one to him, really.
Well, good for you.
(CHEERING) Kyle, I I sunk my eyes at one point during the song so I could actually listen and concentrate on your vocal.
And it's like the guys said, this is a really tough song to sing.
The fact that you chose it yourself .
.
and as I said, after the way David treated you, to come back tonight, this is a big deal and I'm really, really happy font color You did great.
Thank you, Simon.
Well done, Kyle.
(CHEERING) Remember, you decide which two acts make it to our final.
If you think Kyle Tomlinson is one of them - But not till we've seen the last act.
One more time, Kyle Tomlinson! (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Very good.
Time for a break, but don't go anywhere because we've got Empire and DNA coming right up.
We'll see you in a few minutes.
(CHEERING) (CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Welcome back to Britain's Got Talent and the first semi-final of the week full of fantastic acts.
Next up tonight is a massive crew of talented dancers who said they wouldn't be here without their coach.
Yes.
Well, there's 27 of them - they wouldn't fit in a taxi.
He's right, he's right.
It's Empire Dance Crew.
We are Empire, we're a dance crew based in London.
Empire's been around for a year now and we are made up of 17 members.
We are from different backgrounds.
From Portugal, Italy, Canada, UK.
When I was 16 I decided to come to London.
I went on tour with Little Mix for three years so with my experience I decided to put this group together.
Having four yeses from the judges was a dream come true.
I can tell how much you've put into this.
I thought it was really, really good.
Ricardo comes up with all the choreography.
He pushes us so hard.
When we are in rehearsals we're like, "We're tired, but we're going to go on one more time.
" The level of dance acts on Britain's Got Talent is always so high.
But there hasn't been a dance crew that's gone as far as Diversity did eight years ago.
We hope to be bigger than Diversity.
We want to win the show, be a professional crew and have our own worldwide tour.
Tonight's performance, cos it's live, got no time for mistakes.
If we could win Britain's Got Talent that would be a dream come true.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) # Look at all the hate they keep on showing # I don't want to see that # Look at all the stones they keep on throwing # I don't want to feel that # I have broken down walls # I defined, I designed # My recovery # Ready or not, here I come, you can't hide # I play my enemies like a game of chess # Where I rest, no stress # I must confess, my destiny's manifest # In some Goretex and sweats I make tracks like I'm homeless (LATIN RHYTHM) # We got way too much in common # If I'm being honest # We got way too much in common # Who wants to love somebody like me? # Lord, forgive me, I've been running # Running blind in truth # I'ma wade, I'ma wade through your shallow love # Tell the deep I'm new # I'm telling these tears to fall away, fall away # Oh # The last one burning into flames # Freedom, freedom, I can't move # Freedom, cut me loose # Freedom, freedom, where are you? (DRUMBEAT) I'ma keep running cos a winner don't quit on themselves (WILD CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Well done, guys.
Well done.
David? Me? David, yes.
This is very much my department, street dance.
Er, it was fantastic.
You're all brilliant dancers, you told a bit of a story.
I'm not exactly sure what it was.
Erm (LAUGHTER) But I really, really enjoyed it and it was really cool as well.
I thought, "What am I doing here?" This show's become incredibly cool.
Well done, guys.
You did a brilliant job.
Ten out of ten for the song choices, they were absolutely fantastic.
That was a really focused, powerful performance and your passion is infectious.
And that's what's gonna get you through in life.
Brilliant, well font color="# Yes! I feel a bit like David cos I've started listening to Radio 1 now so I feel a bit cooler.
I feel like I understand what all the music was about.
There was a lot of anger there, but it was kind of channelled into, "Do you know what? We're gonna show you everything we can do in this two minutes.
" And you did.
It was fantastic.
Well done.
(CHEERING) Er, there's no question or doubt you're very talented.
I think you missed a real opportunity tonight, though, guys because where this is different to Diversity is that no-one stood out.
And I didn't feel that this was a bespoke performance for a show like font color where you could have done something, where we're gonna remember something we've never seen before.
And that's where I think it was a bit to me, it was a bit font color="#11FF1 and I think, like I said, based on your talent I think you've missed a real opportunity tonight, guys.
Sorry.
(BOOING) OK, thank you, judges.
Mixed thoughts there, but it's up to you, remember.
To see Empire in the final, you have to call - Voting doesn't open till the end of the show.
One more time - Empire! Well done, guys.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Right.
Next up - We're over here.
Oh, we're over here, we're over here.
Get over here, you! Next up tonight, are a mind-reading double act.
Get ready to have your mind blown.
It's DNA.
I'm Andrew.
I'm Darren.
And we are DNA.
When we met six years ago, we had the idea to do something nobody else in the world was doing.
Look at this person's last three digits of their phone number.
Just say this person's name in your mind.
We read people's minds directly.
In a loud, clear voice, whose number is this? My sister, Debbie.
That's what I've got.
We created and perform something known as the gift.
We're the only people in the world that do it.
We know with what we perform it really freaks people out.
We'd like you to both think of somebody famous.
You thought of Harry Potter.
Oh, my God! No, that's that's weird.
Last year, a magician won Britain's Got Talent and it's been incredible for magic.
I feel what we do is different and I feel like it's gonna be a new experience for the audience at home.
The prize of the Royal Variety, there's no bigger goal than that for font color= Tonight, we have got something bigger and better.
But very risky.
We're gonna make sure that we deliver the best performance that we font color=" We've been working so hard for this.
The pressure is on both of us, but we are one person on that stage.
We are DNA.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Good evening.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines telepathy as the supposed communication of thoughts or ideas by means other than the known senses.
David, we'd like you to think of a word.
It can be any word in the English language, but not a made-up word or a name.
Something that everyone here would recognise.
Please get that word in your mind now because you're about to write it font colo In a moment, please sign the paper to authenticate it and write the word you're thinking of on the line in big capital letters so it's easy to read.
Once you've done that, please tear the page off, fold it up, and put it into your pocket for later.
I'm going to come down and join you.
David, please keep that word a secret.
You three are about to make some decisions.
Here I have a deck of cards.
Each of you will choose a card from a different position in the deck.
Simon, as I mix the cards, please say stop for me.
Stop.
Right there? Amanda, please do the same.
As I mix the cards, please say stop.
Stop.
And finally, Alesha, as I mix the cards, please say stop.
Stop.
Right there? Three cards chosen from a mixed deck.
I'm going to mix the cards even more.
Alesha, you're about to make the final decisions.
You're going to decide who gets which card.
But when you get your cards, please don't look at them.
Alesha, would you like Simon to have top, middle or bottom? (LAUGHTER) Careful! Bottom! Middle.
Middle one for Simon.
Would you like Amanda to have top or bottom? Top.
Top for Amanda.
(LAUGHS) This one is for you.
Thank you.
I need everyone here to realise what's happened.
The cards were chosen from a shuffled deck.
Those cards were then mixed.
Alesha, you decided who would get which card and it would be impossible for us to have influenced any of those decisions.
Correct.
Watch this.
I'm getting a feeling about something.
You have three cards, I have three cards.
Simon, show everyone you have the five of spades.
Now? Please.
Exactly the five of spades.
(CHEERING) Amanda, show everyone you have the nine of diamonds.
Wow.
Exactly the nine of diamonds.
And, Alesha, show everyone you have the two of hearts.
Exactly the two of hearts.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) I'm going to be honest with you.
This was never about the cards.
This was about us being able to influence the decisions you would font color="#0 Simon, you have the five of spades cos that was the one you were always font colo and here's the proof.
Our five of spades has got your name on it.
(APPLAUSE) Amanda, you had to have the nine of diamonds because our nine of diamonds has got YOUR name on it.
(CHEERING) And, Alesha, you were always destined to have the two of hearts because our two of hearts has got your name on it.
Thank you.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) But of course, David, you're still thinking of a word, a word you've kept a secret since the beginning.
Please don't say anything out loud.
I want everybody here to know that we didn't set anything up with David font col And if David were to say his word out loud and then we showed you all that we had predicted that ahead of time, well, that would be a magic trick and that's not what this is.
David, please just think of your word.
Hold that thought for me.
I'm going to be honest.
What I have written will not mean much to the judges or the audience or the millions watching.
This means everything to Andrew.
Simon, since the beginning of the performance you have had a font color="#11FF11 Turn to page 1414.
Look at the right-hand column and count down to the 11th word.
The number's are at the top, Simon.
Can you see 1414? David, while Simon is looking to that page, remove the paper from your pocket but without unfolding.
We are trying to find it.
That is all right.
Give me a minute.
No problem.
OK, we're getting there.
Excellent.
David, that is why we asked you to write the word down.
Page 1414.
Right-hand column.
Please count down to the 11th word.
There are three columns.
1414.
Right-hand column.
11th word down.
Are you on the 11th word? Accuracy is crucial.
Are you on a word? I think so.
Please read that word out loud.
It is confusing.
We think it's "probably".
"Probably"? David, unfold your paper and show it to the camera and read the word aloud.
Probably.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) We are DNA.
You guys, you guys, well done.
All four judges on their feet.
I don't know how you do it.
It doesn't matter.
You are brilliant.
Your stage presence and the way you conduct yourselves and the way you draw as all in is hypnotising.
I think you guys are brilliant.
Really excited about that.
That was just amazing.
Gobsmacked.
I hope it comes across at home as exciting as it did here.
You could cut the atmosphere with a knife in here.
You are so engaging.
I can't take my eyes off you.
I do not know how you do it.
Amazing.
Simon, even without your glasses, you could still see it was a good act.
Even with glasses, these are the smallest numbers I have ever seen.
How the bloody hell did you do that? Seriously? I have no idea what just happened there.
That was honestly incredible.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) What, for me, was truly magical was that you got Simon Cowell to read a font colo for the first time in his life.
That was incredible.
He did not find it easy, but he got there.
It was incredible.
I can vouch for these guys.
They did not tell me to do that in any way.
Well done.
Thank you, David.
You can send DNA to the final.
To do that, call But not yet, voting doesn't open until we've seen the last act.
One more time, ladies and gentlemen, DNA! How did they do that? How did they do that? Right, after the break we've got Tyrone and Mina.
We'll see you in a few minutes.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Welcome back to Britain's Got Talent.
Next up tonight are a daredevil duo whose knife throwing act had everyone on the edge of their seats at this year's auditions.
They share passion, intensity and most importantly of all a comprehensive insurance policy! Do not try this at home.
It's Tyrone and Mina.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) We are Tyrone and Mina and we are a knife-throwing act.
What we do is a combination of love, danger (AMANDA YELPS) .
.
and passion.
We first met in a cruise ship in 2012.
I was performing with my knife act, and Mina, she was a tango dancer.
Being in a relationship, it's sometimes difficult.
When I throw knives to Mina, I have to care a lot.
I don't want to have mistakes, because something can go wrong, and, of course, she is risking the life.
I have adrenaline, always.
But I trust in Tyrone.
Tonight it will be more dangerous than the audition.
And we are taking bigger risks.
Can we get a medic on standby, please? We have just finished our rehearsal, and I was a little bit slippery.
I'm on standby purely for health and safety reasons.
It is important at this point to relax.
We just want to make sure you are safe at all times.
There is no room for mistakes.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) (DRAMATIC TANGO MUSIC) (CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) (CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) (CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Phew! Simon, you could barely watch that.
I could not wait for it to end.
What was so crazy is we're playing this happy music and in the meantime you are about to murder your wife.
(LAUGHTER) Seriously, that put me on edge.
Congratulations, by the way.
This is scary to watch and part of me wants you to go forward and the other part of me does not want to see this again.
What you did on that circle there on live TV, things can go wrong, as we saw with the choir.
I'm glad I'm with the choir and not with them.
Tell me about it.
Congratulations.
I do not want to see you again.
David? David? He's said that a few times! (LAUGHTER) You get a house at the end of it! So romantic, in a way.
I mean, a very dark kind of romance.
Very beautiful.
What's incredible is Mina is actually your 17th wife because the first 16 died.
(LAUGHTER) I don't know what is going through her head with an axe coming font color="#00F Incredible.
I don't normally enjoy this kind of fact,/font but you make it entertaining and I love the dancing.
It was seductive and passionate.
And your face, every time he throws a knife you look so satisfied.
Wonderful.
I can't imagine trusting anyone that much, to throw a knife.
It's exciting and kind of sexy, but dark.
If you made it to the final, are you willing to swap your wife for David? If he wants to try? I think that would make it more interesting.
More of a target.
Let's see if we get there first.
If you think Tyrone & Mina deserve a place in the final, call But not until we've seen the final act of the night.
One more time, Tyrone & Mina! Well done, guys.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Time for another break.
But we'll be right back with the last act of the night, Miss Treat Vibe.
See you in a few minutes.
(CHEERING AND APPLAUSE) Here's another chance to win a super prize.
It is our sacred duty to defend the world.
It is what I'm going to do.
One lucky winner will pocket £60,000 tax-free.
You and three pals can attend a private champagne screening in font color="#FFFF with a five night stay at a hotel and £2,000 to spend at Selfridge's.
And to finish off this hero prize there's this Alfa Romeo Giulietta Super in your choice of colour with UConnect satnav system and worth over £30,000.
For your chance to win this epic prize (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Welcome back to the first live semi-final of Britain's Got Talent and it's time for the last act of the night.
It's the sassy four-piece girl band, Miss Treat Vibe.
We're Miss Treat Vibe and we're a girl band.
I'm Jeanette, I'm 24, and I live in south London.
Jeanette is the mummy of the group.
I am Lavelle, I'm 22, from Sheffield.
Lavelle is loud.
I'm Bambi, I'm 22 and I'm from Birmingham.
Bambi is the big sister that everyone can go to for advice.
I'm Moesha, I'm 19, and I'm from Swindon.
Moesha is the cool guy.
And when we all come together, it's just a big happy family.
So emotional! # What a man, what a man What a mighty good man The Britain's Got Talent audition was our first ever gig.
We were so nervous.
I was sweating, me.
Of all the girl bands who've come on the show over the years, I think you could be the best we've had.
For him to say that, Simon Cowell, is, yeah Simon Cowell! It just made it all worthwhile.
Being in the semi-finals just means one more chance at making this dream come true, and I know we will not let it slip out of our hands.
Come on (APPLAUSE) # In the corners of my mind # I can't seem to find # A reason to believe # But I will praise you # Praise you, praise you, praise you, praise you # Britain's Got Talent! # Take the shackles off my feet so I can dance # I just wanna praise you # I just wanna praise you # Everything that could go wrong # All went wrong at one time # So much pressure fell on me # I thought I was gonna lose my mind # But I know you wanna see # If I will hold on through these trials # But I need you to lift this load # Cos I can't take it no more # Take the shackles off my feet so I can dance # So I can dance # I just wanna praise you # I just wanna praise you # I just wanna praise you # You broke the chains now I can lift my hands # I can lift my hands # And I'm gonna praise you # I'm gonna praise you # See me at the semi-finals doing BG # If we make it to the finals be like OMG # We got Velly, Bambi, Nette, I'm Moe # We set fire to the stage like Alesha's flow # Holla holla # Miss Treats are so real # Holla holla # Simon give us a deal # We'll work really hard if you give us a chance # Take the shackles off our feet so that we can dance # Been through the fire and the rain # Bound in every kind of way # But God has broken every chain # So let me go right now # Oh oh oh # Take the shackles off my feet so I can dance # And I'm gonna praise you # oh oh oh # I'm gonna praise you # Take the shackles off my feet so I can dance # I just wanna praise you # I just wanna praise you # You broke the chains now I can lift my hands # And I'm gonna praise you # I'm gonna praise you # (APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) That is how to end the show.
Simon? Start with you.
Girls, I think you may be one of the most underrated acts on the show so far.
I've heard a lot of talk about a lot of acts.
For me, in the real world, this is probably the best act I have seen on the show tonight.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Some of the vocals, I would have switched the leads earlier on, but what I like about you is you've got personality, you're focused.
There is a gap in the market for you, so yeah, you've done really well.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) David? If I was Simon, I would make you sign that record deal tonight, because that was a fantastic performance and your personality shone through.
That's so important in a band like this.
Well done.
I think it's so much harder for girl groups, you have to fight harder than anyone else.
I thought your lead vocal was brilliant.
The harmonies were great, and there is so much potential on stage.
You did brilliant, girls.
Well done.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) I couldn't agree more.
You've all scrubbed up beautifully.
You all look really, really gorgeous.
I hope like Little Mix on X Factor, people get behind you.
Because, as Alesha said, for some reason it is really hard for girls to make it.
So go, girl power.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Thanks, judges.
Thank you for the moment, judges.
And girls, your first audition was your first performance in front of an audience, this is your second performance.
Yeah.
How did it feel up there? Amazing.
Been rehearsing non-stop in this tiny rehearsal room, so it was a bit overwhelming.
But wee hope everyone likes us.
Hope you liked it, guys.
(APPLAUSE AND CHEERING) Simon is right.
You can tell you've rehearsed and rehearsed and put the hours in.
You can really tell that.
Thank you.
Have you done enough to make it to the final? Let's hope.
We hope so.
Can you believe you have come this far this quickly? No.
No! Well, well done.
You finished off our first semi-final in style.
Thank you so much.
Well done.

Wow-wah! Well, this is exciting! It is.
Start of the live shows.
New set, new studio - it's gonna be amazing.
And best of all, we're here in good time for once.
'30 seconds to Ant and Dec live in the studio.
' 30 seconds? Come on.
Oi! What are you doing? Move out the way.
We've got to get on the telly! Honestly.
Passes, please.
What?! Oh.
Huh? Thank you.
'20 seconds to Ant and Dec live in the studio.
' We're not gonna make it, Dec! We are.
Let's get straight in there.
It's Ant and Dec! Can I have a selfie? Yes, you can have a selfie.
Yes, yes.
'15 seconds to Ant and Dec live in the studio.
' Just get straight in there and let's get on.
Which gown should I wear tonight? David, we haven't got time for this.
So masterful.
David, go with the short one.
Show off your pins.
Thank you.
'Ten, nine I think we're gonna make it! I think we're gonna make it.
Hang on, hang on.
It's the first live show.
We need a a glamorous entrance.
Leave it to me.
Ladies! '.
.
five, four' Thank you! '.
.
three, two' Ooh! '.
.
one' Well, I'm game if you are.

Well done.
