Heartland (CA) s11e09 Episode Script
Challenges
1 AMY: Previously on "Heartland" JACK: You need to get checked out! TIM: I did already, ask Virani.
I'm going back to see her this afternoon.
She made me get an MRI.
I got an update about Atilla.
He's getting worse, and they want you to go? Yeah, and they offered to pay for you to join me.
Mongolia why not? We're going to Mongolia, then.
WYATT: There's this girl back in Calgary, and she sorta thinks that she's my girlfriend.
I feel totally played by you! No Georgie, it's not like that, okay? Listen Stop, just go! That kiss meant something to me too, you know! - My passport, it's expired.
- What? They're getting me an emergency renewal, but it's gonna take a few days.
Atilla needs you now.
I'll join you, but you need to go.
(TY AND AMY LAUGH) (HOOVES THUD) (GEORGIE LAUGHS) (HORSES SNORT) Okay, I never should've let you convince me to do this.
- We have to go.
- What? Why? Because this is private property! I told you, I asked Paula Westfield if we check out her cross country course, and she totally agreed, so it's not like we're trespassing.
Okay, but But what? What if I run into Dylan? Oh, so that's what this is about.
That party? Seriously, it was so embarrassing! Wyatt was such an idiot.
So I take it that you and Wyatt aren't exactly on the best terms right now? No, we're not talking.
He went to Calgary with his family for a few days, so at least I don't have to worry about him.
Well, that's good, that'll give you a chance to focus on training for the Summer Games, right? Which is why I brought you here, there's a jump I want to show you.
(HORSES PANT) (TRUCK RUMBLES) (SIGHS) (STRUGGLING GRUNTS) DR.
VIRANI: I looked at the latest scan, and the shadow's unchanged, how are your symptoms? TIM: The same, occasional dizziness, a tingling in my hands, sensitivity to light.
Okay, we'll do another scan in a couple of weeks, and make a decision then.
(TRUCK RUMBLES) It's called the Devil's Lake.
Flame and I can't jump that far.
Besides, it's not a stadium jump, it's a cross country jump.
I know it usually is.
But I've heard from a really good source that it's gonna be part of the course at the Summer Games.
Well, Flame's never jumped water.
It's okay, we just - have to get him used to it.
- How? That's for you and I to figure out.
(DOOR SLAMS) (JACK SNORES) (LYNDY COOS, LAUGHS) (SIGHS) (LYNDY LAUGHS) (BEEPING, STARTLED GROANS) I've been trying to phone you, where you been you can't return my calls? Well, I guess I've been somewhere where I can't return any calls.
Well, I wanted to talk to you about the cattle sale in Longview, it looks interesting.
You know what looks interesting? Amy and Ty's planned trip to Mongolia.
How can those two make a decision like that - without telling anyone? - Well, they told me.
- Of course they did.
- And Lisa knows too, in fact, I drove Ty to the airport just the other day.
You're an enabler! Does no one remember what happened to Ty last time he went to Mongolia? What's wrong with those two? (FLAME GRUNTS) There you go.
He seems okay.
Yeah, give it a try.
- Come on.
- Okay.
(HOOVES RUSTLE IN THE FOLIAGE) (FLAME NICKERS) (HOOVES THUD) (WHINNIES) - Aaaah! - (SPLASHES, GASPS) - Oh, Georgie! Hey! - Are you okay? - Yeah It's easier when the horse jumps with you.
(SIGHS) Ah! (SPLASHES) (GROANS) (SIGHS) S11E09 Challenges And at the break of day you sank into your dream You dreamer Oh oh oh oh You dreamer You dreamer Stop, it's not funny! (LAUGHS) Oh come on, you've gotta admit, - it's a little funny.
- It was mortifying! Did you see Dylan? He's so-so Oh, so-so, huh? Funny, I thought he was kinda cute.
- Amy - (LAUGHS) (CELL PHONE CHIMES) Oh (GROANS) - What? - My dad.
I still haven't told him about my trip.
Oh, um - Yeah, he knows.
- How? - I may have let it slip.
- Georgie! - I'm sorry.
- It's okay.
So, how did he react? He wasn't thrilled, but then again, he's never happy about anything these days.
Haven't you noticed something's going on? Yeah well, something's always going on with my dad.
Anyways, don't let him get to you.
- You have to go.
- I know.
I'm so excited, I just wish that I wasn't missing your show.
No, don't be, we'll be fine, as long as you promise to help me figure out this jump before you go, and get Dylan's smirking face out of my head.
(LAUGHS) That I can definitely do.
It's a deal.
(TRUCK RUMBLES) Hey Grandpa, where's my little girl? She's right here, just playing with her toys.
Thanks for watching her.
(CELL PHONE RINGS) No worries.
Oh, it's my wife! - Hello? - Hey, Lisa! Yeah, I'm all set to pick you up.
What time's your flight get in? What is this I hear about you planning a trip to Mongolia? So Ty and I worked with this horse, his name's Attila, and he was sent to Mongolia, - and now he's not doing well.
- How long? How long are you gonna go? - A week.
- A week! That's a long way to go for one week.
And it could be dangerous, Amy, you've got a daughter now.
Dad, you don't need to make me feel guilty about leaving Lyndy, I can do that all on my own.
The only reason you're feeling guilty is because you know you'd be leaving your daughter in the hands of possibly the world's oldest babysitter, and that's a bad idea, you've gotta rethink this.
I am working, okay? Attila is sick! Does the well-being of a horse in Mongolia mean more to you than the well-being of your daughter? That's not fair.
That's not fair, dad, she's gonna be perfectly happy.
I'm lucky, okay? I have Grandpa and Lisa who adore her, are great with her, and so are you! Look, Lyndy's at an age where she's not even gonna remember that I was away.
She's not gonna remember this conversation we're having right now.
Okay unfortunately Lisa won't be home anytime soon, she has to stay in France a little while longer.
You see? What did I say? It's not gonna work.
It's going to work, I'm gonna find a way to make it work.
- What? When? - As soon as you can.
I'm hopefully picking up my passport tomorrow.
I don't know, Amy, there is so much going on here right now.
I know Lou, but it is really important that I go, and Dad is being impossible.
I would do anything for you, but isn't Lisa there to help Grandpa? No, she's in France.
And Grandpa has so much going on as it is, look, I know you're busy.
But I would really appreciate No, I guess I shouldn'tve asked.
No.
You know what? I uh I'm just gonna redo my schedule, of course I'll be there.
- That's fine.
- Thank you.
(SIGHS) JACK: Lou's arriving when? As soon as she can.
Boy, last time I talked to her, she was complaining about her crazy workload.
I-she was incredible about it, Grandpa.
I think it gives her an excuse to come home.
She's been missing Georgie and Katie, and I think that she's looking forward to spending some quality time with her favourite niece.
So, problem solved.
Well, the problem is not solved.
Not until you get your dad on side.
I see.
Grandpa, I was kinda hoping that maybe you could talk to him, tell him why this is so important! (GROANS) (LAUGHS) - Thank you.
- Yeah.
CASEY: So I hope you like this restaurant.
I've heard good reviews about it.
It's just nice to get out for a while, huh? I mean, I love Jen, but it's a relief to have the house to myself for a while.
It's quiet.
It's empty Hey, you okay? No, not really.
It's just it's the first time I've been alone in a while, you know? It's the first time I've had a chance to think about things.
About my brother.
Ah.
(ENGINE HUMS, TIRES CRUNCH) - (CASEY SOBS) - Oh! I don't know what I'd do without you.
I really don't.
- Hey, hey, hey.
- (CRYING) (SIGHS DEEPLY) I just don't know how Jen made it through this.
I mean, Curtis was sick for almost a year, but, the last couple months they were beyond terrible.
(CRYING) At least when Hank was sick, it sounds horrible, but at least it was quick.
Hey, hey.
I don't know if I could ever go through something like that again.
And I need a tissue.
Hey.
No, no, it's not that Here, here.
Uh, um this.
- Here.
- Well, thank you.
- You okay? - (LAUGHS) Sorry.
It's um let's uh, come on.
Let's-let's go have some fun.
(LAUGHS TEARFULLY) (TRUCK RUMBLES) (WORRIED EXHALE) (TRUCK RUMBLES) (TRUCK RUMBLES, HORSES WHINNY) TY: Thanks.
- Altan? - Dr.
Borden.
Hi, you can call me Ty.
Good to meet you, I trust you had a good trip? - Yeah.
- Oh, um Can I offer you food? Uh, drink? A rest? Uh, I'm good, I'm good.
I'd just really like to see Attila.
The stud horse that was shipped here from Calgary.
Yes, I know, the one from Reagan Sanctuary.
Follow me.
(ATTILA SNORTS) (WHEEZES) It's a tarp.
I know it seems simple, but this is the closest thing we have to the look of water.
Okay.
(FLAME SNORTS, NICKERS) - There you go.
- See, it's okay.
Yeah, he seems fine with it, that's a good sign.
Yeah, but it's different than an actual ditch - filled with water! - Georgie, just do the jump.
Okay! - (FLAME WHINNIES) - Whoa! Ah! I don't see how we're gonna have to get this jump down before you leave, let alone the actual Devil's Lake jump! I mean, I don't mean to guilt you, but It's okay.
I promise you I will have you ready for this jump before I go.
Okay, I'm sorry, I'm just I'm kinda panicked.
- I know.
- (SIGHS) Is there a secret to this, or? - Yeah, I'll do it.
- Okay, I'll just - I'll put the it's right here.
- Okay.
Can you come take a look at this? These are all the rodeos that I wanna enter.
So if you could go over these, and then make a training schedule, I think that'd be a great start.
I think we got this, you and me, we've gotta go big.
Why don't you ask Caleb to help you train? - Look, in case I get too busy.
- No! No.
Caleb's not half the coach you are.
We're supposed to be doing this together.
What are you so busy with all of a sudden? When am I not busy? You know, just saying.
Just, that's a lot of plans.
Well, you gotta have plans, otherwise, it's game over! TIM: Okay, I just haven't been able to get back down there to Dallas, Billy.
It's a beautiful campus you have.
Yep.
Yeah, you got my email about Jade Virani? Yeah, oh yeah, she's the real deal.
She cleans up at every rodeo she enters.
Well, I'm telling you, she's already got sponsors.
She's just wasting her time up here at university.
I'd really like to see her in your program, Billy.
Well, you have better rodeo training, you got scholarship money.
I know, I know, it's cutttin' it close.
Well, I really appreciate you looking into it.
Thank you, I just wanna see her future taken care of.
Yeah.
Okay, yeah.
No, I'm fine.
Yeah, I'm fine, yeah, good.
Okay, bye.
(KEYS CLINK, GRUNTS) (DOOR OPENS, SIGHS) (TRUCK RUMBLES) (HOOVES THUD, FLAME SNORTS) (HOOVES THUD, FLAME SNORTS) (CLAPS) - Looking good! - Yeah.
What's with the tarp? We're trying to get Flame here used to a water jump.
It's called a Devil's Lake.
If that doesn't tell you anything.
And we don't even have a real Devil's Lake to practice on.
That's not true, you could practice at Paula's.
I'm not going back there.
Isn't it bad enough I already humiliated myself in front of Dylan not once, but twice? Then how are you gonna practice? - I don't know! - (SIGHS) Well, what's this jump look like? Uh, well like that.
Well, that's-that's not a hard build.
I could take a shot at duplicating it.
- Really? - Yeah.
But I don't know if you want me ripping up this ring.
I actually have the perfect place to build it.
(TRUCK DOORS SLAM) Well, I guess it could use some cleaning up.
Yeah, I'd say that's an understatement.
It's beautiful.
I can fix it up, and I'll have somewhere to practice where no one will see me.
At least while I'm still messing up.
All right yeah, I'll give you a hand.
(HORSE SNORTS) (TACK JINGLES) Ty: What do you think, Amy? Should we fix it up? Amy? Amy! What do you think, should we fix this up? I think that would be amazing.
(ATTILA WHEEZES) He has a lot of congestion in his lungs.
I've already started him on a course of antibiotics, but I suspect what's going on with Attila isn't just a respiratory thing.
I agree.
He was full of spirit the first week that he was here, but then he lost himself.
No interest in the other horses, and food, and life.
It's like he gave up.
Well, I think Amy will be able to do a lot for him - When she gets here.
- Your wife and Attila, - they have a connection? - Yeah, they do.
She has a gift, that's for sure.
But first things first, we gotta keep him hydrated.
(ATTILA BREATHES HEAVILY) Oh yeah, I know exactly where that is, you just take the road north of Heartland, right? Yeah, you just follow it to the end, and it's hidden in the trees.
Ty built it for Amy when they first met, it's super romantic.
Cool, yeah, I'd love to see it.
You should come watch me practice.
But not while I look like a complete loser.
You should see this ridiculous jump.
(CELL PHONE CHIMES) - Oh, he's so annoying! - Who, Wyatt? - No, Dylan.
- Dylan, like, British Dylan? Cute Dylan? What is he texting you? No Jade, stop! Hey, hey! What does he want you to come practice at his place? Just the jump I was telling you about.
- Yeah, that's it? - He's got one made already, he's got his own private cross country course.
Oh really, how posh! I'll handle this.
Okay, come on Jade, give it back! - I'm serious! Come on! - Okay, okay, wait.
Give me a minute.
Um (WITH A BRITISH ACCENT) I don't need your fancy course, I've got my own, thank you very much! Your accent is terrible.
Well, yours isn't very good, either! Bob's your uncle! - You're so cheeky! - You're cheeky, child! (BOTH LAUGH) No, it's not that great, though.
(COMPUTER PLAYS A TUNE) Look, Daddy's calling! Hey! - Ty, how are you? - I'm okay.
- Hey, when did you get in? - Yesterday.
Hey Lyndy, how are you, sweetheart? Hey, she's doing really good.
And, guess what, Lou is coming to babysit, so I'm so relieved, I feel a lot better about coming.
- Good.
- And I got my passport! Awesome, awesome.
(ATTILA SNORTS) Is that Attila? Yeah.
(ATTILA WHEEZES) He's so changed.
I know, he's doing a lot better physically, but it's like he's depressed, or something, you know? And he's not coming out of it.
Mhmm well, I'll be there soon.
Hey, Attila.
(ATTILA HUFFS) - Did you see that? - Yeah! I think he needs you more than medical attention.
Yeah I'll be there as soon as I can.
Well, not soon enough.
I'm serious.
Don't forget to send me your flight info, okay? Okay, I will.
I'll pick you up at the airport, I can't wait to see you.
- Give Lyndy a kiss for me, okay? - I will.
- That's from Daddy.
- I love you, girls.
I love you, too.
Say goodbye.
- Say bye, Daddy.
- Bye.
(ATTILA WHEEZES) How's the footing? Pretty good.
So Jack tells me Amy is going to Mongolia.
Yeah, it's an amazing trip.
Yeah, I bet.
I guess that means that she won't be at your show, though.
I'm kinda nervous about it.
It'll be my first time showing without Amy there, but Lou's coming back that week to help with Lyndy, so she'll be able to come to the show, watch, and help out, so that'll be good.
- Hmm - You should come too.
I mean, you're the reason I can even compete.
Well, not if I don't keep digging.
You know what, yeah, I'd love to, thanks.
- Can I ask you something? - Can I stop you? I know things didn't work out with Lou with just the distance and everything, I totally get that.
But you still like each other, right? (SIGHS) Georgie it's complicated.
Sometimes you have to break up with someone.
Like Wyatt, for example, what he did was unforgivable.
He still had a girlfriend in Calgary he didn't tell me about, and then he had the nerve to accuse me of flirting with Dylan Westfield! Oh, I see.
So there's more than meets the eye on why you won't train at the Westfield course.
And why I'm up to my knees in dirt.
Is that young love that I smell in the air? No, that's horse crap.
Keep digging.
(BIRDS CHIRP, PASSERSBY CHATTER) (FOOTSTEPS THUD) (SOUNDS ECHO) (GROANS) (FOOTSTEPS ECHO) (HIGH PITCHED WHINE) CASEY: Hey, stranger! - Hey.
- How's it going? Good You know, I still have an empty house, I don't know why you're not coming over and taking advantage of that.
You okay? Yeah.
I'm-I'm good, I'm fine.
Well, maybe you can buy your lady a coffee.
Well, they're already on the house, - so yeah, sure.
- Well, that's Oh great, you're here.
Tim, can you check over these forms, and make sure I've filled them out right? Coffee? Yeah, I'd love one, thanks.
Yeah, Jade Isn't it a little early to be booking these fall events? Well, there are deadlines.
But you don't know what you'll be doing that far ahead, anything can happen.
Well, yes I do know.
During the week I'll be sitting in my boring classroom, and on the weekend I'll be on the circuit with you.
I'm just saying, Jade, you want to keep an open mind for the future.
You know, actually, you're right.
You're absolutely right, and and I've been thinking.
I figure if I win at least half of these rodeos, I can probably just drop out of school altogether, and do the pro circuit full time.
You know, all over North America.
Or you might consider enrolling in an American college that specializes in nurturing rodeo stars.
How about that? Yeah, as if I could afford that.
- Oh! - (GASPS) Oh, sorry, I'm sorry.
- I-I don't know - Are you okay? It just slipped out of my hand.
(ATTILA BREATHES DEEPLY) Good boy.
Your lungs are much clearer, Attila.
You're on the mend.
Amy's coming, all right? She'll be here soon.
Hey, Ty? Hey.
He's doin' a lot better.
But his spirit's still lost.
Well, that's my wife's department.
She'll be here in a couple of days, and I'm sure we'll see some real improvement.
Oh, I come to tell you, there's been some calls.
Someone's trying to reach you, I have the number, follow me.
(DOOR CREAKS) Hey Bata, what's going on? BATA: You have to come to the camp! We are under attack! We need your help! What? Where's Gavin? He left! (COUGHS) He was a coward! He ran away! (SOUNDS OF GUNSHOTS) What do mean, he ran away? What are you talking about? - What's the problem? - Can you come? It's very important that you come! Bata? (BATA YELLS) Bata, are you there? (WHIRRING) (COMPUTER PLAYS A TUNE) - Hey, Amy.
- Hey, how are you? - How's Attila? - Still pretty lethargic, But he's getting there.
He could use some of your magic.
(LAUGHS) I'll see what I can do.
Listen, Amy-disturbing (COMPUTER BUZZES) -Bata.
Bata that's the guy that you met last year.
Yeah, there's something going on at the Veterinarians Without Borders camp, and I'm heading there now.
The bad news is, I'm not gonna be able to pick you up at the airport.
What?! Are you serious? I know, listen, I'm really sorry, Amy.
But I'll be-at the Breeders Centre before you even arrive, okay? Altan, he's the manager here, he'll pick you up at the airport, and take you right back to the centre, okay? Okay, Altan, got it.
Trust me, he's a good guy.
It'll all work out.
- Amy? (COMPUTER BUZZES) - Ty yeah, I'm right here! Amy, he's-Altan (COMPUTER CHIMES) (ENGINE RUMBLES AND REVS) If Ty isn't picking you up at the airport - I don't think you should go.
- I have to agree.
The manager of the centre himself is picking me up, he's totally trustworthy, so there's no reason to worry.
- A guy we don't know.
- His name is Altan.
Yeah, okay, a stranger is picking you up.
Yeah, that is not happening.
I travelled all around Europe by myself! Travelling through Europe with an equestrian team is a lot different than driving around Mongolia - with a stranger! - Okay, maybe it is.
But Attila needs my help, Ty needs my help, and I have been hired to do a job, so I'm going! Yeah well, you're not going alone.
I don't understand what the big deal is.
I think I'm old enough to make my own decisions, I'm going! Fine, if you're that determined to go, I'm coming with you.
(LAUGHS) No! What? You'll last a day.
I'll go.
Dad, I can do this on my own, you don't need to come with me! I (CELL PHONE CHIMES) Hey Lou, uh What?! No Okay, but you're still coming, right? You're just okay, no, I'll I'm gonna be gone by then Lou, I It's like, three inches from Afghanistan.
Okay, okay, okay, fine, yeah! Okay, bye.
Lou can't come until I've already left, but that's okay, she's gonna be here the day after I leave, and I'm gonna go.
Everything's gonna be fine.
(SIGHS HEAVILY) Hey! This looks incredible, it's so different than before! (LAUGHS) I thought you were packing.
I was, but my dad and Grandpa are driving me crazy.
Oh, your mum doesn't get in 'til the day after tomorrow now, which means she's not gonna be here when I leave I'm a little worried about it.
It's okay, we'll look after Lyndy, won't we? I know you guys will.
Good work! - Oh, thanks.
- All right, you just wait.
All right here, I'll give you a leg up.
- One, two.
- Unh! (GEORGIE CLUCKS TONGUE) (HOOVES THUD) AMY: Wow! Mitch: Hey, hey! - Whew! How was that, coach? - MITCH: Wow.
That was incredible.
You know, why don't you give it a try? I've heard through the grapevine you're pretty good.
No Mitch, I can't.
- Come on! - Come on, Amy.
Here, I'll take Lyndy.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh.
I'll do it, but I'm not going over that jump.
(HOOVES THUD) (FLAME SNORTS) (TACK JINGLES) (BIKE RUMBLES) Bata! (FIRE CRACKLES) - (COUGHS) - Hey! You all right? Been better.
- What happened here? - Oh just Poachers.
They've gone from village to village, burning them down.
- Why? - It's a payback.
For reporting them to authorities.
My friend, you have to stay, please? - Just for a few days.
- I-I - I need your help! - I don't know, Bata.
My wife is on her way over here right now.
She shouldn't! The danger is spreading! BAZO: Bata! (SPEAKS MONGOLIAN) (BOTH SPEAK URGENTLY IN MONGOLIAN) (HORSE WHINNIES) (KEYS CLICK) - (ANXIOUS) - Send! Come on, Ty, now, hut! Hut! Hut! Now, Ty, Ty! TIM: So, we're not gonna talk Amy out of this.
No.
And she should not go on her own.
But I don't think you should go.
Why? 'Cause I'm too old? No.
Well good, 'cause I'm going, and that's the end of the story.
I wanna go.
(FIRE CRACKLES) I wanna spend some time with Amy.
I need to spend some time with Amy.
Why all of the sudden do you need to spend time with Amy? Uh (SIGHS) That MRI, they found something.
A shadow.
The doctor thinks it might be cancer.
What do you mean? Are you sure? No, nothing is for sure.
They wanna do another MRI, they wanna do tests, depending on the results of the (SIGHS) - So it could be nothing.
- It could be nothing.
It could be something bad.
Well, what do they say you should do? I don't know, if If it gets bigger, (FIRE CRACKLES) they, they say they wanna get in there, I said no, no way.
No way.
Do you think you know, you-you're up for a trip like this? I don't know.
I think so.
(SIGHS) I asked you this before.
But now that you know this Jack, I'm begging you please, you cannot tell anybody in the family, I need you to promise me that.
- Tim, no.
- You gotta promise me! I need you to promise me that.
Yes, okay, I'll promise that.
Thanks.
(FIRE CRACKLES) (TACK JINGLES) (WHOOSHES) Hey! Nice going! (FLAME SNORTS) That was amazing! (CLAPS) What are you doing here? How'd you find me? You should know that trusting your friend Jade with any secret at all is a really bad idea.
So, you do have your own course.
Cool.
Obviously you've been practicing since the last time I saw you attempt that jump.
I guess I really will be seeing you at the Summer Games.
- You're competing too? - Same event.
But I warn you, I've been practicing too.
See you there.
(TRUCK DOOR OPENS) May every road you run give you hope (TIM SIGHS) May every evening sun take its toll 'Til you can't feel it - (CHAIR CLATTERS) - Oh! May your darkness be the shadow in the road (CHAIR RASPS) May your darkness be the shadow in the road (SIGHS HEAVILY) May nothing bear your name without your love (DOOR OPENS) May the foes that hurt your game get enough Of what they want Hey.
Hey.
Thought I'd get here before the uh, - morning breakfast crowd.
- What's up? That's my question.
What's up with you? Amy's going to Mongolia.
Really? Wow.
- Did you try to stop her? - Nope.
- I'm going with her.
- (LAUGHS) Wow, that's um that's great, that should uh make you feel better about her going over there.
I do.
It's crazy, but she insists, because that's who she is.
(CHUCKLES) And who are you right now, Tim? Because you are certainly not yourself.
And you haven't been for a few weeks.
Is it me? I mean, I know I was gone for a long time when my brother No, no, no.
It's nothing.
It's not you It's me.
"It's not you, it's me?" Funny.
That's a funny line.
(SIGHS) Why are you pushing me away? Just we need to take a step back.
- What do you mean? - Space.
We need to take some space.
Are you breaking up with me? It's for the best.
The best for who? You.
And you get to decide that? I do.
May the devil call the demons off your tail When all his hounds lose hope And the scent of your trail Is swept off on a southern breeze The north will lead you home May your darkness be just a shadow in the road (DOOR SHUTS) May your darkness be a shadow in the road You are gonna do so great at your show, just pretend like you're on your own course, - and it'll be okay.
- Okay.
- I'll be thinking about you.
- And you be careful.
I will.
And Lyndy's gonna be just fine, you'll be back before you know it.
Listen, Amy, I'm real glad that your dad's going with you, but you you look after him, okay? Look after him? Yeah, okay.
(LAUGHS) Oh! Yeah.
Good luck.
You take care of Amy, and you take care of yourself.
Okay honey, let's go, we don't wanna be late.
Come on, Lyndy, you come to GG.
- Bye! - Bye.
Yeah, come on.
There you go! There you go, honey.
I'll miss you sweetheart, I love you, you be good.
Okay? You be good for mummy.
I know, I love you.
It's okay.
- Bye.
- Bye, have fun.
- Thanks.
- Yeah I'll be back so soon, I promise.
(TRUCK STARTS) Amy! Amy, you forget something? - Ohhhh! - (LAUGHS) Thank you, thank you, sweetheart.
(TRUCK RUMBLES) Amy, it's me! I'm still at the camp.
Listen, don't come, okay? It's too dangerous! Let me know you got this message, I'll call you back soon, love you.
Come on, Ty! I just heard the news, the next village has been hit.
Even harder.
All right, we should go, see what we can do to help.
(JEEP RUMBLES) (MACHINE BEEPS) TY: Hey Amy, it's me again, I wanna make sure you got this.
Don't come! It's not safe! I'll call you again soon, okay? I love you, bye.
