RADIO OPERATOR: Attention,
unidentified aircraft.
You have entered the U.
S.
Air Defense identification zone.
Please identify yourself and destination.
Attention, unidentified aircraft.
Please respond.
Clubber, this is Big Heavy.
Unclassified band is not responding to comms.
Proceed as hostile intent.
Your vector is 06006 for bogey.
CLUBBER: I got them.
Angels 18 bearing zero six niner.
20 miles out, walking the line.
Attention, unidentified aircraft, you are rapidly approaching U.
S.
territory.
We are on a training mission in international airspace.
Training mission, my ass.
Relax, Clubber, they're just trying to rattle our cage.
See, they're already veering off.
Dasvidaniya, comrades.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN) Whoa! Do you see that? Where the hell'd they go? Might be shadowing under the other one, but he's in a deep dive.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN) Molniya-tri? (SPEAKING RUSSIAN) Where is he? You got him? No, I lost him.
He's no longer on the radar.
Did they hit the water? Clubber? Clubber? Clubber, do you copy? Hello? Hetty? Anybody home? (PHONE RINGING) Hetty? Strange.
Hey, Hetty, it's Nell.
I got your message and I'm here.
In your office.
But you're not.
(PHONE CONTINUES RINGING) You could've at least answered the phone.
Hetty, oh, my God! Where are you? Nowhere I want to be.
(SIGHS) I'm so sorry to hear about your mother's passing, Miss Jones.
Thank you.
And I want to apologize for calling you so late, but I need a favor.
Okay, what sort of favor? A Russian aircraft disappeared off the coast of California.
Wait, as in crashed? I can't discuss it on an unsecured line.
Okay, well Hetty, I-I don't work here anymore.
I know, dear.
But the team needs someone to run point on this.
(EXPLOSION) Bugger! I've got to go.
I'll check in when I can.
Good luck.
Oh, my God, Hetty, no, no, no, wait.
(SIGHS) You've got to be kidding me.
(PHONE RINGING) (SIGHS) (CLEARS HER THROAT) NCIS Los Angeles.
Son of a bitch! What happened? I think somebody slipped us a counterfeit bill.
Ah, yeah, that's definitely a phony.
First-grade fugazee.
The old bandulu.
That's not cool.
It's definitely not cool.
It's also a felony.
And a job for our brothers and sisters of the Secret Service.
You know what, I typically just keep them.
I'm sorry, what? Well, no, like, to pay Callen and Sam back if I ever lose a bet, you know? You're joking, right felon? You realize in colonial America that Benjamin Franklin put on the actual bills "to counterfeit is death"? You mean the guy that flew a kite into a thunderstorm? Yeah, and because of that courageous act, he discovered electricity.
- Did he, though? - Yeah, he did.
- (PHONE RINGS) - He did.
Didn't he? - Oh.
Nell.
- Who that? - Oh, Nell-asaurus, pick up.
- Hi.
- Tell her I said hi.
- Deeks says hi.
Thank you.
Oh - What? - When? Okay, but why are you the Okay, no problem.
We'll be there.
- Bye.
- What's going on? Nell needs us at headquarters now.
I didn't know that Nell was working with us.
Well, technically she's not, but I guess Hetty called in a favor because it's an emergency.
What emergency? A Russian plane just went missing off the coast.
A passenger jet? A strategic bomber.
FATIMA: The missing plane is believed to be a Tupolev TU-95.
Commonly referred to as "The Bear.
" It's a large turboprop with a range of 15,000 kilometers.
Yeah, Russia likes to buzz the coastline from Alaska to California.
Any reports of wreckage? Nothing yet.
If they hit the water, we won't be able to see anything until morning.
Do we know what was on board? No, but we do know that it has the capacity to hold 33,000 pounds' worth of missiles, including nuclear warheads.
What's Moscow say? - Nothing.
- CALLEN: Washington? Nell's still waiting for a response from SECNAV.
Nell as in Nell Jones? Apparently, Hetty asked her to lend a hand on this one.
Where's Hetty? No idea.
But Nell has arranged for someone from the Navy to debrief you with what they know.
He should be meeting you soon.
Do you think there's a chance we shot it down? I sure as hell hope not.
If we did, Russia would consider that an act of war.
What are the SEALs' involvement, Senior Chief? If this thing crashed in the ocean, we're gonna be the first ones on it.
There's a good chance Russia will make a play to recover their property.
No doubt.
That's why we need to get there first.
If there's any useful intel aboard, and we suspect there will be, we want it.
Not to mention the need to secure what could be nuclear warheads.
Well, if there were nukes aboard, wouldn't we know already? Yeah, we would hope.
So what can we do to help you? National command authorities has Navy SPECWAR running point on this.
It's believed that both planes probably flew out of Chukotka or the Amur region and have over a 9,000 mile range.
If it isn't in the ocean, it could theoretically still be flying.
No way.
NORAD and Air Force would've spotted them by now.
They should have, but in this case we have to anticipate and be prepared for all scenarios, no matter how improbable.
It's a large plane with lots of fuel on board, and not to mention their weapons.
If it were to crash into any residential neighborhood or the downtown of any major city, the result would be catastrophic.
Not as catastrophic as the worst-case scenario.
So, assuming this Russian strategic bomber somehow managed to avoid, evade become invisible to our radar, what is the worst-case scenario? A A nuclear attack? Yes.
With one plane? I mean, knowing that our retaliation could be annihilation? The greater fear is a rogue faction within the Russian military.
At least that's the way the Kremlin would spin it after the fact.
China, the U.
K.
, Japan, Germany, every nation steps in to prevent World War III.
Russia delivers a huge mea culpa, offers billions in restitution and aid, but the damage is done.
An already weakened United States is economically wiped out.
China becomes the most powerful nation in the world, their relationship with Russia flourishes, and democracy as we know it is dead.
You should be writing children's books.
He's not wrong.
But bloody depressing.
The good news is the Bear is a big, noisy plane.
So even if they were invisible to our radar, there's a pretty good chance someone's gonna see or hear it.
What's SECNAV say? NELL: SECNAV hasn't responded to any of my calls.
Sorry, can you hear me? Callen? Sam? Hello? All right, I'm gonna call you back from the landline.
(SCOFFS): I think someone messed up my Bluetooth while I was gone.
Ooh, yeah, I think I saw Beale stirring his coffee with that.
Ew.
Where is Eric anyway? Uh, he's officially on vacation.
And unofficially? Mm, unofficially he is at a Tokyo trade show.
That company that he was working for last year in San Francisco was bogus, but the technology he was developing was very much real, so it sort of reverted back to him.
Oh, please tell me it's not his robotic security chimp.
Um, I don't know, but I can tell you that he's become far more, um, what's the word? Eccentric? - Eccentric's good.
- Eccentric, since you've been gone.
Wow, that makes me sad.
(SCOFFS): Think how we feel.
Although I gotta be honest, I'm intrigued by the idea of a robotic security chimp.
Think about that.
Think if we had half a dozen of those running around here.
One monkey is plenty enough for me.
I'm so sorry.
- What's up, guys? - Hey.
FBI Agent Rountree.
Yeah, working with NCIS now.
Special Agent Rountree passed his FLETC training - while you were gone.
- (WHISTLES) Wow.
Congrats.
And even better because I actually need someone to stake out the Russian consulate.
Log who's going in and out; We need to see if there's been an uptick in activity.
There isn't a Russian consulate in Los Angeles.
(CHUCKLES) Yeah.
And I love leg day.
NCIS Los Angeles.
Did I miss did I something? Just, Hetty brought Nell in to help out with this situation, but, um, Deeks can bring you up to speed.
Uh, will, you send him the address and maybe give him the surveillance protocol? And you, please, by all means, grab any equipment you need from the armory.
(CLICKS TONGUE) There's a Russian consulate in Los Angeles? Unofficially, yes.
It's hidden behind the Hollywood sign.
(CHUCKLES) I'm just kidding.
The Russians, they operate out of the, uh, Boba & Borscht at the Farmer's Market, and I know that because I was undercover there for six months working at the, uh, Falafeloco.
What about Undersecretary Peel or his assistant? Yes.
Yes, I do.
And I need you to understand that we need to be kept informed if we are to be of any help whatsoever.
Good day, sir.
Well.
Did not miss that.
(CLEARS THROAT) That's what I call institutionalized bureaucracy.
Well, we've missed you.
- I missed you, too.
- Hmm.
Really sorry to hear about your mama.
Thanks.
She, uh, she fought a good fight.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
(LAUGHS SOFTLY) How are you really doing? Uh, I'm okay.
You know.
It's-it's been a while now, so I'm good.
Mostly.
Just trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life.
Well, when you do figure it out, will you let me know? (BOTH CHUCKLE) I think you are right where you're supposed to be.
I hope so.
I mean it.
It's really good to have you back.
Even if it's just for a little while.
Oh.
That means a lot.
(PHONE RINGING) Well, I'm not getting it.
Yep, that's for me.
NCIS Los Angeles.
CALLEN: Are we even sure this second plane ever existed? I mean, it's been several hours.
There's no sign of debris or a crash site.
It's a big ocean.
Sure, but what if the Russians specifically came in close to test out some phantom cyber technology.
If they could spoof our radar, causing us to see planes where no planes exist, they could have us chasing our tails all day.
That would explain the recent rash of UFO sightings by military pilots.
Then again, the plane may have flown out to sea below radar, and the Russians are already home laughing at us while we're on a wild goose chase.
Well, what are the other possibilities? I mean, on the outside chance that they were able to do an emergency landing, somebody had to see or at least hear something.
That is an extremely loud airplane.
If all four engines were working.
What if they were down to one? Or none.
They went into a dive off the coast.
Could have been a bird strike.
No engines, no sound.
They would have been forced to try and glide into a dead-stick landing.
Hmm.
If they were low enough to avoid radar, they're not gonna glide very far.
But look where they disappeared.
Last known location, they're headed out to sea.
Okay, so they're down to one engine, they're flying below radar, along a rugged coastline that's sparsely inhabited, in an area that's prone to heavy fog.
(SIGHS) Find anything yet? Uh, no, not yet, but Sam and Callen are theorizing about an emergency landing.
Well, so, Sam thinks that the crew would blow up the plane and then send out a Mayday.
They would insist the plane had crashed, so by the time we could get anybody out on the scene, all the useful intel would have been destroyed.
Wow.
The White House and the Kremlin both save face with a lovely PR event while the crew are safely repatriated back home.
After, of course, the requisite Disneyland photo shoot.
- Of course.
- I'm sure the Air Force and Navy are all over this, but we should cast a wide net So, local flight clubs, plane spotters, ham radio operators To see if anybody's reported any unusual aircraft.
(TONGUE CLICKS) Great minds.
I don't know about great, but "just fine.
" If these pilots were forced to make an emergency landing, there are a ton of abandoned airfields throughout California, not to mention desolate desert roads and even salt flats that could work if you were trying to delay detection as long as possible.
Any chatter in the areas with unusual air traffic? Not with our traditional sources, but I did some trolling on some UFO websites and social media, just to see if I could find anything out of the ordinary.
Let me tell you, that is a deep, dark rabbit hole to go down.
There's not one, but three separate accounts of a small humanoid creature going through dumpsters in El Segundo.
I think we know that guy.
I think we arrested that guy.
There were also several sightings of a large unknown aircraft flying low over the Los Padres National Forest.
It'd about 42 miles west of Bakersfield.
If they were flying between Saint Lucia and the Diablo Mountain Ranges, that would explain why they went undetected on radar.
Could be worth checking out.
I think you mean to say someone should check that out.
That's, like, a three-hour drive.
No.
I can get us there, door to door, in two hours.
And that is what scares me.
And I can get you there in under an hour.
CALLEN: Oh, yeah? Did, uh, Hetty leave you a little magic wand? No, but she did leave me in charge, and if I'm calling the shots, then you guys get a helicopter.
That works for me.
Don't leave me the keys if you don't want me driving.
I could get to like this.
Hey, how about doubling our expense accounts? Uh, let's not push it, huh? - You took a shot.
- Mm.
I took a shot.
Took a shot.
What are the chances a Russian bomber is still in the air over the continental U.
S.
? Zero to none.
Country's on high alert.
We would have spotted it by now.
You thinking this is a waste of time? I'm thinking these guys would rather crash than risk a bomber of theirs falling into our hands.
Even if it is a Cold War dinosaur.
Unless it was a Trojan Horse loaded full of malware, waiting to be unleashed as soon as we try to access intel.
That's pretty elaborate just for that.
I'm not talking about the plane, I'm talking about the people.
Russian operatives disguised as defecting crew members? If that's the case, why not put out a Mayday? Risk the chance of being shot down? Maybe they really were incapacitated.
Well, then, there should have been a crash.
With the possibility of weapons on board.
Unless they really landed.
And they're unloading those weapons as we speak.
So wipe that table down.
- I just wiped it down.
- (DOOR OPENS) ARKADY: You ever consider renting out, for funerals? Oh, my God, look at that dome.
What happened? Did you lose a bet? Very funny.
Training for triathlon.
- Really? - Uh-huh.
What are your events, drinking, gambling and smoking? Ha.
For your information, this cuts down on wind and water resistance.
In fact, I have no hair on my body all the way down at this point.
Absolutely did not need to know that.
Did you? But now I can't stop picturing it - and it hurts so bad.
- Yeah.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
Everybody's a comedian.
(SNIFFLES) Oof, this place is dead.
It's, uh, closed, so yeah.
Why is closed? W-Why are we closed? - Yeah.
- W-We're closed because most people don't drink at this hour.
We have word for people like them in Russia.
(SPEAKS RUSSIAN) S-Sla-slav-slavaki? Underachievers.
In which case, I am not, so I think I will have ice cold vodka.
Uh, none of this well swill you feed to the peasants.
Top shelf.
Nyet.
What is this, part of your training? No, today is cheat day.
So what is urgent? There's a possibility a Russian bomber crashed or had to make an emergency landing someplace off the coast last night.
Oh.
First I've heard about it.
Well, what are the chances of you hearing more about it? Oh, I see.
Yeah, you want me to make phone calls? (RUSSIAN ACCENT): Uh, pleased to please.
Yes.
Okay, sure.
Pa-yé-kha-lee.
Yep.
(WHISTLING) Better leave a tip.
There goes my retirement.
It helps me think.
(CAMERA SHUTTER CLICKS) (CAMERA SHUTTER CLICKING) (EXHALES) Recognize any of these players yet? FATIMA: Yeah, definitely a couple of them.
I've passed them on to the others.
They're all listed as private businessmen, but a couple have been flagged as potential Russian assets.
I know I'm new to this whole thing, and, uh, I kind of like the whole food truck idea, but this is not the most discrete vehicle in this neighborhood.
Yeah, well, doesn't really matter.
We know that that's an unofficial Russian consulate and they know that we know.
But we like to play along just to keep up diplomatic appearances.
So you think they know I'm here? Yeah.
I'm pretty sure they're watching you watching them.
Look, for the most part, espionage is a rather polite business.
Okay, that's just weird.
(LAUGHS) (BABBLING INDISTINCTLY) KENSI: Do you think he's actually taking names or he's just enjoying a day of free pool and vodka? Well, my Russian is pretty rusty, but I think he just said something wildly offensive about a koala bear and a spatula.
Or he just ordered us pierogies.
I'm done with this.
- Go get him.
- Hey.
(SPEAKS RUSSIAN) Do you have a name for us? What, you think you just call up Spies "R" Us and get the information you need? Espionage is delicate balance.
You cannot use brute force.
You need to tease information out like gentle lover.
I don't understand.
I literally just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
I'm so confused.
You can be so mean.
You want to see mean? I can be mean.
No.
Not particular, not mean.
- I don't want mean.
- Okay.
I'm going to deal with lokhmataya sobaka.
Maybe you should try and leave my sobaka out of this.
This is the person you want to talk to.
She can tell you what you need to know.
Oh, yeah? What does she do? She works for SVR.
Why would a Russian agent talk to us? I didn't say she would talk to you.
I said she's the one you want to talk to.
Supposedly, she has a big addiction.
Drugs? No.
Shopping.
She's known as Princess of Rodeo Drive.
That's funny.
I'm the Count of Costco and she's the Duchess of Dog Town.
Eh? Well, make sure you tell her it is for children of Krasnogorodsky.
(SCOFFS) That's easy for you to say.
What does this have to do with the children of John Krasinski? - Krasnogorodsky.
- Krasnogorodsky.
It is a code phrase so she knows she can trust you.
You're welcome.
That's it? You want me to do your job for you? 20 minutes, I have appointment with my trainer to work out.
You have Y-You're gonna work out after this? Well, that's why I only drink three-quarters of bottle.
Beast mode.
Hmm? Hmm? Hmm? Hmm.
Go this way.
I'll go.
He's gonna outlive us all.
(EXHALES) Her name is Zasha Gagarin.
She's a grad student at USC.
Thought she was somebody's kid.
That's probably her cover.
Yeah, all right, well, what's my play? Follow when she leaves, don't lose her.
Fatima, in a food truck? Either that or you can Uber.
How much longer you want to keep this up? Why? You ready to call it? Uh, yeah, I was ready an hour ago.
I'm not convinced there ever was a second plane.
And if there was, that they somehow managed to land it.
Let's go home.
Hold on! Three o'clock, starboard.
Bring us around.
Well, I'll be damned.
CALLEN: Doesn't look like anyone's here to meet them.
Not yet, at least.
Aircraft appears to be intact.
They got lucky.
I don't see any external weapons.
Maybe this really was a training mission.
Unless they already unloaded everything.
Plus, there's no way for us to know what else they could have been carrying inside.
Well, I guess that means we need to take a look.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN) They spotted us.
Hey! We're not here to hurt you.
You don't think anyone's in that tail gun, do you? I sure as hell hope not.
CALLEN: I guess we're gonna find out.
- (MECHANICAL WHIRRING) - Incoming! (BOOMING GUNFIRE) (BOTH CRYING OUT) Are you guys okay? Yeah, as long as we stay under this plane.
Unless they blow it up.
Well, there is that, too.
Okay, the plane is equipped with a self-destruct mechanism.
I'll send you a photo.
It's just above the jump seat behind the pilot on the left side of the aircraft.
Now what? You don't have a plan? And you do? I didn't really think we were gonna find this thing.
Well, we did.
We need a plan.
SAM: Check this out.
Footprints.
Looks like a few of 'em went off that way.
Well, maybe they needed to find a bathroom.
It is a long flight, you know.
I'm gonna check it out.
Don't let any of them leave.
Yeah, I'll do that.
That's not a plan, you know.
Does anybody on board speak English? Ya Grisha Aleksandrovich Nikolaev.
(SPEAKS RUSSIAN) Stay away.
What's your name? (REPEATS IN RUSSIAN) Is anybody hurt? Do you need medical aid? No! Please go away.
Yeah, that's not gonna happen, pal.
You guys can't stay up there forever.
(DEEKS SCATTING OVER COMMS) She said go ahead and have some French fried potatoes.
I'm sorry, I don't have any cash.
Oh, that's okay, that's okay, 'cause, uh, turns out that Ooh, I do.
Mm.
Mm! Mm-mm.
For the children of Krasnogorodsky.
I don't know what you're talking about.
Oh, hey, ow! I'm talking about a, uh, oh, a little Russian bomber.
Yeah? Went missing (CRIES OUT)off the coast.
Went missing off the coast.
I need to know who was inside.
I need to know what the mission was.
(SHOUTING): Kelly Clarkson! And, uh, I'll be in the back.
In the alley, digging through the dumpster.
When you come up with something, and then (COUGHS)you can come tell me, and I'll give you I'll give you the backpack.
The backpack, crack-a-lacka in the backpack.
Backpack, backpack.
Backpack.
Backpack! Think she's gonna play? It's hard to say.
She doesn't seem to be doing anything.
Hey.
- What's up? - Uh You got any change? Nah, nah (LOUDLY): Randy Travis! How 'bout them shoes? I like them shoes.
You wanna trade for the shoes? What size are you? I don't I don't Let me get the shoes.
- I don't - I'll trade on the shoes.
How about for the hat? You wanna trade for the hat? No.
Hard pass.
You don't want the hat? All right.
(SNIFFS) (CLICKS TONGUE): Is that hazelnut? - (SIGHS) - (CLEARS THROAT LOUDLY) What kinda What kind of man orders hazelnut, hmm? What kind of man orders hazelnut! Give Rountree a break, would you? And save some of that performance for next year's summer stock.
DEEKS: Very funny.
KENSI: Our girl's making a phone call.
Let's hope she's not calling the cops on Deeks.
(SPEAKS RUSSIAN) Four sets of prints heading northwest.
Where do you think they're going? Well Highway 166 is a few miles from here.
Beyond that, Los Padres Forest.
Any luck with those on the inside? They've stopped responding.
- Nell - NELL: Callen? How we doing on getting additional intel on this crew? Well, Kensi and Deeks got the name of a possible source from Arkady.
Rountree tracked her down, and Deeks made contact.
We made an offer to pay for the information.
Unfortunately, she has yet to respond.
How do you want to handle this? Well, we can't let Russian military personnel disappear.
No, but we also can't let them blow up a potential source of intel.
(SIGHS) Nell's call.
Hetty left her in charge.
M-Me? I've been gone for months, and now you want me to make a decision with international political ramifications? Relax, Nell.
He's kidding.
No, I'm not.
All right, Sam, can you track those you think left on foot? Without question.
And, Callen, can you continue trying to establish any form of communication with those still on board? I have been trying, but we need an in.
I'm working on it.
I'll try to get military and civilian coordination of air and ground support.
All right, now, look, this has to be handled with restraint.
These guys are already spooked.
If they start seeing a bunch of military activity, they could blow this plane up with them in it.
And you under it.
That, too.
This nose gear is too damaged to function properly.
No way they can taxi or take off.
This plane isn't going anywhere.
Copy that.
Hey, Sam, if you keep me informed of your progress, I can send the others to meet you from the opposite direction.
Hopefully, that way you can trap them before they get too far.
You good tracking them by yourself? Gee, I don't know.
You gonna be okay - if I leave you here by yourself? - Just don't do - Do anything stupid? Yeah, likewise.
- Yes.
I love you.
Yeah, love you, too, buddy.
How long does it take to drink a cup of coffee? She might be stalling while someone else is looking to make us.
(SIGHS) She's on the move.
She's heading in your direction, Deeks.
Don't blow this.
(CLEARS THROAT) Are you hungry? I bought you muffin.
I got a gluten allergy.
You like this one.
Mm, well, it's more of a gluten aversion.
Thanks for the muffin.
I'm leaving my weapons down here.
I'm coming up.
I just want to talk.
I don't know how you guys feel about Mexican food, but, uh, I can find you the best fish tacos this side of Ensenada.
(GUNSHOT) (GRUNTS) Okay! You're more pizza guys, I get it.
Did I make a mistake leaving you there alone? No.
Just having a little conversation with the guys here.
You probably should've led with a couple of Russian jokes.
Uh-huh.
I just found a 7.
62x39 cartridge casing.
Probably from an AK.
I think one of these guys took a shot at something.
Maybe he saw a rattlesnake.
Yeah, thanks for that.
It's a good chance others still on the plane are armed, as well.
Thanks for the heads-up.
NELL: We've got some names.
Arkady came through for us big time.
I'm sending you a list of six airmen believed to be on board.
Hopefully, at least one of them has a social media presence.
Good work, Nell.
Do we know why they're here? Well, that we have not learned.
So sorry, all I got were the names.
Even those cost us a fortune.
I'm just praying that they're legit, or else Hetty's gonna be royally pissed.
Well, don't worry, Hetty's not gonna fire you on your first day back.
Oh, I don't care if she fires me.
I just don't want her to kill me.
Good luck, friend.
- (PHONE CHIMES) - Yeah, you, too.
Kapitan Gonchgarov? It is important that you speak with me for the safety of your crew.
Kapitan, can you hear me? CALLEN: Starshina Kunetzov! Are you still aboard? Maxim Yurtaev? Praporshchik Barinov? Let's just have a conversation.
(CLICKING, BEEPING) I just found two more cartridge cases.
Must've been a big rattlesnake.
These are nine millimeter.
Russian markings.
Maybe from a Grach handgun.
Well, hopefully, they only had one rifle on board, and they decided to take it with them.
I don't know, G.
Something here doesn't make sense.
If I was to take a guess, I'd say these guys were shooting at each other.
Well, if one or more of them decided to take this opportunity and try and defect, the rest of them would try and stop them.
They have a radio, maybe we could reach them.
(PHONE CHIMES) Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, let's try this again.
Praporshchik Barinov? I'm coming up to talk.
Go away! I don't want to shoot you! I don't want you to shoot me, either.
And I'm sure that your son Dima wouldn't want his father killing an unarmed man.
I know some of your men have run away.
And I also know that they may be shooting at each other.
Let's work together.
Let's make sure that everyone stays alive.
Little hot up here.
I take it you guys don't have AC? Look, why don't you come down with me? Get out of this oven.
Get you something cold to drink, I'll get you in touch with your embassy.
We're not leaving.
But you need to.
CALLEN: Why is that? You're not thinking about blowing this thing up, are you? Look Dima may not care about killing me, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to lose his dad.
You must leave now.
You really want to give up ever seeing your wife and your son to protect this old relic? I mean, don't take this personally, but this thing belongs in a museum.
It's not worth giving up your life for.
You can leave and live.
Or you can stay and die.
Or we can all leave and we can all live.
You like that idea, right? He doesn't speak English.
(SPEAKING RUSSIAN) I'm pretty sure he understood that.
You outrank him, he's gonna follow your orders.
You-you willing to kill him, as well? (HELICOPTER WHIRRING) Sam, we've landed right outside the tree line.
We are a few clicks southwest of your position.
Two SEAL teams have also touched down nearby.
Copy that.
I'm tracking four people who may have been engaged in a gunfight.
(GUNFIRE) Sounds like they're at it again.
Yeah, we hear it.
Heading your way.
We got a situation here.
One guy with an AK holding off three crew members with handguns.
Why are your other crew members shooting at each other? Look, you're not supposed to be here.
What happened? Just-just talk to me.
I I don't know.
We passed out.
And when I woke up, we already landed.
Passed out from what? Did one of the crewmen tamper with your air system? Is that who the others are hunting? Is he trying to defect? (SHOUTING IN RUSSIAN) Hey, guys, we may have a slight problem here.
You mean besides three guys shooting at me? And the two that want to blow me up with them? Yeah, well, admittedly, neither of those are great situations to be in, but the SEALs and everybody else are getting pretty anxious to move in.
CALLEN: Wonderful.
Speak for yourself.
I could use some company.
KENSI: Sam, hold tight, we're almost there! CALLEN: Hey, guys, we're running out of time, okay? This place is going to be swarming with U.
S.
military at any moment, and I won't be able to help you when they decide to storm this plane.
It would be a big mistake.
No, killing people that don't need to die, that would be a big mistake.
- You got permits for those? - (SAM SHOUTS IN RUSSIAN) You know how much I love it when you talk dirty.
On your knees! Easy.
Federal agent! Drop the weapon.
Look, I know what you're thinking, man You've come too far to stop now, but I guarantee this is not gonna end the way you're hoping.
- (GUNSHOTS) - Hey! Don't mess with the new guy! You good, Rountree? Yeah, I was just, uh, distracting him for you.
Oh, is that what that was? 'Cause to me, it kind of just looked like you were getting shot at.
Whatever.
Okay, a simple "thank you" would suffice, but Oh, thank you.
Don't mention it.
So, gentlemen, this your first time in California? (EXPLOSION) Callen.
G, do you copy? G! What the hell happened? CALLEN: We made a compromise.
And what does that mean Is everybody okay? - KENSI: Yeah, we're cool.
- ROUNTREE: Me, too.
CALLEN: Everyone's fine, Nell.
No casualties.
Everyone's intact.
I can't say the same about the plane, unfortunately.
You blew up the plane? It was a training machine.
There was, other than the tail gun, no weapons on board.
And, besides, I didn't blow up anything, okay? For the record, they did.
You didn't stop them.
I saved their lives.
Huh.
You know what, next time, you stay with the plane, okay? Oh, obviously.
Yeah.
- Come on.
- I know how to take care of a plane.
SAM: Go with him.
CALLEN: Thing was old anyways.
Let's go, come on.
We'll get a table for three.
Fish tacos.
Fish tacos.
