When Calls The Heart (2014) s12e12 Episode Script

Must Be Gold

Previously on When Calls the Heart
Mama?
Oh, my baby!
My last foster family didn't give
me permission to go to school.
I know what it's like to
not have your parents around.
Here.
This curriculum frees students
to follow their interests
and pursue real-life applications
of what they've discovered.
Welcome to Schwartzman, Angela.
But I'm not ready.
Just try it.
Jake buried it right
here! It's on his map.
So, how come there's nothin' in there?
Sonny Garrison you're under arrest.
We called and our prayers were answered.
Yeah!
Hey! Great catch.
[ELIZABETH VO] Every year, the
arrival of spring feels like a miracle.
- Good throw.
- This year, more than ever.
As the months pass by, Little
Jack grows stronger every day.
It's almost like the ordeal
of diabetes is behind us.
But I must remember
this is our life now.
A life we're blessed to have.
[NATHAN] Hey! That's the stuff.
[LITTLE JACK] Oh, too high!
As the school year draws to a close,
the students works
are coming to fruition
in a wonderful array of final projects.
And with graduation drawing near,
Timmy finally found
the courage to confess
his feelings to Emily.
All feels full of life and possibility.
And thanks to his daily dose of insulin,
my Little Jack has a future
as bright as any child's.
Look at me, Mama!
Oh be careful, you two!
[LAUGHS]
So, you excited to show
everybody what you've been
working on all year?
That's very sweet, but the
children did all the work.
Does Allie feel ready?
Oh, she's been practicing all week.
I can't believe summer is almost here.
I know.
What will we do with all our free time?
I can think of a few things.
Actually, I meant that we
all deserve to have some fun.
Fun?
Now, there's a word I didn't
think I'd hear for a while.
I know. I'm almost
afraid to say it, but
let's have some fun.
Well, I should get back
and finish setting up
for the presentations.
What if I walked you back to school?
What about work?
Ah, work will be there.
Where you go, I go.

Now, I can't or do
not wish to go to print
until I have answered
the ultimate question.
Where is the gold?
Well, you may have to
accept we may not find it.
No!
We're so close.
And isn't it obvious?
Ernie Martel must have
taken the gold and hidden it
without the Garrisons knowing.
Well, that's just a theory.
It's the only one we have.
It's the only one that makes sense.
And it is our only
connection to his niece, Edie.
Nathan and I already questioned her.
She couldn't give us anything.
Couldn't?
Or wouldn't?
Perhaps
a different interviewer might
get her to remember things
she may have forgotten.
You're gonna need a cover story.
I am reporter and Editor in Chief,
Rosemary Coulter, doing a profile piece
on Hope Valley's newest law office.
It's not really a law office.
She's actually asked
to borrow a desk of mine
until she finds a place of her own.
This is perfect!
You wouldn't mind giving
us a little privacy
this afternoon, hmm?
That could be arranged.
Hmm. Yeah.
Do you mind if I, uh, leave early
for my final presentation
for Mrs. Thornton?
No, not at all.
I'll see you there, actually.
Uh, that reminds me, um
I need you to sign this.
Because of your help
exposing McGinty's scheme
and taking down the
Garrisons, I'm recommending
that you graduate with honors.
We'll be sad to see you go.
But I haven't handed
in my last exam yet.
Oh, I don't think that's
gonna be a problem.
In fact, I just got
word on your new post.
Fort McNeill.
It's beautiful.
- Fort McNeill?
- Yeah.
Anyways
we'll miss you, kid.
Uh yeah.
- Thank you, sir.
- Me too.
[ROSEMARY] Tell me, how did
you end up here in Hope Valley?
Well, my uncle left his
ranch to me when he passed.
Well, that must have been
quite a change from life
as a big city lawyer.
Well, it's certainly had its surprises.
Is this a map of the ranch?
Yes.
My Uncle Ernie drew it.
He used to say the ranch
was where wishes came true.
[CHUCKLES] Have they?
I think he just meant all
those wonderful summers
I spent with him.
Ernie knew how to make things magical.
Um I think
I now am just trying to
bring my two lives together.
Ranching and law.
I see.
When we first started this experiment,
I didn't really know where
we were going exactly.
But I learned there are
treasures to be found
when we leave the classroom
and discover the world
with our curiosity
and our hearts to guide us.
So, I'd like to say congratulations
to all of my students,
and thank you all so much for
coming out to support them.
[APPLAUSE]
This is really Allie's project.
I just helped with some of the mapping.
He's being modest.
Oliver helped me figure
out the cattle were causing
problems with the fish supply.
But Allie's the one who
convinced you to actually
do something about it.
You could've done that, too.
Not like you.
The way you talk circles
around the Garrisons?
You were
Anyway, I was just glad to help.
So, it turns out, plants
are just like people.
When they hear happy
sounds, they do better.
- Hmm.
- Oh, that's wonderful.
Well done, baby girl.
Thanks, Mama. Thanks, Daddy.
My last ever Hope Valley
homework assignment.
Oh.
Uh, why don't we go
see what Cooper's up to?
Nice job, baby girl.
Thanks.
I think Minnie's having a hard time
with Angela leaving.
I know.
I saw her tearing up last week.
Graduation can be hard for some parents.
Maybe there's something we can do.
- Let's think about it.
- Okay.
Mrs. Thornton?
This is incredible.
Well, thank you, Governor.
I think we need to find a way to
get this into public education.
Well, I haven't had any problem
convincing other teachers.
It's the administrators
who are skeptical.
If you'll recall.
I might have some ideas.
I heard those presentations
this morning were spectacular.
Oh
- Well, they really were terrific.
- [CHUCKLING]
Mine was about insulin.
Oh! And that is a topic you
know all about, isn't it?
[FLORENCE CHUCKLES]
Can I get a comic, Mama?
Yes, go ahead.
[FLORENCE LAUGHS]
So, what can I get you, ladies?
Actually, we wanted to do
something special for Angela.
Oh, sweet, dear Angela.
Minnie's gonna miss her so.
I know, but we thought it could also be
a surprise for Minnie.
- Do tell.
- Well, it's a bit of a group project.
- Get the ladies together?
- Mm-hmm.
And a gent?
- Yes.
- [LADIES LAUGH]
We'll all have to think of six
special things about Angela.
Things she cares about.
We'll do some research and
give everyone their assignments.
Count me in. And I'll
let Molly know as well.
- Put this on my tab?
- You got it.
Thank you.
Oh, Elizabeth, I have mail for you.
Oh!
Thank you.
Oh, Jack!
It's a letter from your grandma.
How is Charlotte Thornton?
Let's see.
Well
resourceful as ever.
It seems she's running a
boarding house in Cape Fullerton.
Always full of surprises, isn't she?
Yes, she is. [CHUCKLES]
Now, did you find a
comic book that you like?
Captain Billy.
That's a good one, I've read it myself.
[ELIZABETH] And then
she goes on and on about
how well-equipped the
hospital is in Cape Fullerton,
with the best doctors and
a brand new insulin lab
right there in town.
Oh, oh, and
doesn't it seem like something
you should consider, Elizabeth?
Meaning what, exactly?
Meaning, now that she's
moved to the big city,
I am putting her grandson at risk by not
dropping everything to follow her.
Charlotte Thornton is many things,
but a big city snob, she is not.
Look how she signed off.
Concerned.
My parenting leaves her concerned.
No, Elizabeth.
I don't think she is
doubting your parenting.
I think she just wants to
make sure that Jack is getting
the best care he can.
Which he is!
We set up a clinical
trial with shipments
directly from Toronto.
I know, and it's working beautifully.
I think you just need
to explain that to her.
Well, I don't appreciate
having to defend how
I'm caring for my son.
Because
Because ?
Because what if she's right?
Right about ?
What if moving
saying goodbye to our life here
means that Little Jack
gets the best doctors
and the latest equipment and
Shouldn't I be willing to do that?
Maybe we should talk to
Faith and see what she thinks.
I already showed Faith the letter.
And?
And she said that
taking Little Jack away from his home
and disrupting all of the
things that have been working
doesn't seem necessary.
All right.
But she also acknowledged
that things can change.
Well, then
other than Grandma Thornton's concern
Hmm.
I think we file this letter
away as useful information
when the time comes.
If the time comes.
Hmm?
All right.
Thank you.
Of course.
[COOPER] Uh, her favorite
dessert. Strawberry rhubarb pie.
I thought it was ice cream.
Okay.
What about Angela's
favorite musical instrument?
- Ukulele.
- Ooh! Piano.
Ukulele.
- Minnie!
- Mom, what's Angela's favorite dessert?
Strawberry rhubarb pie.
What's this for?
- School questionnaire.
- Valley Voice.
A school questionnaire
for the Valley Voice's
secret article.
It's a surprise.
Hmm. Have you two done
your questionnaires?
My question what now?
- [THUD]
- Ow! Why'd you kick me?
Uh, we're gonna go out and play.
We just played.
Anyway.
I think we have all we need for this
not yet fully distributed,
sort of secret,
school questionnaire
for the Valley Voice.
Buh-bye.
So
Any luck finding new clients?
[SCOFFS] Client.
Singular.
You have to start somewhere.
I have, um
- run out of allies in Capital City.
- Hmm.
And there happens to
be the finest lawyer
living right under this roof.
[CHUCKLES]
Care to join my sinking ship?
Your honor, I'd
be honored.
[BOTH CHUCKLE]
May I?
Of course.
I will accept this as payment.
There.
I am now officially retained
as your principal legal counsel.
Now that our conversations fall under
attorney-client privilege,
I wonder if I could
share something with you.
In confidence.
You have my word.
It's about my Uncle Ernie.
I'm worried he may have
been mixed up in something
not entirely legal.
Such as harboring stolen coins?
Wild guess.
I think he may have meant for
me to find them after he died.
And you'd like my help
to find hidden treasure.
So that we can return
it to its rightful owner.
Not to abscond with it.
Although the thought
of living on the lam
with a pot of gold does sound, um
Romantic?
[CHUCKLES]
In the name of righting a wrong
I am at your service, Miss Martel.
[GLASSES CLINK]
Now, I won't say that it was
a breakthrough, per se, but
I did notice when I interviewed
the good niece Edie,
something sparked her memory.
What was that?
It was a look on her face.
A flash of a memory, a whiff of
guilt?
- It's not exactly evidence.
- Well, it's intuition.
Make some room here.
I sensed it around the
time that Edie said that
Ernie told her the ranch
is where wishes come true.
I mean surely he didn't
mean a one-room cabin
with view of a dusty cattle pasture.
Now, Ernie, if he looks out
that window of the cabin,
he can see about half a
mile in that direction.
Mm-hmm.
That's the old North Road.
That's where the Garrisons
thought that they'd find the gold.
Exactly. Which is where
I believe they buried it.
Now, if Ernie
could've seen Jake's
lantern that night
Well, this was your theory all along.
Now, If I'm Ernie, I see
that lantern, I might
quietly sneak up on them.
He would've seen the gold.
He would've heard the entire plan.
And if he's smart,
he waits till they're gone, digs it up,
and buries it somewhere else.
So, the question is, where
is that somewhere else?
Hmm.
Yeah, too bad there's
not an 'X' marked on
this treasure map.
Yeah. Unfortunately, this
silly map has taken some
liberties with scale.
I mean, the wishing well
is bigger than the cabin.
Didn't Edie say how the ranch was, uh,
where dreams come true or ?
She did.
No, no, no, no, no. She said
it's where wishes come true.
Wishing well.
I think we just found our gold.
[ROSEMARY CHUCKLES]
[KNOCK AT DOOR]
Come in.
Pembroke Falls.
It's as an easy hike
and there's a nice pool
that we can go swimming in.
Is this what you're
thinking about on rounds?
Among other things.
[ELIZABETH CHUCKLES]
How's, uh, how's Little Jack doing?
Mmm. Worn out from his presentation,
he went right to bed.
Hmm.
Wait, I thought school was over.
Oh, these are final grades.
I finally have evidence that my
curriculum has been effective.
Everyone improved over the year.
Except for poor Oliver.
Why? What happened?
I don't know.
He was doing so well until
his final exam, and then
It's like he regressed back
to the beginning of the year.
This is what happened
on his latest report.
What do you think's going on?
I think it's pretty
obvious what's going on.
He's torching his career
so he can stay around here
and moon after Allie.
I'd say that's a pretty big leap.
You know, there aren't
many things that a young man
will put his life on hold for.
But following a girl?
That's one of 'em.
I don't have the heart to tell him that
the feeling is not mutual, though.
Well, what is your evidence, Constable?
You saw her with Wyatt.
She doesn't look at Oliver like that.
They're friends.
Which is better than
having a crush on a boy
who doesn't appreciate her.
But you're right.
Oliver shouldn't be putting
his life on hold for anybody.
Nobody should.
You okay?
You you seem like
It's just graduation.
I think it's hitting me harder
this year for some reason.
How fast time goes and
how much things can change in a year.
Come here.
What?
Just come here. Give me your hands.
I used to do this with
Allie when she was younger.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
I breathe.
You breathe.
One breath.
One heartbeat.
Better?
I love you.
It's you.
You're what I think about on rounds.
You're what I think about all the time.
Tonight, I
I rode up on the west
ridge and I looked out
over the valley at sunset.
And this grateful
calm just came over me.
Because no matter what happens,
this land will always be here.
And our life will
always be here together.
In Hope Valley.
Hi, Oliver.
Uh, hi, Mrs. Thornton.
I wanted to give you your final exam.
Congratulations.
Oh, I, uh
You weren't expecting to pass?
I didn't think I did very well.
Maybe because you were trying to fail.
Both this test and your Mountie exam.
Why don't you tell me what's going on?
I do want to be a Mountie, but
I was just starting
to feel normal and
And
I never got to be a kid.
Huh.
Everyone deserves a chance to be a kid.
And it's okay if you
wanna take some time
before heading out into the world.
I can't believe I ruined
my Mountie test, too.
I bet if we put our heads
together with Constable Grant,
we can find a solution here.
- You think?
- A childhood is
It's a precious thing and
you're wise to treasure it.
When I thought that Little Jack
might never have a chance to
run around or be silly or
play baseball with his friends,
it was just about the
most heartbreaking thing
I could think of.
I'm really glad he can.
You can too.
You wanna know a secret?
Even when you are a
boring grown up like me,
you can still play and be silly.
So
Oliver.
Tag.
You're it.
[BOTH LAUGH]
Ernie always used to
say, when I came back,
that the ranch would provide
if I just knew where to look.
Well.
So, where to look?
There's not much, is there?
[CHUCKLES]
I don't suppose this counts as treasure.
Uncle Ernie used to
put his pennies in there
when he came home.
In the summer, every morning
I would take one and drop it
in the wishing well.
Hmm.
He used to say that there were
water pixies that lived in the well.
Is that a ?
A Double Eagle coin.
Are there any more?
Uh No, I think it's just the one.
In a jar for the wishing well.
Was it a message?
Uh, I mean, it it
doesn't seem accidental.
Where is this well?
This was it.
At least he didn't
fill it with concrete.
[BOTH CHUCKLE]
[ROSEMARY] Well, look who we have here!
Seems like we have company.
- This isn't what it looks like.
- No.
Well, it seems pretty clear to me
that you figured out the
clues and Miss Martel decided
to withhold it from an
official investigation.
It's not an official investigation.
- Well, not yet.
- We're not trying to steal anything.
We're simply trying to find the gold.
So that we can return it
to its rightful owners.
- [ROSEMARY] Hmm.
- Then we all want the same thing.
So
[ROSEMARY MUTTERS]
[NATHAN] Put your back into it, Bill.
[BILL GROANS]
[ROSEMARY] Yeah, just
[BILL] Don't worry, Rosemary. We got it.
[ROSEMARY] Uh-huh.
[METAL CLANG]
Oh, my.
It actually worked.
Let's find out.
Oh!
Let's get this back to the jail.
I have some tools to pick the lock.
Give me a hand.
- [HEAVY THUD]
- [BILL] Right there.
So, I know how we got there.
But how did the three
of you figure this out?
Well
the clue was hidden in plain sight.
Treasure map.
I'm a trained law enforcement
officer, and we used a
a literal treasure map.
Got it.
After you.
[EXHALES]
Oh
- Wow.
- Oh, Ernie.
He was just as much a
thief as the Garrisons.
Well, we don't know what happened.
You know, you get a finder's
fee once we turn this in.
You could use that to pay back whatever
your uncle might've borrowed.
[EDIE CHUCKLES]
Wait a minute.
This map.
Do you have any matches?
[ROSEMARY] A secret message?
Invisible ink.
- [BILL] Lemon juice.
- [ROSEMARY] Exactly.
Of course, it's a treasure
map with a secret message.
Ernie used to leave
these for me all the time.
I never even thought to check here.
Well, what does it say?
It's
It's for me.
It's the story of how he found the gold.
He he saw the lanterns
and then stumbled on
Jake Garrison and his gang.
He dug up the gold and he
reburied it at the well.
Used it to keep the ranch
and put me through law school.
Because
"Because of all
Because of all the
Martels, dearest Edie,
you are the brightest
with the biggest heart.
I count on you to use this
to do great good in the world.
Love you forever."
"Ernie."
It's quite a bequest.
[BOTH CHUCKLE]
[CLEARS THROAT]
[WHISPERS] Cinnamon.
What's all this?
We know you're going through a lot.
We've been there.
We wanted Angela to
have something special
while she's away at college.
So you'll know that she's taken care of.
Something to keep her warm
and remind her of home.
We each made our own panels.
From Angela's answers.
The questionnaire.
[CHUCKLES]
There are different textures,
so she can feel the patterns.
Uh, this one says Hope
Valley in embroidered braille.
I made it.
It's Angela's story.
I've been trying not to think about it.
But I just can't believe
my baby's leaving.
You were there for me, and
we are all here for you.
Thank you.
All of you.
Angela's gonna love it.
And I love it.
[TEARY] And I love you all.
[LADIES] Aww.
Angela Canfield.
Timothy Lawson.
Emily Montgomery.
I can still remember
your sweet little faces
looking up at me when I was
a new and nervous teacher.
In fact, one of you was even here
when we held school in this very saloon.
Well, no matter where
your futures take you,
just remember,
you will always have
friends here to come home to.
Congratulations to you all.
[APPLAUSE]
[LIVELY MUSIC PLAYS]
- All right, there you go.
- Lee.
- Hmm?
- I think it's time.
Time?
Right! Yes, time.
Um
Michael where is that
lovely wife of yours, huh?
Oh.
What is going on?
Your guess is as good as mine.
Mei.
Mike.
I will never be able to
put into words just how much
I appreciated you giving up your
second honeymoon for Little Jack.
So
We all put in to help pay
for your third honeymoon.
Golly! And then some.
Ah, I don't know what to say.
How about we're going to Miami!
- [BOTH LAUGH]
- We're going to Miami!
[ALL LAUGH]
Oliver.
I had a little chat with Mrs. Thornton.
Oh, I, uh
Let me let you in on a little secret.
You know, Mountie to
to another Mountie.
When you tell people what's wrong,
they can help you.
I really am grateful for everything
you've taught me, sir.
Well.
I'd like to think that I still
have a few tricks up my sleeve.
So, if it's okay with you
Um
Turns out I need a deputy.
Comes with the promotion, I guess.
That would mean you have to
stick around here, though,
for another year. Are you interested?
I'd be eligible?
Well, it depends on how
you do in your final test.
Do you wanna take it again?
Ollie!
Come on, let's dance.
[LIVELY DANCE MUSIC]
You know how we said it wasn't mutual?
Yeah.
I'm not so sure about that.

- Constable.
- Governor.
Mrs. Thornton.
Congratulations.
Oh, thank you very much, Governor.
But now that it's summer holiday,
maybe we can drop the formalities.
Well, they may be on holiday.
You, however, will need to get ready
to present your curriculum
for the education conference next month.
What?
Lucas, that's that's incredible!
- How did you ?
- Well, shockingly,
I suppose I still have some influence.
It's over three days in
July, and you should all come.
Because I know if a room
full of teachers sees
what I saw yesterday,
those administrators will have
no choice but to support you.
Thank you so much.
Can I think about it
and get back to you?
Of course.
You really should do it.
[SCOFFS]
What's there to think about?
I'm just not sure. With
Little Jack, I just
I don't know if I should
be away for three days.
Well, I can handle him for a few days.
And I think if we've learned anything
from this whole ordeal
is that you can
you can lean on me a bit more.
In fact,
why don't you start by leaning
on me on the dance floor?
Where you go, I go.
[NATHAN CHUCKLES]

Oh.
I'm afraid our games table
is booked for the evening.
I can see that.
Rain check, I suppose.
- You know, I wanted to
- As a matter of fact, I've
[BOTH LAUGH]
I think it would be a
shame to miss the fun,
and I'm
wondering if perhaps
you'd consider a dance.
Well, I don't know.
I think that would test the limit
of attorney-client privilege.
- Touché.
- Hmm.
Well, you could always just fire me.
You're fired.
At least for the duration of a dance.
My, my.

Uh-oh.
There you go.
- Thank you, sir.
- You're welcome.
Congratulations on Angela.
You and Minnie did a great job.
Thank you, my friend.
- [BOTTLES CLINK]
- Means a lot.
I made this for you.
I hope I did okay with braille.
Oh.
A world without Angela.
It's a poem about everything I'll miss.
Because I'm gonna miss you.
A lot.
You'll come visit?
Will you write me once a
week and tell me everything?
Once a day.
And you're gonna be sick of my letters.
Never.
All right. Let's dance.

[RECORD SCRATCH]
[GROANS]
[NEW SONG PLAYS]
Oh, I love this song!
I was hoping you would say that.
Ooh, Ned!

[LAUGHTER]
This is the Charleston!
[LAUGHING]
- Okay.
- Let's go!
Woohoo!
[LAUGHTER AND CHATTER]
[CRICKETS CHIRP]
It's called Pembroke Falls.
Mountie Nathan said it's
just a short hike away.
And then there's a
great big swimming hole.
What do you think about that?
Sweetheart?
Jack?
Jack?
Jack?
Wake up.
Jack!
Wake up, wake up!
Help! Help!
Rosemary!
Jack! Jack!
Help!
I checked with the lab in Buxton.
They've been getting calls
over the last few hours
from patients experiencing symptoms.
What does that mean?
Is the insulin not working?
They think this week's supply wasn't
properly refrigerated in transit.
So, it seems that the
injections Jack's received
over the past day or so
haven't been effective.
What do we do?
They're rushing another
shipment from Toronto,
and we've been calling
around trying to find
an emergency supply that
might get here sooner.
Cape Fullerton.
- The new insulin lab.
- Yes.
We'll try there.
Unless
Unless we should just
be going tonight.
That might be your best option.
Best option for tonight
or for the future?
Elizabeth.
I want to tell you that
there is nothing we can't do
for Little Jack here.
But after you showed me
that letter from Charlotte,
I called this new lab.
And the truth is, they just
have things we don't have yet.
Like blood glucose testing,
which would've told
us there was a problem.
And now that we know how
crucial refrigeration is,
maybe for now,
it is best for you
to be closer to a lab.
If you can.
If it was Lily, would you go?
I would.
Yeah.
I will check on the train schedule
and I will get you to the station.
Okay?
And I'll call ahead to let
them know you're coming.
Elizabeth.
He's gonna be okay.
Sweetheart.
We are going on an adventure
to Cape Fullerton tonight
so you can feel better right away.
And then are we staying there?
We'll see. At least for some time.
Okay, Mama.
I have to tell Nathan. He's on rounds.
I will find him.
Okay.
[FOOTSTEPS APPROACHING]
I brought you some food for the trip.
Thank you, Minnie.
The men are out looking for Nathan.
They'll find him.
Thought we'd be okay.
That I could trust this medicine.
But
It's never really over, is it?
The miracle isn't that
someday it all goes away.
The miracle is that you
learn you can handle it.
I never thought Angela's life
would look like other girls.
But she is soaring.
And so will Little Jack.
I'm sure of it.
It's just
He already lost his father, you know?
And I know there's no answer.
But I just keep thinking, why?
Why, God, did you give
me your hardest battles?
It's because you are
His strongest soldier.
I don't wanna be.
You can carry more than you think.
And you will.
For him.
[VEHICLE APPROACHES]
That's the taxi.
We'll be here for you.
Always.
Thank you, Minnie.
No Nathan?
Would you give him this for me, please?
Yes. Of course.
Honey bear.
Honey bear, it's time to wake up.
Time to go.
Who's coming?
Just you and me tonight.
Let's go.
There you go.
[ELIZABETH VO] Dear Nathan.
I'm so sorry to leave like
this without seeing you.
Without saying goodbye.
I'm sure you'll hear the whole story
and I'll call as soon as we're
settled in Cape Fullerton.
[EXHALES]
I don't know how long we'll be gone.
But I could never ask
you to uproot your life,
and Allie's.
Not like this.
Elizabeth!
Elizabeth!
Dad!
Hey. Where is she?
You just missed her.
Mrs. Coulter said to give you this.
My brave little boy.
[CAR HORN HONKS]
Sir?
Sir, can you please stop the taxi?
[HONKING]
Nathan!
- Family sticks together, right?
- Oh, Allie!
But how can you
We'll figure it out.
Together.
Take us to the station.
Where you go, I go.
[ELIZABETH VO] I know everything
seems uncertain tonight.
But no matter what,
somehow we will return to Hope Valley.
