1 ZAK: I want you to tell me exactly what happened with your mother.
She was influenced by a demon.
I know she was.

[ Indistinct chatter .]
-[ Grunting, groaning .]
-Release this servant of God.
ZAK: It doesn't want any of us in that room.
WOMAN: [ Sobbing .]
I don't want to do it.
I don't want to do it! ZAK: There are things in this world that we will never fully understand.
[ Distorted .]

[ Echoing .]
We want answers.
We have worked years to build our credibility, our reputation, working alongside the most renowned professionals in the field, capturing groundbreaking proof of the paranormal.
-It's working! -Whoa! I can't give you an explanation.
[ Birds cawing .]
ZAK: This is our evidence our ghost adventures.
ZAK: We're in Las Vegas, Nevada -- our hometown, at least, for Billy, Aaron, and myself.
And this may be one of the most serious cases that we have ever worked on.
There is this guy named Anthony.
I haven't seen him in a few years.
So, I ran into him about a month ago.
I'm pulling over right now.
When I ran into him, you guys, he told me that his mother died in his arms a couple months ago.
Wow.
Here's the chilling part -- His mother believes that she was possessed by a demon right before her death.
This guy and his family are in a crisis situation, of life and death, and it's not just bound to their house.
NEWSCASTER: A neighborhood in disbelief after a man shoots a neighbor in her doorway, kidnaps her young son, and then kills the boy before taking his own life.
Disturbing events are happening all around the neighborhood.
NEWSCASTER #2: A tragic fire claims the life of a 4-year-old child on Wichita Court in Warm Springs.
Could a demonic force be instigating violence within this community? NEWSCASTER #3: A man has been hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times near Warm Springs and Paradise.
Is there a connection between these horrific occurrences, and the mysterious death of Anthony's mother? Now he thinks that the demon that killed his mom is after them, and it's going to kill them.
Aaron, turn the camera, and do your thing.
All right, right now I decided I want to get a thermal camera and just shoot everything, because there's not one second in here that we should waste for evidence.
[ Knocks on door .]
And you never know what's going to pop up.
-Hey.

I want you to tell me exactly what happened with your mother.
Okay.
She got sick on her birthday, which was July 14th, and throughout the year, she's been really, like, sick.
Since we moved into this house, for the last seven years, she's gotten really sick around her birthday.
And then this year, she got really, really sick, and she died right in this corner.
-She died right here? -Yeah.
While she was sick, was she ever telling you, or acting in ways that you believed her to be influenced by a demon or something? Yes, she was influenced by a demon.
I know she was.
At 6:00 in the morning, we were sitting here, talking, and she kept asking me to look her in the eyes.
And I couldn't.
But she told me -- she was laying her, and she was making no sense.
She was throwing up this black stuff, and it was, like, this gooey, black stuff.
And she said she made a deal with the aliens.
We used to call demons "aliens".
She said, "I made a deal with the aliens, and now I'm scared because now they're coming to take me.
" Did you witness her death? Yeah, I held her in my hands when she took her last breath.
And when I turned her over to give her CPR, it felt like something was holding her down, like it was pushing her down.
I could not get her over.
I could not turn her over.
It was scary.
I felt so hopeless.
Do you you feel like you're in danger right now, your family? Yeah.
Like, when I'm here alone, or just how mad I get over little things, I feel like I'm gonna hurt somebody or myself.
-So, your Anthony's girlfriend? -Mm-hmm.
How long have you been with him for? I've been with Anthony, on-and-off, for about six years.
What's it like being here now? I'm always depressed.
You're always depressed? And I don't even know how to really explain it.
It just feels weird.
It doesn't feel like I'm supposed to be here.
There's something that doesn't want me here.
So why don't you leave? Because I want to stay with Anthony.
Are you, uh Are you worried about him? Yeah.
Has he talked to you about killing himself? A lot.

It's a very frequent thing.
ZAK: You've been having a lot of rage.

Since your mother's death? It got worse after she died.

I'll feel it coming, and then I get really mad, and then I just can't control it.
Were you ever having thoughts about taking your own life? Yes.
Multiple times.
And then me and my stepdad talked about it, and he said "Anthony, I think that morning that your mom died, something killed her".
He goes, "So, whatever it is," it's trying to kill you, too".
Your stepfather said this? Yes.
And he does not want to be filmed? No.
But he doesn't express his beliefs in spiritual-demonic things, and when he told me that, it kind of scared me.
Do you think your boyfriend's possessed? I don't think, like, he's possessed, but I think things take advantage of him, or enter him.
Right, exactly.
They jump in and out Yeah.
at different times.
Mm-hmm.
-Hey, guys? -Yeah? ZAK: Come here and look at this.

There's a chord coming from the attic.
What? That has locked these two doors together.
Why is this room bound with this chord and lock like that? That is weird.
Hold on.
Anthony! That's my mom's room, and this is where we see the girl in the white dress all the time.
And this is why, right here, it's tied off with an extension cord, so no one can go in there.
ZAK: Could this girl in white be the demonic entity that possessed Anthony's mother? It's hard for you to be in there? Yeah, it makes -- it feels like I'm not -- It feels like I'm doing something wrong, like I'm not allowed to be in there.
Does this stuff bother you a lot, huh? Like mentally and stuff? You okay? It's all right.
[ Voice breaking .]
I just want it to be normal.

Like, I wanted to get rid of this, and then, today, I didn't even want to film.

What I'm concerned about is that there's something in you.
[ Chuckles nervously .]
You think there's something in me? Yeah.

Like, I kind of got mad.

So, when I said that, you got angry at me? Yeah, I got -- I got pretty pissed off.

[ Exhales sharply .]
They want people to commit suicide.
They want people to do bad things.
They want this kind of thing to happen.
Nothing good at all.
Death, darkness, and despair -- That's it.
You opened the door to this.

And we started this.
And we're gonna stay here until we finish it.
ZAK: As Day 1 of our investigation comes to a close, Anthony pulls me aside.
ANTHONY: When I just left in there, it felt like my brain was being twisted, like, as soon as I came out here.
Like, whatever it is, is pissed at me, and it's scaring me.
It doesn't have full -- You're not in full possession.
But it is affecting you.
You're in a state of oppression.
That's bad, right? Yeah.
Of course.
Oppression can turn into a full diabolical possession.
Diabolical possessions can kill you, and the biggest question that I have is, was your mother diabolically possessed? That's my question.
ZAK: We're gonna start this process.
I'ma cry.
I just got this heavy pressure on my chest.
You okay, Anna? Okay, it's the second night of our investigation here, and we're trying to do this undercover, and not raise a huge commotion or a big spotlight on us right now, because this neighborhood, all around us, has been affected by some very, very violent activities that have made really big news, and I'm talking within 100 yards of this house.
Behind me, a car just pulled up, and inside that car is exorcist Bishop Bryan Ouellette, PhD, and Sister Mary Joan.

Absolutely.
We have a crisis situation here.

-Okay? ZAK: This guy -- his mother literally died while they were holding hands.
He says that, "A demon killed my mom.
" Now he, his girlfriend have it the worst.
His two sisters, his stepdad -- who does not want to be on camera -- is now a believer in all of this.
But it's a complex case, and because of that, I stopped the interviews.
I want you two to go with me now to meet the two sisters, and then together, as a team, let's figure out the best plan of attack, and I really believe we need a minor rite of exorcism on this house.
ZAK: Bishop Bryan, Sister Mary Joan, this is Shylo and Reese.
MARY JOAN: Hi.
How are y'all doing? I have not spoken with either of you yet.
It's critical that this whole situation is monitored not only by us, but also by them.
Were there ever paranormal things happening in the house.
Like what? Um, there was one time I was showering, and I'd seen a girl standing on the outside of the curtain.
And when I opened it, she was gone.
Do you two also have the same thoughts as your brother does, about a demon influencing the death of your mother? -Mm-hmm.
-Yeah.
By the way she acted, the things she said before she died.
The way that she acted? She'd go from perfectly fine, to, all of a sudden, like, angry, like flipping out about nothing.
Do you remember a boyfriend that she had, that was doing Satanism? -Yeah, that was my dad.
-That was your dad? -That was your father? He wasn't normal.
He really thought, like, he was a god or something.
-He thought he was the Devil.
-Higher than the Devil.
Yeah, he was, like, higher than anybody else.
-He was doing rituals.
-Mm-hmm.
Was he doing them in the house? Yes.
Did you ever see any of that? Yeah, there's a video that I remember.
And what was unique about it? It was dark.
The candles-- There's candles everywhere? So, like, a ritual had been going on? Mm-hmm.
Was there any -- was there ever any dead animals? Yes.
One time, one of my mom's cats got pregnant, and he cut the cat open with scissors.
-You know this for a fact? -Yes.
He also broke two of my mom's dogs' necks and put them in the trashcan in the backyard, and my mom found them.
And this would be about the time your mother started acting really strange? -Mm-hmm.
ZAK: As we are preparing for our lockdown, Bishop Bryan comes to us with startling information.
Sister Mary, can you sit there by the table? -Yep.
-Bishop Bryan here? Our interview just ended with the two sisters, and after the cameras cut, you all continued to talk with her for a good 20 minutes? Umwas there anymore information that she revealed to you after the cameras were cut? Uh, yes, and I think it is, actually, pivotal to the problem here.
She told us that the remains of the mother -- they're still in the house.
-Oh, my gosh! -You didn't know that? -What? -Are you kidding? I think that the father, who is still alive and, most likely, still practicing occult -- dark occult practices Could he be cursing them? -Yes.
-Exactly.
And I think it might still be attached to the remains of the mother.
ZAK: All right, look.
We're about -- We're gonna start this.

[ Knocks on door .]

Anna and my sister Shylo were cleaning the room, and the walls were shaking, and they yelled for me, and I ran in there, and I said, "Whatever's in here doesn't like you guys".
And I put my hand on the wall, and everything stopped.
What do you think doesn't want you in that room? I don't know what it is.
We see the girl in the white dress that's in that room, and it just doesn't want you in there.
[ Door slams .]
It just wants you out.
[ High-pitched warbling .]
Before my mom passed away, I was -- You okay, Anna? What's wrong? I don't know.
What's wrong? It's just hot and I don't know.
It is warm in here, but what are you really feeling? I mean, describe it.
[ Voice breaking .]
I don't know.

OUELLETTE: It's okay.

MARY JOAN: Is it sadness or? That's what it feels like.
Do you have any tissues? Well, you guys relax, sit tight, you know? If you feel anxiety or fear, just sit with it, and I'll be back.
But we're going to go over in the garage, and we're going to see what this does.
She's really having a hard time with this.
Can you-- Can you -- Can you sit for just, like, maybe five minutes? Getting surges -- It's, like, anger.
-Really? -Yeah.
It doesn't want any of us in that room, at all.

AARON: Zak, should we cut these lights.

You might need to grab a nightvision camera since we're going dark, right, Zak? Yeah.
Billy, You monitor both these cameras.
ZAK: Just as we turn all of the lights out and go full night vision with our cameras, Anthony sees something shoot right past him.
-What the -Chill, chill, chill.
What's wrong? What's wrong? ZAK: As soon as Anthony sees the anomaly, our camera also captures it, at which time, Anna becomes extremely affected.
Bishop Bryan immediately arrives, and begins dousing Anthony and Anna with holy water.
Can someone feel my hand? Look at this.
[ Shuttering .]
It's okay.
Let it out.
It's fine.
My hand -- Look at -- [ Sighing .]
Phew! [ Breathing raggedly .]
[ Voice breaking .]
You guys, I feel really weird.
[ Breathing heavily .]
I'm, like, really, really sad right now.
[ Sobbing .]
ZAK: As soon as Anthony reacts to the holy water, I feel something hit me hard, and right now, I'm doing everything I can to fight it.
[ Anthony sobbing .]
My hands are, like, tingling, and they're numb.
[ Shivering .]
As Bishop Bryan and Sister Mary prepare to conduct a blessing, I have to leave the house.
[ Breathing raggedly .]
[ Sighs .]
[ Sobbing .]
I don't want to do it.

[ Sighs .]
I don't know why, but I'm being led to the mother's bedroom, which they keep lock and sealed because of all the dark entities that remain inside.
AARON: Ooh, there's some energy coming out of there.
OUELLETTE: I'm gonna give you a special blessing once we've gone inside that room.
I don't want to be in here when You don't want to be here? Okay.
Zak, I don't know, after the way they're reacting, I'm not sure it's a good idea to have them here when we go in.
They're open now? -Well, that might explain it.
-Yeah.
[ Clattering .]

Whoa! "Satan!" It just said "Satan"?! ZAK: We're only an hour into our investigation, and already the demon plaguing this Las Vegas family has presented itself.
[ Anthony groaning .]
[ Grunting .]
[ Hyperventilating .]
-Yeah.

He needs to get out.

OUELLETTE: It's okay, Zak, if you need to go.

[ Anthony breathing heavily .]
[ Oscillating static .]

Hey, look! I know we're the bad guys in his house right now.

ZAK: Just as Jay hears something near him, he points his camera in that direction at the same time that this unexplained light anomaly manifests.
JAY: I just heard something from the room back here, now.

ZAK: Back in the bedroom, I begin using the flashlight on my phone to search for clues as to what Anthony's mother may have left that these demonic entities could be bound to.
And as I look inside this chest and start to move away, it seems her spirit tries to guide my search.
[ Oscillating static .]
JAY: Hey, what about the closet? -Whoa.
-"You missed it.
" -Whoa, you missed it! -Did you hear that? It just said it -- "You missed it".
Zak, it said, "You missed it".
-Where were you just at, Zak? -You were right here.
[ Oscillating static .]

Aaron: Where is it? [ Oscillating static continues .]
In a kid's voice.
ZAK: As I discover some disturbing items, including a small box that contains a lock of human hair, all of a sudden, this weird child's voice tells us, "It's lucky".
Where is it? In a kid's voice.
Could this be a demon trying trick us by mimicking, in a child's voice, that this object is lucky when it's actually cursed? That was a kid.
That was a kid's voice.
I heard "Get back.
" -Whoa, turn up the radio.
-Whoa! Whoa! -Whoa.
-Satan?! -It just said "Satan"?! -In a demon's voice! It just said -- It just said, "I'm right here".
He goes, "I'm right here".
-I heard that.
-Then it goes, "Satan".
I heard that.
That was a kid.
That was a kid's voice.
Then I heard "Get back.
" -Whoa, turn up the radio.
-Whoa.
Whoa! Whoa! "Get back.

-Whoa.
Whoa! -Whoa! -Satan?! -"Satan!" -It just said "Satan"! [ Breathing heavily .]

[ Oscillating static .]

-It said, "Stop"! ZAK: Just as I'm about to open a small safe in the same cabinet where the box with the lock of hair is located, I get a warning not to do so.
Stop! -"Stop!" -"Stop!" -"Stop!" -In a woman's voice.
-It says, "Stop".
ZAK: I immediately grab the SLS camera, to see if we can get a visual of these spirits and demonic entities that we are speaking with.
You want to show yourself to us? You're in the hallway.
I know you are.
Go ahead.
Let me see you.

It's pissed.
What I think this house needs is an exorcism.
ZAK: As our lockdown continues at Anthony's house in Las Vegas, Bishop Bryan tends to Anthony in the garage, as we continue our investigation of the house.
Let me see you! Oh, my God! Did you hear that? Who was it? Was it a growl? You didn't hear that? I didn't hear when you said that.
It was a heavy, deep guttural, just [ Growls .]
-No! -Whoa, whoa, whoa.
ZAK: I'm not even watching the SLS camera, and we capture a figure in the mother's bedroom that appears to come towards us.
Go ahead, and show yourself again.
Aaron: Why are you -- There it is, right in front.
-In the corner of the bed.
-No way.
What's -- look.
You opened the doors.
Ooh.
ZAK: Oh, whoa.
Did you see what he did? He just showed up towards me, and disappeared again.
-[ Groans .]
-You all right? No, it's right in my solar plexus.
It's right here.
I'm gonna go try and grab that again, and see if something appears next to me, ready? JAY: Go.
You all right? -No.

I gotta go.
JAY: Bill-- Bill just had to run out.
Something's happened with him.
ZAK: As soon as this figure appears again on the SLS camera, it rushes at us, at which time, Billy begins feeling a very sharp, scary pain in his chest.
I'm losing pressure right here.
It just feels like something's reached inside of me.
-Yep.
-Keep working on her.
-Standing in front the door -Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.
Anna: Get him, get him! Get him, get him, get him! [ Anthony groans .]
Is it grabbing hold of you? It's my back.

-Tensing up? -Mm-hmm.
-Oh, man.

-Yeah.

-What's wrong.
It's right in the middle of my chest.
[ Groans .]
-Right here? -Right here.
-You're okay? -Right around here? -It feels like I'm being stabbed right in the -- -Lift your shirt.
I got, like, a pressure behind the ear now.
Yeah.
It's lashing out.
As soon as Billy came I need -- I want I think a Palo Santo wood.
-I need to go out front.
-Go that way.
ZAK: After Bishop Bryan tries to cleanse Billy from whatever is attacking him, Billy heads outside to do his own personal cleansing, using Palo Santo wood.
You have no authority to be in my body -- to touch me, to attach to me, to affect me, in any way.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you leave.
I feel like a sword was being pushed just right into me.
Yeah, I'd never seen you look like that, ever.
I don't know what is in there.
It's just jumping from person to person to person.
I thought I'd be fine.
[ Indistinct chatter .]
Did you just notice what just happened? Bill goes running out.
When we hear that moan, Zak's out.
-Who's that? -What was that? -It's miserable.
-Dude You almost ran out because you got touched.
Yeah.
-[ Gasps .]
I just captured -What was that? -There's something in the door.
-Like, in the doorway? -Yeah! I caught it.
-Dude! Aaron: It was, like, right behind you.
I felt it grab my jacket.
We would all be in the garage right now, but who's left? Us.
-Still here.
ZAK: Bishop Bryan and Sister Mary now notice that Anthony and his girlfriend, Anna, are beginning to lift from their dark oppression.
Once outside, Anthony receives specific instructions regarding his mother's ashes, which are currently located inside the house.
What I think this house needs is an exorcism.
The soonest that you can leave Because this is not -- You're an unintended victim in this.
Your mom as a target, and now, because the ashes are still in there, the attachment is still in there.
We all regroup in the living room to act upon Bishop Bryan's instructions, to remove Anthony's mother's ashes from the home.
Ouellette: What I think we need to try to do -- we need to get this out of the house, until they can rest it, because they're stuck there.
They're stuck living there.
They don't have the resources to get out of here, and as long as those ashes are here, this is going to continue, so we need to seal this, and then this needs to be put to rest properly.
-If it's his mother -Mm-hmm.
why do you think that these ashes are a part of this? Because I think she was consumed by the demonic entity that was sent to kill her.
Right.
It stays with the remains.
