1 (male narrator) For as long as Hell's Kitchen has been around, the path to make it to the end This is my space.
Don't touch my space.
(narrator) Has been one of the most arduous journeys (man) I wake up with a picture of my wife and kids right next to the bed.
(narrator) Any chef could face.
[groans.]
All that matters is getting to the finish line.
(narrator) Tonight these two young chefs will take the last step in their journey.
Oh, here we go.
- (narrator) Heather - Whoo! (narrator) The 26-year-old sous chef from Easton, Pennsylvania Ladies.
(narrator) Started her journey off with a strong first step Heard that.
That is what I call a signature dish.
Whoo! (narrator) And never slowed down.
Chicken's nailed.
Salmon's cooked beautifully.
- Delicious, rustic, charming.
- Mm-hmm.
(narrator) Not one to shy away from confrontation - Listen to me for one second.
- Oh, come at me because I [bleep.]
helped you on seafood.
(narrator) She backed up her attitude with solid skills in the kitchen.
That is cooked absolutely beautifully.
(narrator) Never once being put up for elimination.
You have just got stronger and stronger.
[sobs.]
I'm here to stay.
(narrator) Ryan You're telling me how you like to do things.
That's fine.
I'm telling you how we like to do things.
(narrator) The 29-year-old sous chef from Traverse City, Michigan - Nicely cooked, the chicken.
- Thank you, Chef.
(narrator) From the beginning, took the road less traveled.
Is that a spider? - Oh, yeah.
- There you go.
It was just furry and brown [crunching.]
And crunchy.
(narrator) She started off quiet I need to hear your voice.
Yes, Chef.
(narrator) Letting her talents do the talking.
It's a Asian-inspired chicken breast.
- I would say the Red Team's best effort.
- Thank you, Chef.
I think people are really starting to realize that I'm a force to be reckoned with.
(narrator) But with a change of teams Red Team, who's it gonna be? It's me, Chef.
(narrator) Came a change in attitude.
I don't want blood on my steaks.
Get the [bleep.]
out of here.
I don't care if you want to be a baby about it.
I can say whatever the [bleep.]
I want.
(narrator) And she transformed herself into a formidable leader.
I want you cutting and picking out the best pieces.
Heard that.
I'm not gonna let anything screw me up at this point.
(narrator) Tonight these two young mothers - Mommy! - [both laughing.]
- Oh.
- Oh.
(narrator) Turned kitchen warriors I want this so bad.
And I'm not going out like a bitch.
The battle is on.
(narrator) Come to the end of their "Hell's Kitchen" journey.
I have made my decision.
This is not real life.
I think it's gonna be completely life-changing.
(narrator) Who will win the head chef position at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at The Venetian in Las Vegas and the quarter-million-dollar grand prize? Get with it.
You guys, make sure it's perfect.
(narrator) Find out right now.
Everything needs to be perfect, yeah? Push that.

(narrator) And now the conclusion of "Hell's Kitchen.
" Ryan, Heather, you are the "Hell's Kitchen" finalists.
- Congratulations.
- Thank you.
I'm so proud.
Great job.

- Thank you so much.
- You made it to the final.
Good job, huh? Great job.
- Thank you so much.
- Thank you, Chef.
- Excellent.
- Thank you.
Now get out of here.
- (both) Yes, Chef.
- Thank you.
Enjoy the moment.
I'm in the finals, bitches! Ugh! Oh, is this real? Holy [bleep.]
.
[laughs.]
(Ryan) This moment is one of the biggest in my life, and I couldn't be more proud of myself, more grateful.
To making it to the finals.
Cheers.
Maybe the best woman win.
(Heather) This skinny little bitch next to me, I'm gonna snap her like a twig.
I don't see Ryan as competition or a threat.
She has no chance in hell.
Oh, man.
(Heather) Here we go.
["Fire" by Ohio Players.]
- Oh! - (Gordon) Hurry up! Fire, ugh - [screams.]
- The way you walk and talk (Gordon) Scallops.
Where are they? Really sets me off to a full alarm, child [evil laughter.]
- Oh! - (Gordon) Come on, guys, please! - When you're hot you're hot - [both scream.]
You really shoot your shot - You're dyn-o-mite, child - (Gordon) Get out! Yeah The way you squeeze and tease - Knocks me to my knees - (Gordon) Where's the bass? 'Cause I'm smoking, baby, baby [slo-mo yell.]
Well, I can tell by your game (Gordon) Hey, hey, hey.
Come here, you.
Come here! You're gonna start a flame (Gordon) It's just mistake after mistake after mistake! Love, baby, baby - Whoo! (Gordon) It's just raw! Raw! Fire, yeah - (Gordon) Pathetic.
- Fire That's what I said, child [dramatic music.]
(Aaron) Good morning.
- Oh.
- All right.
(Ryan) Aw, you guys! You guys are awesome.
(narrator) It's only 36 hours until the final dinner service, and the sous chefs not only deliver breakfast to the dorms, they are ready to do whatever they can to support Heather and Ryan.
All right, so first course.
As far as the apps go, you know, I have the orzo risotto.
There's nice fat cap.
I just like fatty things.
I want this menu to show my heart, my passion on a plate.
So we, like, marinate the strawberries, yeah? Yeah.
So salmon cake, crab cake, shrimp cake.
Yes.
My menu, I wanted to be like a nice home cooked meal.
Kind of like a cayenne mayo? Yeah, so it's inside, and then I can top it with just a little dollop.
I am ready to execute and make it my own.
So Chef Ramsay has a really, really great gift for you guys.
You guys are gonna get a makeover and new outfits at the Ken Paves Salon, and then after, he's gonna take you to see a new musical.
- [both laughing.]
- What? Okay? So you guys have 15 minutes to get ready.
- Okay.
- And have a good day, yeah? Ken Paves is the hair stylist to the stars, and he's gonna be working with my mophead of hair.
I am the luckiest girl on Earth right now.
Hi, ladies.
- Hi.
- How's it going? I'm Ken.
- Awesome.
- You ready to get turned out? - Yes.
- Yes, I am.
- Yeah? - [laughs.]
- How fun is this gonna be? - Yes.
Out of the kitchen and into my kitchen.
Yes.
I don't know how to do my hair.
I don't know how to do makeup.
So this is all of my wildest dreams come true.
I want to start with something sort of tight.
- Yes.
- Yeah.
- Let's do this.
- Let's do it.
- I kind of like this.
Do you? - I do.
Show off these heels.
(Ryan) I can't stop smiling.
Like, literally, I'm gonna pee my pants.
- Wow.
- Wow.
[laughter.]
I feel like a [bleep.]
princess right now.
You both look incredible.
- (both) Thank you.
- (Gordon) O-M-G.
Heather looks like a giant, you know, towering evil princess.
So we got an amazing musical tonight.
It's starring Rob Morrow, and we'll go backstage and get a chance to meet him.
- Oh, wow.
- Yeah.
I can't wait to go see a musical, especially with Chef Ramsay.
I'm excited for a night out on the town.
(Gordon) Have you been to a musical before? It's one of my most favorite things in the entire universe.
This is literally the best day ever.
- [laughs.]
- Well, this is incredible.
- The theater's beautiful.
- Chef, you're spoiling us.
[laughs.]
(Gordon) Driver, are we here? How cool is that? (Heather) It's amazing, Chef.
(Ryan) Awesome.
It's the coolest.
We drive by.
We don't stop at the front door.
Chef Ramsay has us go backstage.
How are ya, bud? You good? Excellent.
(Heather) We get to meet Rob Morrow.
Hello? He's the [bleep.]
star of the show.
- Good evening.
How are you? - Oh, Gordon Ramsay.
And I'm with "Hell's Kitchen" finalists.
- Yeah.
- We're guests of Rob Morrow.
- Straight down the hallway.
- Straight down? - Yes.
- Thank you.
- Thank you very much.
- Excellent.
So when the last time you were at a musical? - It's been years, Chef.
- It's been years.
- It's been years.
- Oh, there he is, there he is.
Before you watch anything, baby I'm not kidding.
[chuckles.]
- No way! - I know you're busy.
How are you, sir? Are you well? Dude, I didn't think you were coming.
- I sent you the tickets.
- Oh, man.
Thank you so much.
Good luck tonight.
Big night tonight.
Congratulations.
- Yeah.
Yeah.
- I'd like to introduce you to our "Hell's Kitchen" finalists.
- What's up, girls? - This is Heather and Ryan.
- Hi.
Nice to meet you.
- Nice to meet you guys.
Hi.
I'm Ryan.
Nice to meet you.
I just got to go deal with some wardrobe stuff, and I'll meet you there, but my daughter's in there.
- You remember Tu? - I do.
- She's like this now.
- Is she here? Oh, wow.
- Okay.
See you in a minute.
- I'll see you in two seconds.
- Okay.
Thank you.
- Thank you.
Right, I always have a philosophy about Never enter a dressing room without knocking.
- Yes.
- Okay.
Tu, it's Gordon.
Tu? Tu? - [cheers and applause.]
- Oh.
Oh, my [cheers and applause.]
Thank you.
Ah! Hi! Hi.
[laughs.]
[both laughing.]
I think it's only fitting that I make something very clear.
Ryan and Heather, you are not here to see a show.
You are the show! - Oh, boy.
- Oh, okay.
Thanks, Chef.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like you all to join me in thanking this incredible man, Rob Morrow.
That was brilliant.
Absolutely brilliant.
- Thank you so much.
Well done.
- Bye, girls.
Good luck.
Bye.
Thank you.
Thank you, Rob.
Ladies, you are about to embark on your final challenge.
You both have exactly one hour to create four stunning dishes.
Your 60 minutes starts now.
[cheers and applause.]
Why the hell did you just have us get pampered for four hours just to go sweat our asses off? - Hi, Chef.
- There she is.
Good afternoon.
How are you? Actually, the minute I put my chef whites on, I feel more comfortable, because this is what I wear.
This is who I am.
This is what I do.
I'm gonna start my orzo risotto.
I'm just gonna get these veg rocking.
(narrator) In this final challenge, Heather and Ryan have just 60 minutes to prepare one hot appetizer and three entrées One featuring fish, one with beef, and one with chicken.
[crowd chanting.]
Ryan.
Ryan.
Ryan.
Ryan.
Ryan.
Ryan.
Ryan.
[cheers and applause.]
- How are you feeling? - Good, Chef.
Sorry we're not going out to dinner.
That's all right.
Got to focus on those four dishes.
Yes, Chef.
- 30 minutes to go, yeah? - Heard.
I'm mad at Chef Ramsay for lying to me and telling me he's taking me to a musical.
Why, Chef Ramsay? - How are you feeling? - Good.
- Yeah? - Mm-hmm.
You've really got to nail this.
I want this win so bad.
I have no room for error.
I have to put up four perfect dishes.
- Just under five minutes to go.
- Heard.
[cheers and applause.]
Kale, the curried cauliflower, and then the beef on top.
Chicken jus is ready.
(all) Five, four, three, two, one.
Let's go.
[cheers and applause.]
Go! (Gordon) "Hell's Kitchen" finalists, Heather and Ryan.
Welcome back.
Ladies, feeling confident? - (both) Yes, Chef.
- Yeah? Before we begin, there's something you should know.
[crowd grumbling.]
- Yeah, Chef? - This year, we're gonna change things up.
(man) No way! That's right.
Here's how it's gonna work.
(Gordon) "Hell's Kitchen" finalists, Heather and Ryan.
Welcome back.
Before we begin, there's something you should know.
This year, I need to change things up.
Here's how it's gonna work.
The winner of each round will immediately get to choose one of the Hell's Kitchen returning chefs there and then.
[cheers and applause.]
Ah, sneaky, sneaky.
It is crucial that I win as many of these rounds as possible so I can pick the strongest brigade and win.
Here are this year's "Hell's Kitchen" chefs, ladies and gentlemen.
[cheers and applause.]
Koop, welcome back, bud.
Shaina.
[cheers and applause.]
(Gordon) Wendy.
(Gordon) Devin.
(Gordon) Andrew.
Kimberly.
Paulie.
And Heidi.
Welcome back.
Let's begin.
First up to judge your appetizers.
He is the chef owner of République, Walter Manzke.
[cheers and applause.]
Good to see you.
- Good to see you.
Are you well? - Good to see you.
Let's start off with Heather.
Describe your dish to Chef, please.
Thank you.
Chef, for you, I have a shrimp, salmon, and crab cake with a little bit of frisée and microgreen salad with a lemon vinaigrette.
Beautiful.
Nice and crispy.
Salad's dressed well.
- Happy? - Happy, very happy.
- (Gordon) Nice.
Nice, nice, nice.
- Thank you, Chef.
- [cheers and applause.]
- (Gordon) Great.
Good job.
Ryan, please describe your dish to Chef.
I have a creamy orzo risotto with a little bit of asparagus.
I finished it off with an herb goat cheese, and then I have butter-poached shrimp on top.
Very clean, simple.
Shrimp are good.
I wish the kale was cooked a little more.
Two strong efforts.
Is it Heather's appetizer or Ryan's? Which one did you prefer? I think Heather took a big risk, and I think the execution of it was there.
Heather, congratulations.
Well done.
Oh, thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Congratulations.
Great job.
I got the first round, bitches.
(Gordon) Heather, it's decision time.
Who can help drive your team to victory? Okay, the reason I'm picking this person in particular, they can help run the brigade.
Gonna have to go with Andrew.
- (Gordon) Andrew? Wow.
- Oh.
Ha! [cheers and applause.]
There is no way, Heather, I'm gonna let you down.
There is no way you're losing.
They could just do me and you, Heather, and we're gonna win this [bleep.]
competition.
Hey.
I feel like she chose her boyfriend.
So Heather's stupid.
(narrator) The fish entrées are being judged by Michelin star chef, Michael Cimarusti.
- How are you? Great to see you.
- Thank you.
(narrator) Ryan is up first with a seared freshwater salmon with pearl couscous and fennel-apple slaw.
The skin's nice and crispy on the fish, which is always good, and I'm glad that you served it with the skin.
All in all, pretty successful.
- (Gordon) Salmon's cooked beautifully.
- Thank you, Chef.
(narrator) Heather has prepared seared arctic char with a brown sugar rum, Swiss chard, and parsnip purée.
Everything's lacking just a little touch of salt, but I do like the brightness of the Swiss chard.
Two very strong efforts.
Chef, is it Ryan's or Heather's? I think, because of the crispy skin and the fact that I love that nice, big block of salmon that you cooked, - I'm gonna give it to Ryan.
- Thank you, Chef.
(Gordon) Ryan, well done.
Brilliant.
Thank you.
Good to see you.
You have now earned the right to pick.
This person is the strongest competitor in my opinion and I trust her 100%.
Got to be Heidi, Chef.
[cheers and applause.]
You're going down, Heather.
You're going down.
(Heidi) Heather doesn't deserve to be in the finals, so I'm definitely gonna try to help Ryan in any way I can.
Round three.
(narrator) It's now time for the beef entrée, which will be judged by Chef Susan Feniger, owner of Border Grill and Mud Hen Tavern.
Good to see you.
(narrator) Heather presents a dry-aged rib eye with collard greens and sweet potato goat cheese au gratin.
Like, on the rib eye maybe the back could have been seared a little bit more, but gorgeous presentation.
I think it works really well.
(narrator) While Ryan puts up a filet with morels, kale, and curried cauliflower purée.
The kale's cooked really perfectly, and the meat's cooked perfectly.
The garlic, for me, might be a tiny bit strong, but these are both very interesting dishes.
Yeah.
Chef, the moment of truth.
Two very good dishes.
The rib eye Heather Or Ryan's filet? For me, the dish that works better is Heather's.
- (Gordon) Heather's.
- Yes! [cheers and applause.]
- Thank you, darling.
- Thank you.
Watch your step.
Thank you, darling.
Take that, bitch-face Ryan.
You have now won the right to make another pick.
Paulie! Paulie! Paulie! - Kim, welcome to Team Heather.
- Wow.
[cheers and applause.]
Huh? Amazing.
Amazing, amazing, amazing.
To judge the chicken round, this is a man that you definitely want to impress, 'cause it just so happens that he is the CEO and founder of Yardbird.
- Yes, Chef.
- Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome John Kunkel.
[cheers and applause.]
- Welcome.
- Yep.
How are you? Good to see you.
I present Heather.
How's it going? Nice seeing you.
- And Ryan.
- Hi.
I'm Ryan.
- How are you? - Nice to meet you.
[cheers and applause.]
- First of all, congratulations on Vegas.
- Thank you.
Place looks incredible.
I have definitely delivered two phenomenal, talented chefs, and they are so excited to be part of your team at Yardbird.
The standard is high, Chefs.
- Gotta be busy, busy.
- Yes.
This is my potential future boss of Yardbird, which specializes in chicken and poultry.
I need to win this.
Describe what it is, please.
I have a seared crispy chicken breast with a tomatillo salsa with some micro herbs along the side, and there's also some caramelized apples.
- How's it taste? - Very tasty.
There's some bold flavors in there.
It's a nice combination.
Absolutely.
Nice job, chef.
- Well done, Ryan.
- Thank you.
Good.
Thank you, Heather.
Please, describe your dish to John.
For you I have a pan-seared airline chicken breast with a little bit of truffle butter and sage.
I have a little bit of butternut squash, and then underneath I have mashed potatoes.
- Chicken's cooked nicely.
- Thank you.
The truffle butter is nice.
Vegetables have a nice bite to them.
- Excellent job.
- Thank you.
Both strong dishes we could definitely see on the menu for both of you.
- Nice.
- Thank you.
Would you choose Ryan's chicken dish or Heather's? I think one of the things that jumped out at me most, since I'm such a visual person, and to see a level of detail and refinement, it was definitely Heather's dish that jumped out at me.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
[cheers and applause.]
It's amazing.
Three out of four dishes I won tonight.
- Thank you, Chef.
- Great job.
Thank you.
Oh, glory days.
Heather, you have another pick.
Paulie! Paulie! Paulie! Shaina.
Yeah! Shaina? [cheers and applause.]
You picked you picked Shaina? Okay, we're gonna alternate now, it goes over to Ryan.
[dramatic music.]
Paulie, Chef.
- (woman) Yeah! - (Gordon) Paulie.
(woman) Yeah.
(Ryan) Paulie, you know, he's a little bit of a wild card, but I have a good feeling that he's gonna be able to come through for me.
Heather, we're at the point now where you'll make your last pick.
Whoever you do not pick automatically goes to Ryan's team.
All right.
Um Devin, get on my team.
- [cheers and applause.]
- (Gordon) Wow.
This is my total dream team, and I cannot be more proud.
(Gordon) Koop and Wendy, please come and join Ryan's team.
Thank you.
(Ryan) I am happy with my team.
I didn't want to get stuck with Shaina, and I didn't want to get stuck with Devin.
I'm happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, join me on congratulating these two phenomenal chefs, Ryan and Heather.
Well done, guys.
[cheers and applause.]
- All right, come on.
- Come on, guys, here we go now.
I really need you three working together, and I need Paulie on your A-game.
Why do you say me on my A-game? Because you're on your own.
You're on hot apps.
You're not part of the trio.
I worked with Ryan.
I mean, she doesn't listen to anybody's input.
Should we start with my ideas? [laughs.]
No.
(narrator) While Ryan is taking charge of her brigade What I'm gonna do is I want to put the whole menu out there, and then get everybody's feedback on what should go where.
(narrator) Heather appears to be more open to listening to hers.
Who's comfortable where? I think whatever the hardest station is, I think I should take.
I'm the best on the line.
I don't care what anybody says.
I'm the best on the line.
Classic Andrew.
He's overbearing and everything, and I think he's gonna be a distraction on Heather's team.
Whatever the hardest station is, I should take.
[dramatic music.]
(narrator) Coming up What am I getting out of this [bleep.]
? Nothing.
(narrator) Will Paulie be able to take orders from former rival Ryan? Paulie, it's all right.
You know what? It's not all right.
(narrator) And will he actually do something Feel this, man.
Are you sabotaging her? (narrator) To keep her from winning? If we lose, if we win, eh.
Paulie, let me talk.
(narrator) With not much separating the two finalists, tonight is the dinner service that will determine who wins "Hell's Kitchen" That's just your little tiny salad for the crab cake trio.
(narrator) And both Heather and Ryan are gearing up for the fight of their lives.
We don't need avocados for anything else, right? - Nope.
- Okay.
So Andrew, you know you're gonna go with these instead, right? Whatever you want, Heather.
It's your show.
I'm just living in it.
I like that.
(Devin) For the rest of your life.
- Oh, my God.
- Oh, man.
Andrew sees money in Heather's eyes and he's gonna try to hop on those coattails and get a job in Vegas.
Devin, we already picked the ring out.
(Devin) Oh, yeah.
(Heather) [laughs.]
I need you to split that.
Paulie, focus.
Okay, do you understand what I'm saying? Okay.
I'll snap you all night, boy.
If she wins, she wins $250k.
If I help her win, what do I get? Zip zero.
I don't give a [bleep.]
.
I don't give a [bleep.]
.
Why the [bleep.]
am I wasting my time? Hey, Ryan.
I don't a [bleep.]

Both of you ask Marino to open Hell's Kitchen.
Marino.
Marino.
- Yes, Chef? - Open Hell's Kitchen.
Open Hell's Kitchen, Marino.
Si, Chefs.
Prego.
- Thank you.
- Thank you, sir.
[dramatic music.]
(narrator) It's the final dinner service in Hell's Kitchen, and the dining room is filling up with people eager to sample the finalists' unique dishes.
All: One, two, three, Heather.
Thanks, guys.
(narrator) Heather's rustic menu features a pan-seared arctic char with parsnip purée, a chicken breast with Israeli couscous, and a roasted sea bass and farro.
- We got it for you.
- Thank you.
Don't worry about it.
(narrator) Ryan's sophisticated menu features a chicken breast with salsa verde, braised pork belly with crispy Brussels sprouts, and a grilled filet mignon with curried cauliflower.
Order in, guys.
It's a two-top.
Four-top, sorry.
Two risotto, two meatballs.
- Heard.
- Heard.
I want to get these apps out strong, okay? Got you, girl.
Chef Heather, this is Naomi Grossman.
She's an actress, and another four-top for you.

We got a four-top.
Two ravioli, two scallop.
All: Heard.
Another four-top in.
Two tuna, two sea food cake.
All: Heard.
She called out another four-top at the same time.
That is not an easy task in Hell's Kitchen.
All right, I'm ready to fire the two tuna going with the two scallops.
- No.
No.
No.
- No? All right, I'll hold off.
Are you sending two four-tops at the same time? Wow.
I've never seen that before.
She called the two four-tops at once.
She's just trying to get ahead and make herself look good.
All right, guys.
Come on, push.
Thank you.
Guys, I got the raviolis up there.
Coming.
I'm coming up with the scallops.
- Andrew.
- Yes? We're sending two four-top appetizers, and it's all hitting the window at the same time.
- Yeah, we got to slow it down.

This is not the time for a stupid error on my end.

Just like, "Oh", just send me more [bleep.]
!" Look at me.
Get a grip.
- Perfect one table at a time - Yes, Chef.
'Cause right now, your brigade and your timing is terrible.
All right.
(narrator) Having heard Chef Ramsay's wake-up call - loud and clear - 31.
(narrator) Heather is delivering her first appetizers to the dining room.
Meanwhile, over in the Blue Kitchen, Ryan wants to know.
How long on those meatballs and two risotto? Paulie? Paulie, I need an answer.
You got two more minutes on the two meatballs.
Paulie, I'm not joking around with you anymore.
You are working for me.
This is my ass on the line.
Going up with the meatballs.
Come here.
Just touch that.
- It's cold.
- No, it is not cold.
It's [bleep.]
ice cold.
It's [bleep.]
ice cold.
Paulie, I need you up here right now, please.
I'm embarrassed.
You know, that is cold.
I cannot take this right now.
Feel this, man.
It's ice cold.
Now, hey, I got a question in front of your chef: Are you sabotaging her? - No, I am not sabotaging her.
- It's [bleep.]
ice cold.
I'm trying my best to help her.
Ice cold meatballs is not trying your best.
These are fine.
Don't do that again.
I don't give a [bleep.]
.
I'm gonna do my best.
If we lose, we win, eh.
What am I getting out of this [bleep.]
? Nothing.
I'm doing it [bleep.]
out of love.
- Paulie, please.
- Thank you very much.
If we win, you think she's gonna break bread, share some of that money with me? [bleep.]

Here you go.
Much better, Paulie.

(narrator) And they're now getting ready to move on to entrées.
- Ryan.
- Yes? - Heather, 30 seconds.
- Yes? We're halfway through service, - and you both have issues.
- Both: Yes, Chef.
Right now, it's neck-and-neck, and how you deal with this is gonna determine a lot for me.
- Both: Yes, Chef.
- So you need to run - your brigades.
- Both: Yes, Chef.
- Let's go.
- Both: Yes, Chef.
Let's get into entrées.
We're off to a good start.
Keep it going.
I am not feeling comfortable that it's neck-and-neck at all.
I want to be blowing her out of the water.
All right, guys.
We're gonna finish strong, yeah? - All: Yeah.
- Got it.
Okay.
Four-top in.
Two sea bass, two rib eye.
- All: Heard.
- Thank you.
It's time to push and it's time to go full-blown.
Walking with two rib eye.
Heard.
Walking up with two rib eye.
Go.
Right behind you, Chef.
Here you go, Chef.
- Hot.
- Thank you.
Two sea bass.
It's cold in the middle.
It's cold.
- Nope, sending it back.
- She'll come to see you.
- She's got to come to you.
- Shaina.
- Yes? - Come here.
It's a little under, Put it in for at least 30 seconds.
You need salt and pepper on this.
Oh, come on.
You get me with some salt and pepper.
(Heather) I need my team to step it up.
They are so much better than the quality and the timing that they're giving me.
Oh, dear.
Dear, oh, dear.
She's overcooked them.
- Kimberly! - Yes, Chef? (Gordon) [bleep.]
.
[sighs.]
Hey, come here.
(Kimberly) Is it a little overdone, Chef? You don't know what that is? I didn't know if it was a little off, Chef, - I didn't notice - You don't know? Wow.
- Yes, it is.
- Yeah.
Well, I didn't know - if you were talking - If you don't know now, - you'll never know.
- I do know.
- You do know.
- So you need two more? - Yes.
- You got it.
- Stat.
- You got it.
Hey.
Where's the strong girl that ran the pass when I was with you? I know.
I need to get my head back in it.
Come here.
Come here.
Andi, 30 seconds.
Come here, you.
[dramatic music.]
Oh, man, the back storage room, the Room of Doom.
It is never a good sign.
(Gordon) I know you're under pressure, but here's the thing You're just letting them dictate to you.
Yeah.
I'm not saying you have to put the fear of God into them.
They got to respond to you.
You could be nice for the next hour.
That's not gonna get you to Vegas.
Now is the moment of truth.
[exhales.]
(narrator) It's 45 minutes into dinner service, and Heather's brigade has let her down with a series of mistakes.
- You need two more? - Yes.
- You got it.
- Stat.
You got it.
Come here.
Andi, 30 seconds.
Come here, you.
(narrator) And Chef Ramsay is looking for her to turn her kitchen around before it's too late.
You're just letting them dictate to you.
Yeah.
Now is the moment of truth.
[exhales.]
I don't know what's going on Whether it's Andrew or whether it's Shaina But they are letting you down big time.
- They are.
Yes, Chef.
- Okay? And you, young lady, deserve better.
- I do.
- Okay? And you can do this.
Okay? Let's go.
- All right.
- Come on.
(Heather) I already had my wake-up call, and now it is full-on bitch mode.
Two sea bass, two rib eye! How long? Three minutes.
- Sea bass is coming? - (Shaina) Yup.
Okay, come here.
Okay, see the crisp? - It's a lot better.
- Thanks.
My brigade needs to respect me.
They need to give me properly cooked food.
I am not taking anything but the best from here on out.
My fish is dying! It's dying.
I'm walking in 30 seconds, Heather! Don't give me raw food, Kim.
Wake the [bleep.]
up, Red Team, and get your [bleep.]
together.
Can I send the sea bass and I will follow? I don't want that to die, and then I will have the steak and the collard greens up in a minute, okay? Thank you.
Sea bass gone, Kimberly.
Walking right now, Chef, with steaks.
- I would run if I was you.
- We're good? - All right, Heather.
- Or not.
[dramatic music.]
- Huh? - Yeah.
- Yeah? It's raw, no? - Needs to be flashed, yeah.
- Ugh.
- Come on, Kim, You're giving me raw meat, man.
Are you kidding me? They've been in the pan forever.
Get it back in! - Excuse me.
- Yes, Chef? - Are you okay? - Yeah.
Don't you know how to cook a rib eye? Obviously not.
Kim is completely screwing me right now.
You've done it in other services brilliantly.
- Chef, I'm trying my best.
- Oh, my God.
Those [bleep.]
rib eyes suck.
I've never, ever not been able to cook [bleep.]
meat.
- Guys, let's go, push it.
- You got it, Heather.
- You got it.
- Kim, I know you are better than this.
(narrator) While Heather gives Kim another shot at the rib eyes, back in the Blue Kitchen We should be three minutes out, Koop.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
(narrator) Ryan looks to Wendy on fish and Koop on meat to coordinate and deliver entrées to the pass.
Here we go.
[dramatic music.]
- Ryan, the salmon's raw - Okay.
And this one is raw as well.
You, right now, have a problem on that station.
Yes, Chef.
Wendy, I need you up here, please.
- It's coming right now.
- Right now.
- Put the sauce in there.
- I'm bringing them both.
- Wendy, right now.
- Right now.
Look it.
I need it back in, right now.
Come on, Wendy.
(Ryan) This means everything to me.
My family's out there.
This is my ass on the line.
- Wendy? - Yes, Chef? You're letting her down.
Look at me.
Be poaching, Wendy.
(Gordon) Ryan can ignore it.
I'm not gonna ignore it.
Yes, Chef.
I'm sorry that I suck, guys.
(narrator) While Wendy's salmon goes back in the pan, over in the Red Kitchen Heather, how do you think? Yeah.
- Hot pan coming out.
- Put it right here.
Put it right here.
Thank you.
It's a lot better.
Kim, great bounce back.
Perfect.
Thank you.
Okay, let's go.
(narrator) While Heather's team appears to be rebounding, over in the Blue Kitchen Wendy, I need that salmon.
- One minute.
- Thank you.
(narrator) Ryan's hoping Wendy has found her groove on the fish station.
- Touch one of these.
- Make sure that it's done.
That's under.
- Here, put it back on.
- That's way under.
I'm not taking anymore not-perfect proteins.
I do not have time for this tonight, Wendy.
I just don't.
- Koop.
- Yeah? - I know you can do fish, yes? - Yeah.
Okay.
Wendy, I'm probably gonna have you move over to pork belly and meatballs, all right? Behind, behind, behind, behind, behind.
Wendy, I got this [bleep.]
, yo.
Move.
Move.
You want it done? You want it done right? You Koop to do it.
Koop and Wendy have switched sides and they are completely up to speed with what's going on.
Thank God for that.
I don't want Wendy to be upset that I'm moving her, but this is the most important dinner service of my life, so let's [bleep.]
move on and move forward.
Salmon walking.
Salmon.
(narrator) With Koop now in control of the fish station Let's go.
(narrator) Ryan and her brigade are making up for lost time.
Come on, guys.
Keep pushing.
(narrator) And both kitchens are now pushing entrées out to the delight of their diners.
Good.
- Right here with sea bass.
- Okay.
- Mmm! - (woman) This is so good! Worth the wait.
All right, guys.
Order in.
Two sea bass, two chicken, two rib eye.
- (man) Heard.
- Heard.
(narrator) Heather is hoping Kimberly can continue to come through on the meat station.
Can't walk with a hot pan to the pass.
I have no more sizzlers.
Heather, I have no more sizzlers.
That's fine.
Just put it down.
- Got it.
- Thank you.
Another raw rib eye.
Heather, better? Nope.
Get back here.
[bleep.]
! It's raw.
(Andrew) Come on, Kim.
Our only job is to support Heather and make her shine.
- Two minutes.
- Come on.
- I knew - It's raw.
- Come on.
- How many more minutes? Oh, my God.
- I'm flashing it.
- Let's go.
Heather, can you do the honorable thing? [dramatic music.]
(narrator) It's an hour and a half into the dinner service that will determine who wins "Hell's Kitchen," and for the second time tonight, Kimberly has just delivered a raw rib eye.
Can you do the honorable thing? (narrator) Forcing Heather to think and act quickly.
- Kim.
- Yes? Get off meat.
Devin, take over.
- All right.
- Get over there.
- (Heather) Kim, you're going on dessert.
- Heard.
I cannot fix the past on this dinner service, but I can finish strong, and that's exactly what I'm gonna do.
How long on that rib eye? Devin? You need one rib eye, mid-rare, correct? - Yes.
- No, the one that's in the pan.
I'm gonna talk to the Chef.
Give me two minutes on this rib eye.
Two minutes.
(Devin) Let's just finish the service.
I can handle this.
Give me a minute to un[bleep.]
this station, and let's knock this out the park.
We're counting down one minute on two chicken, two bass.
- Two bass, one minute.
- Heard that.
One minute, two chicken, two bass.
I'm ready to go on that, Devin.
I need this food! I need it out now! Heard.
We got you, Heather.
Walking with the rib eye.
- Two sea bass walking.
- Two bass.
Thank you.
- We good? - Yep.
(narrator) It looks as if Heather's decision to switch stations was a good one Let's go.
(narrator) As entrées are now moving briskly out of her kitchen, and both kitchens are pushing out their final tickets.
- Three minutes to the window.
- Heard.
You guys, make sure it's perfect, last table.
Everything needs to be perfect, yeah? - (all) Yes, Chef.
- Thank you.
I want that couscous.
Get the nuts in there.
Walking with garnish.
- I'm right with it.
- Filet walking.
Looks good.
Thank you.
This is amazing.
- Come on, Devin.
- 15 seconds, Chef.
That portion over here, okay? What good flavor this is.
Yeah.
Help Wendy with desserts, all right? Yeah, heard.
Both kitchens did have a difficult evening, but the most important thing is you held your composure from start to finish, and that's what great head chefs do.
- Thank you, Chef.
- Thank you.
But now, I want to sit down and examine these customer comment cards very carefully, and I can tell you right now, this will not be an easy decision.
So take your brigades back to the dorm, and then I will call you when I have my decision.
- Yes, Chef.
- Yes, Chef.
- Ladies, well done.
- Both: Thank you, Chef.
- Good job, guys.
- Good job.
Come on, guys.
[cheers and applause.]
Good job.
I'm proud of everything that I did.
- I have faith in you.
- Thank you.
Even the mess ups, even the mistakes.
I'm proud of the way that I bounced back and I'm proud of how far I pushed myself.
We did it.
We both deserve it, so good luck.
Oh, my God.
This is mind-racking.
Oh, good job.
I just need a hug, 'cause it's been a long day.
Oh, you'll be all right.
Come on, now, you're gonna win.
[suspenseful music.]
And that, young lady, is my first five of the night.
- [cheers and applause.]
- Thank you, Chef.
The first chef receiving their black jacket: Heather.
Great job.
- Thank you, Chef.
- (Ryan) Yes, Heather.
- Kim.
- Yes? Get off meat.
Devin, take over.
- All right.
- Get over there.
- Kim, you're going on dessert.
- Heard.
Hmm.
Why Hell's Kitchen? I did this for my four-year-old daughter.
I'm gonna show that you don't have to work at a job that you hate.
You can find what you love to do.
- Five.
It's five.
- Thank you, Chef.
(Ryan) Before I went to culinary school, nobody wanted to hire me in the kitchen based on the way that I look.
They always wanted to make me a waitress and I was the worst waitress in the whole world.
The winner: Ryan.
Absolutely brilliant.
Koop, I know you can do fish.
Wendy, I'm gonna have you move over to pork belly and meatballs.
Behind, behind, behind, behind, behind.
Hmm.
This is [bleep.]
crazy.
I'm just gonna shove my door if it doesn't open.
Just like [grunts.]
"But, no! Come on!" Just walk through the glass.
[bleep.]
kick it.
"I win, too.
" I just come out just bleeding, like Victory.
[phone ringing.]
[clears throat.]
[phone ringing.]
Hello, This is Ryan.
(Gordon) Hi, Ryan, could yourself and Heather make your way to my office? I've made my decision.
- Thank you.
- Yes, Chef.
[dramatic music.]
Time to go.
Good luck to you.
Ladies.
Yes, Chef? Welcome.
Ryan, your creativity has been so strong across this entire competition.
Three times, your dish was ranked best overall in the challenge.
So when you're on your game, young lady, you're a tough cookie to beat.
Thank you, Chef.
- Heather.
- Yes, Chef? Young lady, you have been the most consistent performer - here in Hell's Kitchen.
- Thank you.
And it's clear you have a great palate, and you were the first chef to earn your black jacket.
Proud moment, Chef, very proud.
Ladies, I have made my decision.
And right now, I'd like both of you to step up to the door.
[suspenseful music.]
My heart's pounding out of my chest.
I feel nauseous, but I feel very confident that I am going to win "Hell's Kitchen" for my son.
Good luck, Heather.
Good luck, Ryan.
I want this door to open so bad.
I've worked my ass off.
This would mean everything for me and my daughter.
I think it's gonna be completely life-changing.
The chef whose door opens will become the winner of "Hell's Kitchen" with $1/4 million.
Ryan and Heather, very carefully place your hands on the door handle in front of you.
On the count of three, I want you to turn the handle.
One.
Two.
Three.
[cheers and applause.]
[dramatic music.]
[suspenseful music.]
(Gordon) The chef whose door opens will become the winner of "Hell's Kitchen" with $1/4 million.
On the count of three, I want you to turn the handle.
One Two Three.
Ahh! - [cheers and applause.]
- Aah! [confetti cannon fire.]
Oh, my God! Your mama won! Your mommy won! Whoo-ooo! Oh! I just won "Hell's Kitchen!" I won! Everything was worth it.
[cheering continues.]
Heather, well done.
Come here, you.
Get that head up high.
Well done, my love.
Thank you.
Okay.
I'm gonna need tissues.
[cheers and applause continues.]
Okay.
At the end of the day, I made it to the finale, so I'm proud of myself, and I'm proud of the job that I've done here.
Good job.
Good job.
Thank you.
You have not seen the last of Heather at all.
(Gordon) They're all waiting for you.
[sobbing.]
- Hi, Sophie! - Mama! Oh, my gosh! [laughing.]
You are the best.
You understand this? Am I dreaming? (Ryan) I came so far, I worked so hard to push myself through culinary school, to be single mom, and now to be sitting here as the winner of "Hell's Kitchen.
" Gah! I am the proudest woman ever.
Oh, my God, this is the best thing ever.
Uh, this is unreal.
Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for "Hell's Kitchen" winner Ryan! Yeah, Ryan! [whistling.]
[spritely playing.]
Thank you so much! I can't I don't have a lot of words right now.
I'm so I'm thankful.
I'm so proud of myself.
- I'm proud of you, Heather.
- I'm proud of you, too.
And thank every single one of you for going though this crazy journey with me.
[cheers and applause.]
(Gordon) Well done.
Good job.
This is absolutely incredible.
To see Sophie celebrating and to see her face and to see how proud of me she is, it means more than words can ever say.
Excellent.
Well done.
(man) Yeah, Ryan! Well done.
(Gordon) Early on, I challenged Ryan to find her voice, and once she proved to me that she could command a kitchen, there was no stopping her.
- Great job.
- Thank you, Chef, thank you.
(Gordon) She has the tenacity, drive and skill that will make her a great head chef at Yardbird Southern Table and Bar at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
["Fire" by Ohio Players.]
Fire - I love you.
- How much? - A 100! [laughs.]
- A 100? - You did great.
- Thank you.
You really did.
You must be so happy.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
I am so happy.
Congratulations.
You have an amazing daughter.
- Thank you.
- Are you happy? Did your mommy win? How about a high five? She did an amazing job.
Good girl! Hey, girl! I am so proud of you.
You are amazing! I'm gonna come and [bleep.]
visit.
Oh, my God, oh, my God, Oh, my God! Oh, my God.
Oh, I'm so excited.
Oh, my God, I was rooting for you, girl.
Did you see me throw my hands in the air? So [bleep.]
awesome.
- Thank you, guys.
- Good job, Ryan, good job.
You too, you too.
Oh, my gosh.
(Ryan) Aah! [laughter.]
Come on! Let me go! Oh, thank you.
Thank you.
(woman) "Hell Kitchen" 16, guys! - All right, good job.
- Good job, Ryan! You did it, kid, you did it!
Push that.
Oh, come on.
(narrator) And now the conclusion of "Hell's Kitchen.
" Ryan, Heather, you are the "Hell's Kitchen" finalists.
- Congratulations.
- Thank you.
I'm so proud.
Great job.
Come here.
Well done.
- Ohh.
- Ah.
Hey, Ryan.
I don't a [bleep.]
about you! Okay, Heather, are you ready? - Yes, Chef.
- Ryan.
- Four-top? - Prego.
Okay.
Guys, first ticket in.
- What temperature are the customer expecting to get their food? [bleep.]
.
Oh, [bleep.]
.
This is not the time for a stupid error on my end.
- No.
- You can [bleep.]
around all you want.
[bleep.]
no, but I'm not gonna let the ship sink.
Here you go.
Much better, Paulie.
Thank you.
(narrator) With Paulie's second batch of meatballs meeting Ryan's standards All right, I have three scallops, two risotto.
Heard.
(narrator) Both kitchens are now delivering appetizers at a steady pace.
Okay, this is 41.
Thank you.
Scallop salad.
Okay.
Let's go, walk it.
(Ryan) Push that.
Mmm! It's good.
Wow.
- Good? - Yeah, really good.

The first chef receiving their black jacket: Heather.

- Kim.

I'm just gonna shove my door if it doesn't open.
Just like [grunts.]

Thank you, Chef.
- Heather.
- Yes, Chef? Young lady, you have been the most consistent performer - here in Hell's Kitchen.
