After her arrest and then her indictment, Catalina took her own life here tonight, as investigators really closed in on a decades-long sex-for-housing scandal.
Sources say Catalina's empire began to collapse weeks ago when several women disclosed to SVU detectives they'd been coerced into sexual relationships with city workers, housing management, and elected officials.
