If it is, it ain't mine.
I'm telling you that now.
Oh, well, if I find some up underneath that house, it's going to be yours.
No it ain't.
Yeah, it is.
How? Because you're the last person up underneath that house.
- But that's it's a lot - Get in the car.
It's a lot of people come to this house late night.
Okay.
Late night.
I be seeing drug activity come from this house every night, but I just don't say nothing because I'm I keep it moving.
All right.
Well, I'll send, I'll send c&t to talk to you.
Now this gonna be the breakdown moment in my life of snitching.
Okay.
My first time.
Now, it was something under there, but it ain't mine.
What's under there? It, it looked like it was a bag of weed.
Like a bag of weed? Yeah, like When I, when you pulled up on me.
One, two ounces? Nah, it wasn't no ounces.
- It was just like - Pounds? Nah, it ain't of a pound, it's a Probably probably four grams.
Four grams? - Because when you pull up on me - Uh-huh.
I was right by it when I went under there.
You were right by it? Right by it.
Okay.
Oh, for real! I put that on my momma grave, my niece grave.
Okay.
I did not do that.
He's coming out right now, um He went back up underneath there and got the dope.
There we go.
Bingo.
This is what he claims he got up underneath the house and had, so Claims it's four grams.
We'll put it on the scale and find out.
That what I seen.
That's your four grams? That ain't mine.
I said it looked like, it looked like it about four grams right there, 'cause I looked at it.
When you came under.
I swear to God, on my On my momma's grave.
I ain't lying to you, 'cause I won't lie.
I'm out on bond, I won't sit here and lie to you about nothing.
I ain't trying to go back to jail.
I'm on the straight and narrow road to success.
Straight and narrow? I am! Smoking weed? - But my my - Smoking weed ain't straight and narrow.
I gonna buy but, no, you know, you know what I'm saying.
You work, you get off, you do your little, you know, everybody do, do they little dirty dirtiness.
Some people drink.
Some people smoke.
Some people sniff, some people smoke dope.
Yeah, but out of all that you just said, drinking's the only thing that's legal.
Drink, yeah.
But that, that's illegal.
Yeah.
You know, and I just made a dumb mistake.
All right, well, slide back up in there.
What? 'Cause you're going to jail.
For what? Running.
And that right there, too? And dope, yup.
- I ain't had that, so how come - Yeah, you did.
I I swear to God.
Okay, well, the judge can decide it.
I'm not gonna argue with you about it here.
- Hey, but I'm saying - I'm not going to argue with you about it out here.
Slide back.
So he's going to jail.
Hopefully, he'll go on the straight and narrow like he's claiming that he's been doing.
I've been in the sheriff's department for 11 years.
I have my private pilot's license and I like to fly.
So I would someday like to move over to our aero division.
Possibly fly the helicopter and help the patrol officers locate suspects and search areas and stuff like that.
We're responding to a call for Roseville PD.
They were in pursuit of a red harley Davidson motorcycle.
He's a domestic violence suspect.
And they followed him down to our area and they asked us for an assist on the call.
Officers have found the motorcycle abandoned in the area back that we're heading to now.
And he's supposed to be on foot evading us.
The suspect's supposed to be a white male adult, about five foot, eight inches tall.
They believe he's a parolee at large and possibly armed.
There's a couple of cops up this way, so Let's get their info.
- Uh, so he is somewhere from here - Bill, that way or down the way? That way.
So as soon as he wrecked his bike right over there, he's going to be like over in this section.
Okay.
He dumped the bike here in front of this house.
Roseville police department had talked to some witnesses and believes he ran through some backyards in this direction.
We're trying to get another officer to call a perimeter to surround the area and keep him locked down.
This is the only house that we haven't searched yet.
I've had a lot of premise history with this house where we've been here numerous times for service calls over the last two years.
I've probably been here six to eight times.
Do we need a warrant to come in? Wait a second.
There's nobody in this house.
Okay, well, just to let you know, if we do find him or he leads us back to this house, both y'all can go to jail.
Just to be honest with you.
Oh, I know.
- I don't have anything to do with - You want to take that chance? With bad guys.
It's real fun right there.
I'm sorry? We're looking for a guy with a gun, and he's an extremely dangerous parolee.
All we're asking for is your cooperation.
Maybe just a little, you know, helping hand.
If there was anybody here, I would let you in and let you have him.
I mean I'd be out.
But see, my fear is that there could be a guy standing on the other side of that wall with a gun pointed at your head telling you to say these things.
No.
If there was I could go like California highway patrol K-9.
If you're out here, make yourself known.
I'll send a police dog.
We'll find you and you will be bit.
Final warning.
C.
S.
P.
K-9.
Come out now.
Come on over here and talk to me real quick, Dorothy.
Thank you for finally coming forward.
Does he have-- Does he have a firearm? I didn't see anything.
It's okay, just Sheriffs K-9.
Make yourself known.
If the dog finds you, he will bite you.
I'm thinking he needs to be tased just for all this work.
Yeah.
Go right, go right.
Forward.
Down.
Sheriff's K-9.
If you're in here, make yourself known.
Dog's going to come in.
You are going to get bit.
Front of the house, back this way.
Coming through.
Coming through.
Let me see your hands! I didn't hear Everyone back up.
Only one.
Back up, back up, back up.
Back up.
Only want one, back up.
Keep those hands, keep those hands.
Crawl to me.
Crawl this way.
Got cuffs? Put your hands down.
Put your hands down right now.
You got it? Yes, sir.
Let it go.
Under the bed.
Over.
Nice job, boys.
How do you want to do How should we? Put your knees under you.
There you go.
Sit up.
Start crawling.
Come on, lift up.
There you go.
Walk on your knees.
Are any of these your cell phones? No.
None of this property is yours on the bed? No Let's go.
I gotta say, I don't believe you right now.
Where do you want to go? All right, left leg over.
Thomas? No, that's our resident.
Put your foot up.
Stand up.
Okay.
All right.
Did you, uh, did you get a good search on him? Let's see your cuffs.
Okay, let's go.
Coming out.
Thank you for finally coming forward and letting me in.
I've been here plenty of times.
I've talked to you.
You've been very cooperative with me.
And when I started to get this sense that you didn't want to let me in your house for some reason-- that's why I started talking about there could be a guy with a gun inside.
I had a really good suspicion that he was in there.
Good.
How were you feeling at that time, I mean, when he was in there? Petrified.
Okay.
I mean, did he threaten you guys in any way, or? Uh, he said "you better be quiet.
" You know, "shh.
" Okay.
So that's when you guys just became afraid, right? Yeah.
He's all tattooed.
And I thought he was probably in a gang.
Okay.
And, you know, I don't know, we've got gang members You made mention before that he had made-- said something about that he knows people or something of that nature.
Did he tell you anything like that? Uh, no.
He just, you know, "be quiet," and You just had a sense that he knew some people, that he just looked dangerous.
Yeah.
He looks like a gang member.
And I don't know if he had a weapon.
I have no clue.
I didn't see one, but I didn't know.
All right, thanks again, Dorothy.
We appreciate it.
What-what's your first name again? Why wouldn't you give yourself up when you heard the dog outside the door? No comment.
What's that? No comment.
You have no comment.
You heard the dog coming in the door, right? You heard the dog, you heard us make our announcements.
They even said you're going to get bit if you don't give up.
You had nowhere to go.
So why would you just hide out in there? Yes, I did yell "here.
" What's that? I yelled out, "here, here.
" All right.
All right, Andrew.
He's an active parolee right now; He's probably going to be violated for his parole status.
Um, he's-- according to Roseville, got an active domestic violence charge against him at this point.
Um, they initiated pursuit on the freeway, so they've got him for evading a peace officer on the freeway.
Charging into the residence-- that's a good burglary right there, because he was unwanted.
And held them against their will for a good false imprisonment charge.
Medics are on scene.
He's got a good dog bite.
So they're going to take care of the medical on that.
- And it sounds like he's going to Roseville - And they're gonna book - him in the county jail, so - Okay, that'll work.
I work for a smaller city, crowley, louisiana.
I was able to get in the K-9 over there.
Having K-9 experience is very helpful for me.
As a K-9 handler I was sent to several schools to show me where to look, how to look, hidden compartments.
Several different things to look for.
Right now we're at a stop.
Looks like a suspicious vehicle.
I'm going to wait till the light turns, see what we got.
Check to see why this vehicle's not going.
Should have a green arrow by now.
Find out why they're not going.
All units tec Charlie.
See what the light cycle does again.
They should have went already.
Senior Officer Tyler Yeah, I'm just right here watching, make sure they don't throw anything out the window.
Two cycles it went through.
Yeah, I know.
Now they're taking off now.
I'll conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, make sure everything's all right.
Shouldn't have went through two light cycles, green arrows for them to be able to make a left turn.
They failed to do so.
Driver, exit with your license.
How you doing? You have your license on you? No, sir, I don't.
Where's it at? I have a hardship license and I left it at home.
I've got insurance and everything.
Do you have your insurance on you? Yes.
The reason why I'm stopping you is why you stayed at the light so long? You had a green arrow.
No, it was red.
But you had a You should have went through two light cycles.
No, it was red.

You have your insurance on you? Yes, sir.
You don't have any weapons inside the car? No, no.
Did you notice the arrow? No.

I'm serious.
That's why I didn't turn.
Okay.
I'm going home.
Okay.

This is my-- this is my license plate.
I didn't put it on there.
And I was supposed to turn in My buddy-- he works offshore, I work offshore.
That's my registration.

I'm talking to you.
Yes, sir.
I'm not doing nothing wrong, though.
I'm just coming from, uh, my girlfriend's house.
And I swear to God, I have not done anything wrong.
Okay.
Just Red Bull, that's it.
Why are you so nervous? - No, I'm not - Yeah, you are, 'cause you're repeating yourself too many times.
- No, I really did-- I had a Red Bull - I'm talking to you.
Okay.
You're looking at him, and I'm talking to you.
I'm sorry, sir.
Why you so nervous? Step away from your vehicle.
Nothing.
Okay.
Go to mine.
Go with this officer.
Don't reach for don't put your hands in your You're going to make a bad situation if you put your hands in your pocket.
Put your hands on that push bumper.
I'm going to pat you down.
You don't have anything sharp that's going to poke or stick me, correct? No.
All right, spread your feet.
You said that plate that's on your vehicle, that's for a friend? Yeah.
Why do you have that on your vehicle? I just didn't put it on yet.
Lazy.
Lazy? Man.
Why you don't have your license on you? I was supposed to get a hardship, and I couldn't afford it.
Aw, 'cause you have a suspended license.
Yeah.
Right.
Now you say "yeah.
" Yes, sir.
When I tell you.
Yes, sir.
You know you're not supposed to be driving, which is why you stayed at the light when it cycled for you to go.

You mind if I take a look? No, sir, I wouldn't.
Have you been drinking tonight? No.
Nothing at all? Red Bull.
Are you on any type of prescription medication? No.
Okay.
I'm tired because I stayed at my girlfriend's house and she had so much drama.
And you sat at a red light because you didn't want the police to get behind you with a suspended d.
L.
? Yes.
He's gonna go take a look inside that car for any weapons, knives, anything like that.
Besides Red Bull, you're kind of giving me some indications that you've been on a little something else, okay? If you have, we can help you.
Atac cannot.
Atac will bring you to jail.
What have you taken? I took a lortab.
How much earlier? Like three hours ago.
One lortab three hours ago? Yes, sir.
Charles, he just admitted to me that two hours ago-- two to three hours ago, he uh, popped a lortab.
So look hard for a pill.
'Cause he might have some more in the car.
He's saying there's more? He's saying there is no more, but we know from him-- speaking with him, he's not very honest.
He's saying his girlfriend gave him the pill.
Charlie.
There it is.
Why didn't you tell me that was in there when I asked you? What? One lortab Watson 540.
Listen to me, my man.
Yes, sir.
All right, I need you to put your hands behind your back, okay? You're being placed under arrest for possession of schedule 2, okay? It's a felony arrest.
You're going to be processed and booked into the Lafayette parish correctional center, all right? Okay.
In possession of it, okay? Regardless of how you got it, in possession of it, all right? Yeah.
I mean, it's no big deal, right? Why weren't you just honest with us at first? No, I told you that.
I didn't know I had that in my pocket.
She gave me a couple because my back's killing me.
You don't have a script for it? No.
No? And she does, and she told me as a friend here, she gave me a couple.
I just took one.
You just took one? And I'm tired.
So you just took one and you had one.
Yes, sir.
So this one on you? She gave you two? Yeah, and I just took one.
But she didn't-- but you didn't know you had another one in your pocket? Yeah.
I didn't know I had that.
I mean it's so simple.
But she gave you two pills and you only took one? Come on.
My back is hurting, man.
You can come have a seat.
I mean, I appreciate you cooperating, but you're going to have to take that ride tonight.
We're going to book him on felony.
That's it.
One pill.
One pill.
All off a traffic violation.
I've got him at gunpoint.
At gunpoint, 132 and bush.
Cover is code three.

Okay.
You have your insurance on you? Yes, sir.
You don't have any weapons inside the car? No, no.
Did you notice the arrow? No.
A green arrow? It was red.
I'm serious.
That's why I didn't turn.
Okay.
I'm going home.
Okay.
- No, I don't have no - Oh, what's that plate? I was supposed to turn I just bought the car.
This is my-- this is my license plate.
I didn't put it on there.
And I was supposed to turn in My buddy-- he works offshore, I work offshore.
That's my registration.
So the plate on your car don't belong on your car? No, it's a friend of mine's.
But this is my plate.
I just I just bought the car.
Talk to me.
Okay.
No.
It was red.
Are we starting over? Yeah.
You had two light phases that were green, correct? I think it was red.
Okay.
I'm sorry.
Is there anything illegal in that vehicle? Oh, God no.
Guns, knives, drugs? Nothing.
Nothing at all? No, sir.
