The Amazing Race (2001) s25e10 Episode Script
Smells Like Dirty Tube Socks
1 Previously on "The Amazing Race".
Five teams raced to Singapore.
At a travel agency, Kym and Alli got the upper hand.
Dentists.
We're arriving before you.
But in a Fast Forward showdown against Adam and Bethany, the cyclists wiped out.
- You got it, hon.
- We got it.
I knew we shouldn't have done this.
Go run the rest of the race by yourself if you want to call this like all my call.
Jim flipped out.
Oh, my God.
Sweet Jesus.
While the scientists lost their composure.
The soul surfers won their second leg in a row.
- You found it? - No.
And a lie by the wrestlers, I don't want to tell them for their attitude and how they were.
Sent the scientists astray.
I think Brooke and Rob lied.
But in the end, the cyclists couldn't recover from their Fast Forward gamble.
You've been eliminated from the race.
Four teams remain.
Who will be eliminated next? I secretly want her to fall so that we're first.
Not that long ago, Singapore was a swampy island.
Today, it's a rapidly growing city and home to nearly six million people.
This impressive man-made bay is where four teams will start the next leg of "The Amazing Race".
Adam and Bethany won the last leg of the race and will depart first at 2:01 PM.
Fly to Manila, Philippines.
Teams must now fly to the Philippines, made up of more than 7.
000 islands.
Once they've touched down in the capital city of Manila, they must pick up their next clue from this flower vendor.
- Oh, yeah! - Are you read for this? To the Philippines, babe.
We want to go to the travel agency.
We've had some close calls, but also some great victories.
I think we deserve to be here right now.
And I think we deserve to be on the top three coming up.
- That's legit.
- Where are we going to? We'd like to get the earliest flight to Manila.
Our last leg, we did a bad job of booking flights.
So our confidence was a little low on booking flights this leg.
You can't make those kinds of mistakes.
The nearest timing I can give you is at 7:25 tonight.
Arriving in Manila 11:00 PM.
- What airlines is that on? - Singapore Airlines.
- Nothing sooner? - No, nothing sooner.
- Should we go for it? - Yeah, seeing the options.
I hope we're not blowing it with our flights.
- You're on SQ 918.
- Thank you.
Here we go.
Fly to Manila, Philippines.
All right, let's go, babe.
See what we got in there.
I'd rather go to the airport than a travel agency, no matter what.
Why? The travel agency can give the best flight.
If you want to do a travel agent, let's do it.
I don't know if I ever thought we would be this far, you're talking about two people who aren't the smartest of the whole group.
We need tickets to the Philippines.
We're in a race for a lot of money, very important.
We're directionally challenged.
We're confused at what continent we are in most of the times.
- And we're on the final four.
- We're in this thing.
Pro wrestler, bro.
I have the SQ 1925, you should be ok.
- What are time is that? - It's 7:25.
- Tonight? - Tonight.
- When do you get there? - 11:00 PM.
Are you positive that's absolutely the only flight? Yeah, of course.
- What airline is it? - Singapore Airlines.
Is there a lot of seats left on that flight? - Not too many.
- Ok, rob, book it.
We'll take it.
Leg 10 and 11, we break everybody else's spirit.
- Let's do it.
Let's go.
- Let's do it.
It doesn't say travel agency or airport or anything.
- No, we go to the airport.
- Yes.
Taxi! Can you take us to the airport? We're in a race.
We're in a race for $1 million.
So as fast as you can get.
The last leg, we made a huge mistake by following another team.
We will not make that same mistake again.
Which terminal? The international, we're going to the Philippines.
This mistake definitely helped to refocused us.
We've blown other teams out in the Roadblocks and the Detours, and we're going to close this thing out with victories.
- Fly to Manila, Philippines.
- Yes, Philippines! We're going to the Philippines.
We need to know some flights, so if we can call a travel agency, while we're on our way to the airport, that would be helpful.
We're like the underdogs here, we're the non-athletic team.
We look like pee wees compared to everyone else, it seems like.
But, even though we aren't much as a physical threat, academically we've put up a good match.
Taxi, sir.
We need to go to the airport.
Thank you, sir.
Do you have a phone we can use while we're in the car? Yes, I am calling looking for a flight.
I want to get to the Philippines as soon as possible.
We knew we were leaving in last.
And if we wanted to get out that night, as soon as possible, because we knew we'd be cutting time a little close.
We're going to make this flight tonight at 11:00.
Via Singapore Airlines.
You wanna check Air Philippines first? I want to check with a travel agent.
We need to get to Manila as quickly as possible.
- With the quickest arriving time.
- First available, please.
We're in a race for $1 million.
Oh, ok.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
Bye-bye.
Hi, we need to get boarding passes and they told us to go around here.
There are's only one available, I'm sorry.
Philippines Airlines.
Departing in Singapore at 8:10, you touchdown at 11:55.
- No connections? - Nothing.
That other flight for Singapore Airlines? - Sold out? - It's fully booked.
- That's the only one left.
- Ok.
- Rats.
- There's Brooke and Robbie.
- There's Rob and Brooke.
- Did you guys see anyone else? - No.
- You didn't see Jim and Misti? Are they after you guys? - We went to a travel agency.
- They might have got here.
- You guys got in 3:30? - 3:35.
- We got in about 1 hour after you.
- What took so long? You guys told us it wasn't there, so we went to a different park.
I don't think I knew what you were asking.
I don't think the candy girls know that I lied to them.
We thought you had it, you were in front of us.
It's every team for yourself and the last two people we're going to be scared of are a couple of candy girls.
Come on.
We thought you were trying to screw us.
Why would they screw us if they don't want the cyclists here? We were like, "No, they weren't trying to screw us.
" - You don't mess with pro-wrestlers.
- We're vicious.
We can see Robbie and Brooke at the Singapore Airlines counter.
That was the flight we were trying to get, they only left a few minutes ahead of us, and they may have stopped in a travel agency and got tickets, Whereas we chose to come to the airport and it sold out.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
They got it.
I'm so mad.
We should've went to a travel agency.
Oh, frustrating.
- What flight are the dentists on? - We don't know.
This flight had a small amount of seats, maybe they didn't get on.
- I'm confused.
- They've messed up before, guys.
I'm so surprised that the dentists are not making the same flights as us.
They just don't make mistakes like that.
But they've made two in a row, I just don't get it.
I don't see any other teams here.
It was a good feeling at first.
It felt good to think we were ahead of some of the other teams.
Now it just got in my head that maybe they got in the Singapore Air flight.
I was thinking we were ahead of two teams, - Now who knows where we are? - We're probably last.
All teams are now making their way to the city of Manila in the Philippines.
- We gotta burn out there.
- Manila craziness to begin.
Go, get past as many people.
Excuse us, sorry, sir.
Excuse us.
- Taxi? - Right here, babe! - Baclaran Church.
- Yeah, yeah.
Can you take us there fast? I don't know if we're first or second because we haven't seen the dentists, but I but I do know we're out before the surfers and the scientists.
How do you say "Hello" in Filipino? Hello, hello Philippines.
We are in the Philippines and that's awesome.
There's a lot of people out at at 11:00 p.
m.
on a Thursday.
Oh, my gosh.
There are people freaking everywhere.
- This is Baclaran Church.
- Ok.
- Keep your eyes open.
- Baclaran Church.
- Did you see anything? - No.
Do you think it's back there or in where they're going? Pick up your clue from the flower vendor at 6:30 AM.
- 6:30 AM.
- Damn it.
- This sucks.
- 6:30? - So we're sleeping here? - Ew.
I don't want to sleep here.
Pick up your clue from the flower vendor at 6:30 AM.
Alright, we just to wait here.
- There it is.
- Thank God.
- Equalized.
- That's what we thought.
Let's find somewhere to sleep.
- That's a relief.
- Thank you, Jesus.
- Clue, please.
- Thank you.
Make your way to Rosario Municipal Plaza.
Teams must now catch a ride in a jeepney, this country's most popular means of transportation.
Once they arrive in Rosario, they'll need to find Salinas Specials, where they'll receive heir next clue.
- Is this a jeepney? - Baby bus.
- Are you a jeepney? - To Rosario.
- Let's get in.
- Get in with them.
- There's one right here.
- Ok, let's go.
- We have to go to Rosario.
- Follow that one in front of you.
I like the Philippines.
This is the everyday hustle and bustle.
I like it because we're immersed in the culture.
A jeepney is like a communal taxi, and it was interesting to be part of a everyday commute.
Kids were going to school.
That's so cute.
That's how they get to school.
The locals would get on and they would pass us their money.
This is from the lady.
We'd give it to the driver and he'd give us the change.
And we would pass it back.
It was part of the community.
It really felt like we were from the Philippines at that moment in time.
I love it.
I love it.
We should bring jeepneys to the States.
- This is really interesting.
- A jeepney is I mean, hello.
- This is a stretch limo.
- Yeah.
It's actually nothing like a Limo.
Think of a Limo minus every good thing.
I can't, I can't.
What is that smell? It's a huge dumpster over here.
The smell, I don't know what it is that it's outside, it smells like dead animals, sewer.
- Puke that way.
- I can't do it.
It kind of smells like dirty tube socks.
Shut up.
I'm just trying to ignore that smell right now.
This is not as clean as Singapore.
- A different way of life.
- Yeah.
Look these kids out in the street, little kids are squatting down.
Oh, my God.
There were some little kids, maybe 4 years old squatting down in the middle of the street.
They could have easily been run over.
You take so much for granted.
When you have children and you see other children who aren't clothed, in the middle of the street, that could be hit by a car, it was just extremely humbling.
It's different when you see it in person than on TV.
It just makes it real.
This will affect us long after the race is over.
We just have so much to be thankful for.
- Let's go.
- Here we go.
Get it.
- Misti, follow them.
- Hi, where are we going? - Straight ahead.
- Salinas Specials.
- Rosario Plaza.
- Municipal Plaza.
In there? Oh, gross.
It smells like dog pooh.
We're looking for Salinas Specials.
- Is that it? - Salinas Specials.
- That's it.
- Let's go in.
Hi! How are you? - Good morning.
Thank you.
- Thank you.
- Good morning.
- Hi.
Come on, babe.
Detour: Catch or Coach.
This Detour gives teams the opportunity to work as a Filipino fisherman or assemble a side car at a local motorcycle shop.
"Catch" requires teams to wade into Manila Bay and then using a bucket, transport fish to a broker onshore.
Once they've filled three buckets about 300 pounds the broker will hand them their next clue.
"Coach" requires teams to assemble a side car and properly mount it on to a motorcycle.
When the head mechanic says it's ready to roll, he'll hand them their next clue.
- We're going to do "Coach".
- Let's do "Coach".
- We're going to catch some fish.
- We're going to do catch.
- Your want to coach? - Yeah, let's do coach.
We're going to coach.
Secure your own motor tricycle.
- You have to get on the tricycle.
- We need to ask someone.
Do you know where this is? - We can walk? Walk? - Turn right.
- Ok, ok.
- Thank you.
- Can you take us? Yeah? - Yes? - Tell him we have to go fast.
- Fast, fast, ok? - Rosario Fish Port.
- Here we go.
Yeah, buddy.
Excuse me, excuse me.
Can we come with you? We are here in.
This is crazy.
- Go, go, go, we're in a race.
- Where are they? All right.
Where are you guys going? Read the clue.
Oh, no.
Where are they going? They didn't follow the directions.
They're going to have a penalty.
Where did they go? I don't even know what street we're on.
I wish we got an address from the guy.
- This isn't right, Amy.
- We don't know how far it is.
We need to know how far this is, we can't run for days.
- Motor tricycle? - We didn't read that.
We have to go back.
That's why she said "what are you doing?" Stupid.
We didn't read the full clue.
We missed the part about getting a tricycle.
It's like "C'mon, leg ten? Guys, read your clue".
We need to go to This is nuts.
Oh, my gosh, we're in the middle of the road.
Oh, my God.
It's so gross.
Oh, my God, it's so nasty.
It's quite pleasant back here, yeah.
Is this it? This is going to reek.
We gotta search for the marked fish stall.
Where is it, babe? - Oh, it stinks.
- There it is.
There it is.
Use your bucket to bring fish from the marked Banka boats to the fish stall.
We've decided we would do all the physical challenges.
Us doing a physical challenge versus us doing small little parts, little details No.
- The one across the rope? - Up there, see it? Here we go.
Get in the water? I don't know how safe it is.
God, it's so far.
Oh, man.
This is going to be hard.
We had to go and walk along a rope.
When you're walking in water with waves, you're going slow.
The bucket you're carrying is kind of heavy.
- Good job.
- It's crazy! Fishing in the Philippines, boy! You don't know about this.
This is real work.
I would hold the bucket and Brooke had to fill it up with fish.
- Oh, my God.
- And then we would both have to walk it all the way back and poor the fish into a bucket.
And we had to fill three buckets filled with the fish.
It's so gross.
- This is it.
- Thank you.
Make sure it's the right place, yeah? Yeah, yeah, it's right over.
Choose a workstation, hon.
Hi.
Looks like this one is of our workstations.
This one looks pretty good.
It's kind of hippieish.
Our decisions are based of peace and hippie.
- Let's do this.
- Right here? - Where is the example? This? - Yeah, that's it.
So we need to find something that matches, a bike that matches.
Ah, the color.
It's the color.
- See that green one? - This one, yeah.
Quick, quick.
So in the "Coach" Detour we had to assemble a motorcycle with the side car.
We had to basically attach the side car to the motorcycle.
Between kids toys and tools putting things together is natural for me.
Direct me what you want me to do.
You're going to be the head honcho.
No problem.
I'm going to lift it and you put screws into that.
I love doing maintenance kind of stuff, seeing intricate parts.
Like "oh, no.
Gotta take that apart and put it back together.
" I was Adam's assistant.
This is not my forté.
People cheering is just like our fans.
It's an awesome moment.
It's just, fans usually boo me and cheer her.
Oh, it stinks.
I was grossed out.
I fish and do stuff like that all the time.
It was the smell around me that was so gross.
- I love fish! - By hands By hands and fill it up.
- Come on.
Rob, no.
- Oh, God.
I can't.
They're slimy.
Both of your hands.
With our hands we had to touch the fish, she got cut from them.
I don't wanna touch the slimy, I don't like touching animals, it's gross.
That was sharp.
See? They've got bones.
I think some of them are alive and they're biting! Rob was more grossed out than I was.
Oh, God.
There's like, guts and brains! I love fish.
It's here? Right now, we're just getting it done.
Just hold that in.
Hold that in.
Find a motorcycle that matches you side car, bring to your station.
- Here's the motorcycle.
- Hi, chicken.
Let me get it over here.
It's as heavy as heck.
We're pretty good at putting things together, and we figured it would be a lot of details we had to notice.
- It goes through the middle.
- And it goes into here? I don't know if this need a screw or a hammer.
I don't know my tools very well, but regardless, we just had to basically mimic what was solidified over there.
So the problem is this needs to fit inside here.
Right.
- Be careful.
- You got it, babe.
Oh, my God! Good job, Brooke.
At least we're getting cardio today.
The problem is you can't completely fill up the bucket with fish because it becomes too heavy.
- Can you do one more? - No, it's too heavy.
We need two more trips, no matter what.
While you're trying to carry it through the waves, water gets in it and then it's even more heavier and it overflows anyway and you lose all your fish.
There's too much coming out, it's overflowing.
- Rob, are you kidding me? - It's falling off.
So much for working together and being positive.
- Hold it for five seconds.
- Here we go.
- So pick it up.
- I'm trying.
Don't yell at me and pick up quicker.
We were pulling the bucket up.
- A few fish were getting out.
- A few fish fell out.
But small price to pay for getting the bucket out of the water and getting up.
He thinks we're not losing fish, but we are.
I said "Don't talk to me like that.
" And we went back and forth.
- We're just done.
- Let's just get the fish.
We're just picking fish out into a bucket, no big deal.
Usual afternoon for us.
There we go, fishies.
- Are you all right? - No, it hurt so bad, This is gross.
Damn it, I felt it was going to fill three.
Now I think we still have to do two more.
The first person to finish eats that rooster for lunch! You know, I heard that, Jim.
I do not want that rooster.
We need to put pressure forward otherwise they're not going to grab.
We put together power wheels at Christmas time.
A lot of children's toys.
This Detour is our advantage.
Misti, we're like two minutes away.
Honey, don't tight it all the way in.
Undo it.
Undo it.
Undo it all the way? I guess you can call me a girl.
I always figure, just let the guys do it.
I don't know how to do this kind of crap.
We're not mechanics by any way, shape or form.
But I actually put together this thing called homogenizer for my research.
In order to homogenizer ice cream mix.
Maybe that will help me.
That's the only thing I've put together, besides my wardrobe, but that doesn't count because no tools are involved in that.
We're killing it, right now.
We're about done all we gotta do.
All we have to do is tightening it down.
- I wonder how fishing is going.
- I know, right? We did not want to get anywhere near Philippine water.
The water here looks really gross.
Oh, my gosh.
I feel that we were pretty good at it.
We never stopped at any point, we kept moving.
Carrying a bucket of fish, no matter how fainted you are, in the water with waves, it was heavy.
It was tough, it's supposed to be.
It's "The Amazing Race.
" - Try to keep the water out.
- I can't help it, with the waves.
The big thing.
Do whatever you need to do.
It's good enough.
- Call for the judge.
- Can you judge? I know it's all right.
I've looked at everything in great detail.
I'm on top of it with the pieces.
Everything is just the way it should be.
I think we're about to get the thumbs up.
- No good.
- No good.
What's wrong? - All right.
Let's look again.
- Oh, my goodness.
The only thing I can think of are a couple of bolts that were getting loose, getting tedious to tighten.
Let's do this tire real quick.
The big bolt, a big fatty.
Thanks.
Awesome.
We're running.
I think we may have picked a blessed one.
God is on our side.
That's how it works.
I don't think the Lord cares which Tuk Tuk we decide to build.
When the rain started, we both saw it was coming, we were like "oh, no".
Oh, my God.
This is freaking awesome! I hate it, but it's awesome! I think the rain actually gave us more of like a pump.
Yeah, I'm doing this in the rain! Now I feel like a man! Because I never do anything manly or feel like a man.
It's not easier, it's harder cause it's raining now.
You can only fill it up 3/4 of the way.
When we thought we needed three trips for the buckets, we ended up having four.
Come on.
That's it.
God, this is horrible.
You all right? Feels good.
This is nice.
I didn't shower today.
- What was that? - It's like pouring rain.
- Put the wheel here.
- So lift what? I'm going to put this thing because it's easy.
Like a grease monkey.
- How's it going? - Sweating.
We got that on right.
Everything else tight? All right, that's tight like a fat girl's sock.
Judge? We got it this time.
- No good.
- No good? - Let's look again.
- Oh, my goodness.
Oh, God.
That's so gross.
This is it, baby.
- We got it.
We got it.
- This is hard.
I had a goldfish when I was younger and I fed it on time, so I know how to care for fish well.
So I just know how to handle fish really good.
I know they're dead but they're happy with the way I'm throwing them into this bucket.
You are ridic-u-lous.
- Fill it up.
- See ya! Are we hired? Come on, babe! Make your way to the rice fields in Naic.
Let's go back.
At least we're dry and we smell good.
Making a mechanic out of honeybuns.
All right, judge? Good job, babe.
That was all you.
- That was all you.
- Thank you.
Adam and Bethany just finished.
It was heartbreaking that they got out in front of us.
Good job, honeybun.
That was you.
Here we go.
Route Info.
Make your way to the rice fields in Naic.
- Good job.
- You did so good, hon.
Feels good.
Adam powered that.
That was a man's job.
Yeah, you know what yee-haw! What do you think? I have no idea.
We've got that on right.
These seats on right.
Is this supposed to be buttoned? Misti, it may be that I didn't button that.
- Did you just button it? - Yeah.
Judge? No good.
I'd love to know what we're doing wrong.
I was just shocked when we didn't get the clue right away.
We couldn't figure it out what it was.
We knew that we were extremely close.
It's just one small thing.
Almost Copenhagen all over again.
My head's about to freaking explode.
No good.
I'd love to know what we're doing wrong.
What on earth is not right here? Let me check this seat here.
I forgot to connect the shock well.
I was looking at the finest little details, and missed the giant, glaring defect staring at me.
It was a shock that I failed to attach.
Oh, my God.
- It was something big.
- Major.
- Amy, did we use all tools? - We don't have any left.
I think we're looking pretty.
- Where's the judge? - Judge? I don't think the seat's tight enough.
No good.
I think the seat needs to be tightened.
Right here.
Just keep going straight.
- Nobody's here.
- Oh, my God.
- We're in the lead? - No way.
There's no way we're first place.
There's the clue.
Babe, I don't see any other teams at all.
- God, we beat everybody.
- I cannot believe it.
Get out.
- Yes.
- This way.
We're in first place now.
We're the pro-wrestlers.
We're never in first place.
We're in the lead? - Here we go, come on.
- Brooke.
We've got to read the clue.
Brooke and Robbie will now take on an Amazing Race switchback in what might be the biggest breakdown ever.
Where's he going? My ox is broken! Come on! Water oxen have been plowing rice fields for thousands of years.
Now teams must use this time-tested method to dig up their next clue buried somewhere here in the mud.
- Holy crap.
- Let's get plowing.
We had four ox ponds to choose from.
This is going to be hard.
- We have an ox help us find our clue.
- With a plow.
I am awesome with animals.
I have no fear with animals.
Love them.
Sounds great.
Rob's really not an animal person.
Come on, honey.
Let's kill this.
My grandparents were farmers.
I've used a plow here and there.
I want the strongest one.
I like this one.
I know if it has something to do with animals, I'm going jump in and take the lead.
What is this? - Oh, mud.
- Oh, good God.
I don't know how far down we've got to go.
We've got go a different way because we've got all this.
- I think he's about to poop.
- Ox! Ox! Oh, my God! What did that thing eat? Oh, God! Oh, there was a lot more than mud and clues in that water.
Oh, my God.
- I'm so grossed out right now.
- It was messy.
- Let's go to the other one.
- Yes.
This could take hours.
Just amazing how bad of a mistake it was.
Done.
Judge? Shock helps, right? Can I hug you? Yay! I'm an idiot.
Shame that they beat us out of here.
Faster, faster.
We've got to catch that other one.
- Is it hard? You want me to do it? - No.
I don't want to freak out for the animal.
I'm not even near the animal.
Wait, wait.
Was that one? I didn't know what the clue looked like.
I didn't know if it was going to pop right up, if we were going get a little sign up and dig it up.
We had no idea.
Just dig in it.
Just dig in it, please.
Come on, babe, you're a man.
Oh, God.
- Is all of this ox poop? - No.
- We should go a little further? - Yeah.
Someone's coming.
Someone's here.
Thank you.
- Let's go.
- We're here! This is horrible.
Plow up your next clue with the help of a Philippine Water Ox.
Oh, It's in the mud.
So you guys have to find the clue in the mud? Yeah, cement, Clay, ox poop.
I believe is what we're strolling through.
Oh, my gosh.
- Which one do you want? - How about this one here? Do you like it? We picked the biggest pond.
I didn't even look.
They're going to the small.
Does it look smaller to you? This could take hours.
Let's not stop.
Oh, this is so gnarly.
I grew up in Kansas, I've actually plowed fields but with a tractor.
- So this was completely different.
- I'll keep an eye out, I guess.
- Ah, cool.
That's gross.
- Oh, good God.
- Is that more on? - Yeah, that's good.
That's what we were doing wrong.
All right.
Judge? I think we figured out our silly mistake.
- Yeah.
Thank you.
- Thank you.
Thank you, guys.
Sorry for the mess.
I hope you can use these vehicles.
- Two? Two? - Yeah, get in.
Go, go, go go.
We've got to keep track of the ground that we cover.
It's not that easy to make the ox go that way.
This is unreal.
Don't go too fast or else I'll miss the clue.
Oh, we are so stupid.
We picked the biggest pond to find our clue.
Once you choose one, you couldn't switch.
This is huge.
We could really be here for hours.
- What's that? - This here? This is crazy! Nope.
Turn, turn, turn.
- Could you stop him? - I don't know how to make it stop.
It's hard.
Oh, my God, I'm so mad that we chose this one.
Stop, stop, stop.
- Thank you.
- Let's go.
Easy, easy.
- Here comes more.
- The dentists.
- This way.
- Jim and Misti made it.
I'm going to be so mad if they get theirs like really quick.
Are you kidding me? Somebody coming.
- This is not good.
- Everyone's here.
We gotta hurry up, Amy.
The scientists made it.
- God, this is so hard.
- It's here.
Come on, Amy.
Can't even walk.
He doesn't like this corner.
- It's about to get down and dirty.
- Come on, Ox.
What the hell? Everyone's here.
I don't know how you control this thing? - This is hilarious.
- I know, right? How do you get her to go the other way? Just like that our lead is gone.
Oh, my gosh, I can't walk in this.
Oh, God, we're going to lose! Oh, my God! Damn it.
Come on, baby.
Rob and I had an awesome lead before we saw the first team arrive.
Good ox, yeah! And after they arrived, within minutes were the dentists.
Can you get him to go around the edge? And right after them were the scientists.
- Don't bite me, Oxy.
- It was so frustrating.
Oh, my God.
Where is it? It's crazy how fast this game can change.
No, no, no.
How do you get it to go the other way? This is crazy! I'm falling.
Ok, I got it.
Come on, boy.
Good boy.
- Jim.
- You found it? - They found it.
- Unreal.
Oh, look.
They got it.
Jeez, they found it already? - We're good? - Yes! What's that? What's that in the water? Found it.
We found it.
- Oh, they found it too.
- They found theirs too.
- Who? - The scientists? - No way! - Yeah.
Oh, my God.
What are we doing? Search on foot for Phil and your next Pit Stop.
Phil and your next Pit Stop.
Rice is the number one agricultural product in the Philippines.
And has been cultivated here for more than 5,000 years.
Today, this rice farm is the Pit Stop of this leg of the race.
The last team to check in here may be eliminated.
Warning, the last team check in may be eliminated.
The last team may be eliminated.
Let's go.
- We have to get our bags.
- It's not far.
I see it.
It's right up ahead.
We can see it.
Come on, babe.
- Go, go, go.
- It's right there.
Keep digging.
- Catch them.
You gotta catch them.
- There's Phil.
Let's go.
Misti and Jim.
Dang it, that was so close to first.
- The candy girls.
- We're here, Phil.
- Jump on that mat.
- Good job, guys.
We were so close from first place.
I feel for you guys, that was so close.
It's okay, it's crazy how the race works.
Love it.
Welcome to Naic, Philippines.
- Thank you.
- We love it.
It is beautiful.
Misti and Jim We were so close! You are team number one again! Candy girls so close.
Team number two.
- The thumb just came alive.
- Told you the thumb was coming.
Today the thumb came out, fifth win.
We're the strongest team here.
We're going to close this thing out with victories.
It's going to be nothing but first place.
Misti and Jim, as the winners of this leg of the race, you've won a trip for two from Travelocity.
- You're going to go to Vietnam.
- Wow! You're going to spend five nights in a Hill Top Villa, at the Six Senses in Ninh Van Bay, which includes daily breakfasts, scuba diving kayaking and a city tour in Nha Trang.
Wrestlers are still here.
Good, good.
I'm tired like, I don't know we could just keep missing it.
Perfect.
Come on, oxy.
Hon, I feel something here.
- There it is.
- All right.
Hon, here it is.
Stop! Ox! - Did they get it too? - Come on.
Later, ox.
Thank you.
They got it too.
We gotta hurry.
Search on foot for Phil and your next Pit Stop.
Warning, the last team check in may be eliminated.
Search on foot for Phil and your next Pit Stop.
Look at that.
How close this is.
Is that another team? - Yeah, let's go.
- We can beat them on foot race.
I'm not going to make it.
I have no shoes on.
- We have to beat them.
- Phil is right up there.
Go, go, go.
We're last.
- Come on.
- That's a foot race.
Go, run, run.
Brooke and Robbie, you are the last team to arrive.
However, this is a non-elimination leg.
- You are still in the race.
- Thank God.
You deserve this.
It would not have been fair to eliminate you today considering how close it was.
However, some time during the next leg, you will encounter a Speed Bump, you will have to complete that before you can continue racing with the rest of the teams.
We're in last.
But today with our lead, we proved that we could beat them all.
We're just as strong as every other team.
A million dollars for us is like winning a championship title in wrestling, and we've had many of those and we're going to have $1 million.
We are so close to the end, and this is so incredibly competitive.
The fact that you're literally running on top of each other.
So what's going to happen? Who's got the race won? We'd be the third all-female to win "The Amazing Race".
So we're definitely going for that.
- We have in us to win it.
- We deserve to be on the final-3.
We've put up a good match and I think they recognize that.
This next leg coming up, it's going to be incredible to see who's going to have to leave.
So guys, great job and good luck.
- Yeah, same to you.
- Same to you.
Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.
Next week on "The Amazing Race".
As teams scramble for a spot in the finals.
We're in race for $1 million.
You know it now? You're doing good, Amy.
Just breath.
Come on, babe! The wrestlers get back in the game.
No Speed Bump could keep us back.
Adam goes head to head with Jim.
Tavora street? Jim was right behind me, I think he wanted to stay with me.
- I was like "See ya, dude".
- Adam.
And Amy completely loses control.
Don't let Amy pass you.
